Sadly for Melvin; Rin apparently gave no ********. Though she was completely unaware of his paranoid schizo thoughts at the moment... she would deny them profusely. Instead, she is enjoying this moment of music making and possible merriment. She moved closer to carefully swirl the bottle under her watch and then hover it over his glass. She looked to him with raiiiised brows. Yes? No? Maybe?

Rin was quickly redeeming herself, and he watched the bottle. Did bourbon and whiskey mix? He was too drunk and desperate to care. He gave her a small nod.

"Say when," Rin began to pour very slowly while watching him for a signal to stop. She hoped she'd get away with a bit more. It tasted terrible and was likely very bad for her... but it was a party damn it. Not like she did this every day, right?

Ami swiped a bottle as well- to give to Tori as a present for all the time Ami had stolen from her- and then nodded at Lex.
Fun was not the word Ami would've put on it.

Melvin was juggling between trying to keep a rhythm with a instrument while watching Rin every few seconds. By the time he looked at his glass and not the bottle pouring, it was already past half. He gave a raise of his hand, not sure if he should have gone that far with something he usually just sipped, but since it was already poured it would be a waste not to drink it. What time was it anyways? He felt like he'd been shaking this forever.

Rin halted the pour as soon as he signaled, her attention back on the bottle itself as she went to fetch a fresh glass and set it up high for him to see her pretend to pour. Clearly watching for an approval.

Maybe it said something that Rin was in Life for her to remember the clean cup rule and also not letting the bottle's lip touch the cup in any way. That alone had her redeemed completely, and he gestured for her to have at it. At least he was sharing the drink with someone he liked and would hopefully appreciate it.

Rin giddily poured herself quite a bit more than last time, being perfectly careful not to... touch the sides... aha. There. She finally offered to place the bottle back in Melvin's care, right beside his seat.
But now her rapt attention was on her own glass. That deep bitter aroma. That golden hue. Things she loathed not too long ago.. but in this hazy moment seemed almost beautiful. She stole a sip as she swayed, completely out of rhythm to Melvin and Jerry's playing.

Sweet Holy Bacon, he was free! The small Death Hunter ducked out with Ami and Lex, making a beeline for the second floor.

As the song came to a close, Jerry caught his breath, beaming at the... now much emptier room.
He sagged.
That had not been the reaction he had been hoping for.
"I uh... guess that's all." He pursed his lips, putting his guitar down.
How come the creatures of Halloween seemed eager to dance and be merry at the drop of a hat, but Hunters were stuck in the mud? It was... disappointing.
Was his playing really that bad?
"You can put the radio back on," He muttered to Harrison, "How much longer til midnight anyway?"
And where had his drink gotten to?

At some point Jerry had started to play, people left, people drank. Melvin and Rin where making an interesting sight to say the least at this point. But really for Roland the one thing he wanted to see wasn't here.
Instead he grabbed a can of soda moving over to Jerry leaning over to the other hunter. "I'm not offended or anything, and it was good. But sadly the only person I wanted to dance with... isn't actually here." He frowned a bit, "I'd wager she's probably napping again if anything..."

Melvin stopped moving the maraca, set it down on the corner of the keyboard and tapped Jerry on the shoulder. "I think the younger hunters just wanted out. Short attention spans. This isn't exactly a dance floor either. It's too crowded, there's pieces of glass, and there needs to be more smoke machines and lasers I guess. Not exactly a club." It was the last part of helping Jerry Melvin had in him for the night before he picked up his glass, drank, and picked up the bottle, moving over to Rin.
"You better not have gotten Jerry to flag me down like that." Because if so, Rin was in trouble.

"What?" Rin scoffed incredulously. "Do you really think J... Jerry needs help being Jerry?" she turned her attention back to her glass and finally took another testing sip. Once you got past the terrible taste, it really seemed quite... comforting. She smiled a bit more calmly, "Anyway, you did pretty well. All musically inclined and crap." Was she... beaming with pride now?..

The Sun hunter sighed. Almost midnight and people were dropping like flies before even waiting for the count down. "It's alright. I just made a total fool of myself in front of everyone. Nothing new," He mumbled to Ro. Melvin was already gone again before he could say anything. Harrison, Jordan and Rep were all pretty much passing out... and his attempts at making new friends had gone disastrously.
He needed some air. Disappointment still written all over his face, he hefted his guitar, leaving the piano for now, and his drink to head toward the door.

Jordan put his cup down to applaud when Jerry finished the song; he might not have felt like dancing, but he could show some kind of appreciation.
