Riyo had managed to stumble back over to the stage for assignment, glass half-empty (or half-full if you're an optimist) by the time she was in front of her superiors. "Oh geez, a tattoo..." The girl mumbled, then looked to her glass and chugged the other half of the concoction. With that out of the way, she rolled up her sleeve ever so slightly as she listened to the banter, an ample amount of scars decorating her pale skin. Yes, finesse. Of course, a cat. "Oh no, I'd expected something like a mongoose or a honey badger. Hey, that reminds me. Have you guys seen that v-" her rambling immediately halted as the laser did its work. "That's quite painful." Though she acted more as if such a thing was a mind blowing revelation. "Huh." And yet, so empowering. If she wasn't drunk, Riyo might worry that she was becoming a bit of a masochist.
And then it was just an inebriated walk back to the bar for her.

Oh. So Rep was in a real cranky mood. Gargantuan's face was the perfect picture of surprise, but he'd made no move to snatch Rep or try and get him away. In fact, his meaty hands had lifted as though to placate the other, but when he spoke, he didn't seem particularly frightened.
"Not meanin' no offense, sir, and sure as heck not meanin' to insult you with my pity 'n such." He said quickly enough. Didn't want to give the wrong impression to a guy who was way higher up than him. "Just sayin'. I saw you lift that kitty of yours, and I know you're one guy I wouldn't want to mess with if I didn't gotta. Maybe I'm assumin' too much. Just seemed like you were kinda down."
Well, at least Massacre hadn't tried to take his face off yet.
"Don't like seein' my family down."

There was a sudden intrusion on the situation from the stage. He didn’t hear a name. But these seemed like important people. He got up trying to make himself at least look presentable. Associates? Well, hopefully that meant they were officially cleared to be there, without any more grabbing. They looked rather like leaders… at least the reactions indicated that. “It’s… it’s ok.” He shuffled his bag, patting it down to check to make sure nothing was broken. At least they were getting a doctor over here for the girls. It looked like the newest arrival had an injuriy too. His next priority would have to be letting her know that it was a “portal malfunction”. In case they were asked later. But she, was in very close proximity of Roar, who he did not want to be too near at the moment. It seemed the new people wanted the giant’s attention. But… was she flirting with him? Well that would make their lives easier, but she really had taken the whole kingdom collapsing thing in stride. He tried to make eye contact with her and convey the message that he needed to talk to her soon. What was up with the Tattoos? He had never heard of them, it looked like they had walked in on some sort of gang initiation. He had heard something about those, but never seen one himself, and his father had never mentioned tattoos being involved. Maybe they were or maybe it was a new thing? Vegas was known for that. And was that a tiger? He edged back to Olivia, who still seemed a little woozy. He would deal with the newcomer in a minute. He glance around wondering if more would make their way through the portal.

Rep didn't ease up from the tense snarl, everything about his posture tensed, hands shaking with the effort of restraining his natural instincts to go to town on the other man. How dare he have a portion of the power of their kings while he had none? How dare he presume to soothe him the way he had kissed up to Massacre earlier? He was no domestic creature and had the right mind to teach him such.
"I'm no ******** down." Angry, insecure, paranoid and after the interaction with Nuk a little hot and bothered perhaps, he thought to himself, but not down. "If I was in a properly ******** bad mood, there'd be a lot more guts strewn around here. Blood cheers me up right? You want to encourage me to cheer up, you are volunteering."
He didn't lower the claws, still seeming to be genuinely considering using them, testing just how strong the powers Harrison was doling out were."And you aren't my family. No by a long shot. When I trust you, if I trust you maybe. Right now you are fodder."
Tracey moved from the bar and Rep dismissed the claws with a flourish.
"So don't even delude yourself."

Melvin grumbled as he rubbed his wrist, pouting as he looked at it. "A rabbit." He mumbled.
"What's wrong with a rabbit?" Saliva said, turning her wrist this way and that and holding her bracelets back to get a good look at it. "Rabbits are quick and hard to catch."
"Really, because I have a few in my lab." He said, looking over at her.
"You're not a guinea pig." She huffed, to which he just pouted more.
"I wonder how that would have looked like as a tattoo." He said as she lead him over to the bar. "It hurts."
"We'll get some ice and put it on your wrist." She moved to the bartender and requested some ice in a bag wrapped in a towel. As he did this, she noticed the two burly men getting all steamed over something. Taking a moment to check the size of their biceps, she moved over.
"Hey now. I know war is starting, but you should save your bloodlust for them." She said, regarding both of them. My, My. She already knew about Rep and his tastes, but big boy over there she didn't know.

Rep still hadn't dismissed his claws. Jordan sighed and got up from his seat, leaving his glass at the bar. He moved over to put a hand on Rep's arm. "Calm down," he said mildly. "Save the violence for later. The party's not anywhere near over."

Jerry froze in place at the bar when his name was suddenly called, his stomach twisting. Was he in trouble? Had he left any loose ends that last run? Oh god oh god oh god- his wobbling, bourbon-hampered walk was straightened out by the thick hand of his partner, freshly arrived Silvers still in tow as both stumbled up to the stage.
"Figured you'd know what t'do with them, Boss." Roar was still blushing from the fact "ROGER!" had been called out across the crowd.
B0nez said his peace. Harrison clarified.
Jerry's face had gone white. He hardly noticed the machine being pressed up to his arm. "I... you..."
"Thank you, Boss!" Roar translated for him. By the smell of the singed man, he had left him alone at the bar just a bit too long.
Overcome with emotion, and the tattoo-gun thankfully finished, Jerry suddenly lurched forward, arms suddenly thrown around Harrison in alcoholic glee, "Oh, thank you! Thank you-"
Roar wrenched him back again before any more damage could be done. "Does that mean his debts is paid?"
A promotion?? Jerry's face had contorted from the gloomy droop he had been sporting most of the evening to a sudden bright, sparkling hope. A team... a whole team the things they could accomplish, could plant, could rip through-
Roar gave him a firm punch to the elbow in hopes he would stop crying.

"Oh," Was all Gargantuan said after a moment, rubbing the back of his neck with something that might have been embarrassment. "I mean. If that's what you gotta do, then that's what you gotta do. I'm not gonna stop you none, if that's gonna help you feel better." He wouldn't allow himself to be crippled, but he was a big guy. If spilling a little blood would simmer him down, G had plenty to spare.
The mention of fodder made his face twist a little oddly, like those words were something foreign to hear. "Well," He said a bit more quietly, thinking it over as best he could. "Not everyone's gonna get along. I got that. But you're family to me, guy, and I'm gonna treat you like family."
Maybe that wasn't the smartest thing to say, but a woman and another guy had approached them, and G ducked his head as though to better escape their notice. "Not tryin' to start nothin', ma'am." It was a mumble.

It was one thing to gain the title from harrison. It meant much, that a weight was lifted off Jing's shoulders. The debt that amassed was erased.
Ying's motorcycle (and her potential boob job) was paid and forgotten. He wanted to sigh in relief and flop bonelessly to the floor. It didn't take much longer for the cogs to turn and figure out what the words truly meant.
Now he was indebted to the Watch, it and their 'family'. "Thank you, boss" the words came out naturally, the dealer wasn't even sure he said it at first.
It almost made him feel bad for planning to turn his back on them one the timing was right and his sister was safe away from their grasp. "I'll be the most cunning fox you'll ever see." he promised the man before heading off to mingle with the other guests.
His grin was set and there was a sway in his step. He knew that one day, he was going to have to thank the mob boss personally for his new identity.
RIght now, the only thing he wanted to do was find his dear Ying. "Curse you for being so short." he swore and began to push his way carefully through the crowd. "Excuse me, let me pass, if you please."

"Candace Pennington and Atropos," B0nez said, hardly having to look at his screen, "Hughsey doesn't know anyone with a stronger mind and spirit than you two. You've had, eh, a lot of hard knocks over the years, and you know what it takes to survive in this town. Even if that means being cut throat. This is an important position we're giving you here, we're putting you both in charge of extra Royal supplies in the field. They're not as strong as the pill bottles, but they'll do in a pinch."
"Look after the other officers," Harrison entreated quietly, "you've got career advancement written all over you. Those guys out there will be gunning for you. But I know who me and B0nez picked. You're a winner. You do what you have to. Keep it that way."
"Right, right. So. Distribution, kicking a**- and we're giving you a ton of power, so use it."
"Don't...take unnecessary risks," Harrison said, softer, "that's Jerry's job."
It was a good thing Candace was wearing a strapless dress. He turned her chair, and cleared a space on her back, across her right shoulder blade.
"You're watching people's backs," Harrison said, "you got my symbol. And my trust. ...And a big bonus to your paycheck."

It was very easy for Rep to go from furious to a sort of emotional overload, too many people intervening on one of his tantrums often sent him off the edge into a place where there was too much input, too many various irritations to deal with. Too much rage, it bordered on panic. When Jordan placed a hand on his arm, he let go of G as if the order had been mandatory rather than gentle suggestion. He rarely disobeyed Jordan's requests, it was never worth it.
"Think what you want." Rep hissed. "You'll know when you've ******** earned my respect or when you've been found wanting. Trusting people you don't even know is how you end up dead."
Saliva got an irritable look. "Don't tell me what to do. You should be ******** watching your little rat. Tell him if he ******** drugged my tiger I'm going to hurt him. A whole ******** lot."

Cee's show outside the door, falling all over the big guard, had been hurried along quicker than she intended when the big guy was called insistently to the stage. The dark haired woman followed, easing into her bruised ankle until she could mostly walk normally. She cast hooded eyes around at all the glitz and glamour; animals and jewels and liquor.
Oh. Baby.
What she'd felt was presentable, and had been in her own kingdom, now made the dark beauty feel like some sort of slovenly peasant. The other Silvers lingered by the stage and so she sauntered over, casting an unaffected eye around the room.
Some threatening looking females: check. Men who simply bled ego: check. Creepy doctor types: check.
Concetta mentally tallied everyone, weighed her options, cast a few interested glances at anyone who met her eye, and settled to observe what had to be their King.

Melvin perked up from where he was putting a bag of ice on his wrist when Rep mentioning drugging his tiger and killing him. "I could have poisoned it instead." Melvin mumbled under his breath to the bartender, who looked wide-eyed at the very thought of pissing off the red-head.
Saliva glanced to Melvin and back to him. "That rat makes a lot of profit for Harrison. I'm sure you doing anything to him would get you in more trouble than some dead tiger." She didn't see why he cared considering he was wearing a tiger right now. "You touch him, I kill you. Bosses orders." She was here to protect Melvin after all.
To G, she just smiled. "Ma'am?" She smiled at being called Ma'am.

Perhaps unexpectedly, G hesitated for a moment before he nodded a little at that. Placing his trust in others could probably lead to him getting into some real trouble... but if he started suspecting his family, then he couldn't trust anyone. Maybe that was why people like Rep were here, to weed out the people who weren't loyal to the family. Suddenly, everything shifted itself into place. Rep couldn't trust easy, so it was up to G to prove his loyalty and his worth.
"Okay, sir." Gargantuan didn't quite give a salute, but it was close. "I'm gonna earn it. You won't be disappointed in me."
His expression brightened a little at Saliva's smile, and he offered a somewhat broad smile of his own. "Yes ma'am. I'm uh, Gargantuan. Everyone just calls me G, though."

Jerry was to drunk and happy] to feel the sting of the tattoo, mostly lifted by the general invigoration of the whole deal as he tripped his way down from the stage, practically skipping ahead of Roar and nearly tripping on where Mass had flopped.
"Oh my god KITTY I got... I got a PROMOTION!" He beamed to the drugged animal, which apparently seemed like a good idea to grope his large white fluffy face.
Roar sighed, gripping his temples.
