Narisa and Cepheith

"K-Kindra!" Narisa squeaked out, feeling... well grateful and uncertain at the same time. Did they need this? She... felt they did. Her gut was screaming that something was not right. That this was similar to before. "Thanks." She murmured to her friend. Besides, it wasn't like you were going to say anything. Her dragon added. The Goldrider just sighed heavily, trying to organize her thoughts... which got railroaded again as the first volunteer to step forward was Set'al.

Pipith and his are a good pair to ask this of. The Gold said with approval.

Fardles, she was going to have to shove her feelings to the back burner and start acting like a Goldrider. Not just 'Narisa'. "Do you think you and Pipith can scout out the areas that we haven't received reports from yet?" She asked, nodding to what Kindra had said. "I... shellit, I just feel like we are missing something. That... there might be more going on." And it made her stomach feel queasy. "I want scouts that won't draw attention to themselves to investigate and make sure all else is well. But be cautious."

Pipith. Mine and I wish for you both to please be careful. Let us know if you find anything?

Moriath. Have you managed to find anything yet, sister? There was still a hint of concern in the Gold's tone, but she had faith that her Crimson brethren would be alright. Have any others joined you?

Moving in to lower her voice, Narisa spoke to Kindra. "Do you... get that chilly feeling? Things were so festive and then... " Blood. Fire. Things attacking them. Would this be how things for their Weyr would go from now on? Her blue eyes glanced towards her Senior Weyrwoman with worry. Would Abigail be alright? Would they be alright? "I... I'm glad I have you here with me." She said with feeling to Kindra. Closing her eyes briefly and inhaling deeply to steady herself, Narisa regarded those around her with a little more courage.

Cepheith, check on D'lin's group.

Plexith goes to assist. Plexith, are the others alright?

"Several buildings are in flames. Have we got a place set up yet for the Healers?" Narisa asked, loud enough to be heard. "Anyone that can offer assistance to those that will be coming with burns, please see to our Healers here for instructions." Ceph can you-

Plexith, have the weyrlings assist in bringing injured back if they can. We will have a place for them here.

The Gold paused, then added to both Goldrider's and Suunath, There is a tunnelsnake at Trine when there should not be one. Her voice was a low growl mixed with confusion. How does something that was not there appear there now?

Good question, is what Narisa thought. But didn't voice it as Cepheith quickly relayed that Plexith was bringing wounded. "I need Healers ready and volunteers to assit them now."

Relys/Blue Relysk (Option A- hunting felines)

Relysk was tracking well. The handler moved with practiced ease to follow. He nearly stumbled over the tail as the wher stopped. It took him a moment to gather what the wher had caught. “Good boy!” It was even better when a rider came over. “Relys,” he offered. “Relysk says he’s caught scents of felines, human and dragon blood.”

“No, let’s continue on. I’d like for you to keep with me so we can relay anything we find.” This would be much easier than Relysk trying to attract attention each time. Attention that could be good or bad. “We’ll protect you if the need arises until Iwieth can get you away.” He wasn’t going to put the rider in peril if he could help it. Still either the rider came or he didn’t, Relys was going to keep tracking.

Relysk was pleased as he caught one of the dragon’s attention. He gave a chirrup, then looked at V’tur and his handler. The cue came to continue. Relysk put his nose to the ground and started out again. He used his scaly head to shove aside some branches. After that branch everything became easier. The scent was crisp and clear. Foliage, while close, just seemed to move out of his way without him touching. Relysk gave a chirp as it looked like there was a clearing ahead.

Kindra
tag Narisa

Well, hadn't she just railroaded Narisa, she felt guilty but her friend had appeared to freeze up, she could understand that, the situation was scary and knots were forming and twisting in Kindra's gut as she got no word so far from either N'mol or Tyeth. She leaned towards Narisa when the other woman leaned towards HER to listen and her face, if it could fall anymore from it's worried look, it did. "Yes .. something.. just isn't right" she said "I don't know much about your felines but how did they get into the stores unseen... and just WHY would they even attack in the first place... it's a sharding WEYR... that should keep them out in the first place" She gave Narisa's arm a reassuring squeeze. "I'm glad you're here too.. " she gave Narisa a grim smile.

She was surprised at the woman's suggestion though "Was the infirmary hit Narisa? .. injured would be better off there, given enough guards not even a tunnel snake could get in there." she offered "All the supplies are there already rather than move healers around" She looked to the brownrider and the two apprentices trying to save the man that had been slashed "I don't think he's moving anytime soon though" she gestured until she heard Cepheith in her head, well that was an odd feeling, she'd only had Suunath in there before.

Suunath lashed her tail angrily, possibly hitting a dragon or two nearby. "Mine, we should get everyone back to the Weyr" she suggested, wanting to be somewhere safe NO! Kindra slammed down on Suunath "you will stay where it's safe... i am NOT going to risk you, especially after your Flight... we can't risk your eggs" she snapped which had Suunath even more annoyed, she had forgotten in the heat of the moment about her eggs and she reversed a little as she had been right in the outer ring of dragons, the first that would have been hit if Felines had come attacking. "I wish to fight... she almost whined at her rider, very unlike Suunath and the Gold looked to Cepheith and made her way towards her sister Gold.

Iwieth/V'tur
tag Relys/Relysk

Iwieth rumbled and tried to move about but his space was limited. His talons dug in the dirt, not pleased about being unable to reach his rider. The brown's eyes whirled with anger and frustration. Why don't they show themselves?

The brown could just make out the scent of feline and something else. He turned to the blue and gave him encouragement. Find those who threaten our home.

V'tur nodded, his belt knife out and moved closer to Relys. "I understand. There is another behind me, Kallista. Her dragon is smaller and may be able to go places with your blue. And with me staying close by, I can relay to the others what we find."

Freia and Freiask (gathering info)

Freia went up to another group, wanting to make sure that stories matched before taking off after the tunnelsnake. "Do any of you have any information on the tunnelsnake?"

A small hand went up. "It went that way," with a finger pointing to the west. "How did it get here? Is it really a tunnelsnake?" Freia had no answer for the youngster, knowing that it should be impossible for such a creature to be in Trine. With a shrug she had to walk away to catch up with the rest of the group.

"I got some info," she stated as Freiask got close to her. "Come on, lets go tell the others."

[Moriath - Tag golds/wingleaders/group A]

Moriath urged her expanded group of companions grimly. Hopefully to the felines, so that they could be dispatched. she added, lips pulling back in a grimace as a branch scraped at her hide.

Moriath replied to Cepheith, including the other golds and wingleaders in her words too.

Narisa and Cepheith
[Tag Kindra/Suunath, Adi, Moriath]

"Exactly." She gave Kindra a grim look. "They shouldn't have been able to. Not everyone was here at the party. Something isn't adding up." Which was why she felt strongly about having someone scout the area. Though she really wished another would join Set'al... Narisa blinked at Adi, not quite familiar with the Bluerider, but Cepheith supplied a name for her. "That would be a huge help. Thank you, Adi." She gave the woman a grateful smile, turning back to Kindra.

"Honestly, I don't know. And I... don't want to risk something else happening. Like another fire starting. And we don't know where the Tunnelsnake is yet." She frowned, taking in what Kindra said. Her friend was right. But was it safe? "We can have the mildly injured brought here to be treated and those with severe injuries sent to the Infirmary. Assuming it is still in one piece." Which meant more guards there, though she desperately hoped there were already some placed around the Infirmary. Her gaze fell to the injured man. "No, I don't think he is either." Thinking for a moment, Narisa turned to another familiar face. "Optheli, thank you. Any assistance you can offer to those healers here now would be tremendous. Even if it's just finding more material to use as bandages."

Why must we always be on the sidelines? Cepheith grumbled, eyes a brilliant red-orange. We weren't exactly on the sidelines last time, Ceph. The Gold huffed, wings flicking out partially. She turned her head towards Suunath as her sister Gold approached. I do not like waiting. Or being stuck there. She was worried about her dragons. And her home.

Cepheith was glad to hear the Crimson's report. That group was doing alright then, even if they'd found nothing yet. Continue to be careful and let us know if something changes. Cepheith replied. Things are much the same here. Whiny humans huddling together. But safe. Was she still a little irritated? Why yes! Yes she was.

[Rochelle, tag Kleos]

Really, having a Kleos near was not what Rochelle expected. She blinked at the concern and reassurance, shoulders slacking a bit with a release of at least a little tension.

"Yeah. People. You're right." She cleared her throat and saw another, a teenaged boy coughing and rubbing at his throat. When she got to him, he coughed into her shoulder and shook his head. "Shards - smoke?"

"South." He said, voice a croak. "Went south."

"Lovely," she murmured and led him back. Rochelle called back to Kleos. "He said it went South!"
