Dante shook his head, although was dwelling on the thought of the mark. He supposed it'd look like a tattoo or something. He didn't know. Although he dreaded the thought that it would hurt to gain. He didn't like that thought at all. Through his thoughts, Kiera grew more concern for him, as he didn't show at all that he was even the mildest scared on the outside, grinning happily and nodding to Shortstraws every word. He was just being a happy child. "Pure breed.." Asher shook her head. Seems Shortstraw was going to have two underdeveloped minds as his left and right hand man. This was going to be fun. Mind the sarcasm. "So tomorrow is a ceremony.. Okay. I got it." He looked to Kiera. "What can I tell mom and dad?" Kiera licked her teeth. "I'll tell them I'm taking you out. I know they're reluctant for you to be with me all the time anyway. Well. Not Yuji so much. Just Amelie." Dante looked to the ground. "You're a bad influence.." Kiera laughed. "See? I knew she thought I was going to warp his mind. Hypocritical b***h." Asher cleared her throat. "Now now. We won't be using any of that language around Dante. And I'm sure she has better reasons than that anyway." She gave Dante a look.

*Shortstraw gave a nod, "For now yes we will have to help cover you. Perhaps i'll talk yuji into letting you go with me on these nights, say were going bowling or somthing. But later you will have to be leaving after you trained and ready in order to do missions and lead the others. So in time you will be trained in being extreamly sneaky." He laughed and looked to Asher, then to Donte agian. "Okay buddy tonight we're not going to do anything becuse i have to fixt his plac eup for tommorow night, i susspect the time to be around..." he looked to keria, "five-ish." He smiled, "So have a good trip home and of course," He winked, "we will meet again." He looked to keria, "I guess you can go with him, Asher and I have some things to do here. If you want to coe back ad help you can..." he hinted he wanted more help to keria, "but if not then i'll be home in a few hours.* He smiled and looked to the pile, which was halfway cleaned up. he knew when they left him and Asher would be haveing alot of conversation.*

Kiera nodded and kissed Shortstraw before she picked up Dante and put him on her shoulders again. "All right. I'll probably come back after. See you later." Kiera left the room with Dante and were soon out of the bunker. Asher sat on the cold floor and didn't speak at first. She was in deep thought. Kiera's mentality was... suddenly better. She had thought about it a lot since she came back. She probably should stop thinking about it. Although couldn't bring herself to trust this Kiera. She wasn't all too sure she trusted her in the first place.

*Shortstraw smiled as they left from reciving a kiss. Obviously the night had really made the two... more connected then before. He liked it. He kept putting the items away, "I know that your thinking the two i choose for my right and left hands may be scetchy. But i have good reasion. Also..." he looked to Asher, "Your sorta like an advisor, your neither left nor right hand, your like... above that rank." He chukkled, "And you seem puzzled. Whats up?" He asked ifnishing the pile off neatly.*

Asher shook her head. "Nothing. It doesn't matter." She lifted her head and looked to him, then chuckled insecurely. "Of course I'd be above that rank. Being branded with your mark must have it's perks of course." She glanced to the door. "And what is your reason to have one: A child for your right hand and two: A child like girl for your left hand? Seems you like the underdeveloped brains to have the most responsibility. I don't see the logic, personally. But of course, this is just how I am. I've never worked with kids before. Always boring old demons."

*Shortstraw nodded and help up a fingure, "I chose them becuse they are young. You see they will work harder, think better, and learn quicker. The less other things they have on there minds the better. For instance, Donte. He has a young mind, but he i susspect will be extreamly devoted to the group. he will care from the begining to it's end. I need that. And it will be a while before he is a leader, so he also has time. Soflora has no where to go, and she cares alot aobut others, so i feel the two cancle eachtother out with strigth and weaknesses. I know i can trust them, and they will never stab me in the back." He smiled, "i gave it alot of thought."

Asher nodded. "Seems like a good enough explanation. I'm impressed." And coming from Asher, that was a one in a million compliment. Although they seemed to be more common these days, anyway. She grinned. "It's true, they'll both grow strong quickly. I'm sure of it." Asher stretched her front legs then her back, before shaking her fur. "Think better I'm not sure about, though. They lack the wisdom of most experienced fighters like yourself and I. They'll pick it up in time, however it may take some time before they can handle much." She shrugged. "We'll see, anyway." At the castle, Kiera had just settled Dante in his room, and she was just about to leave. Dante pulled a sour face. "Can't you stay for a bit? Uncle Shortstraw won't notice." Kiera tickled his belly and he fell back laughing. "Unfortunately he's small like you, and needs someone to reach the high shelves." Dante giggled. "Are you gonna go back now?" Kiera nodded. "But first I'll go see mom." "Why?" Kiera looked away. "To tell her I'm taking you out tomorrow, of course." She lied. Dante nodded. " 'Kay. I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" Kiera nodded and smiled before she left the room in pursuit of her mother. She found her, alone in the main bedroom.

*Shortstraw nodded and looked to Asher, "I'm afrade it's going to be that way will all the ones that are going to join us, but it makes it easyer to train them the rigth way the way i want them to be trained." He chukkled and closed the rooms door, "Alright we need to set up the main hall for the first carimony. I havn't done any carimonys before, so any helpful hints..." he chukkled leading the way.*

Asher shook her head. "I'm not one partial to ceremonies either. I can't help you there. Demons were never that organised, neither were we ever promoted or anything. So I haven't seen a ceremony before." She paused and followed him, lowering her head. "Apart from the ceremonies I've been to, to kill people. But that's beside the point. I wasn't concentrating." Kiera leaned on the door frame and crossed her arms as she watched her mother make herself a blood-tablet drink. Amelie turned to face her then a small thin grin was plastered onto her face. Kiera's remained cold as stone. "My loving daughter." Kiera's eyes thinned. "My malicious mother." Amelie tutted. "Now now. Wouldn't want to tempt the wolf, now would you?" Kiera walked into the room and shut the door behind her. "That's quite unfortunate, actually. That's exactly what I had in mind." Amelie was intrigued, and raised an eyebrow as she sipped her drink. "Oh? What does my bodacious girl have in mind? I do believe recently you've been acting too much like me. I trust you've come to dislike it. Despise it. Am I correct?" Kiera couldn't help herself to a small chuckle, raising a hand to her mouth as her speckled fiery eyes shone. She took a couple of steps closer. "Well. You never have known me all too well, mother."

*yuji was walking to his room when he heard the girls arguing... he back up, "yea i'm not going in at that battle." He looked to Dontes door and peered inside to see if he was alseep, if not he would hide in there till the war in his room was over.
Meanwhile shortstraw chukkled, "Yea back in your time they belieaved evertyhing was witchcraft i bet and the burned and or hanged alotof people as a cerimony... we're not goingto do that at all... not even to the demons." he chukkled and walked into the room she showed him before, the one much like a church, "hmmmm... i think i can lay this out well actully..." eh smiled in thought.

Asher nodded. "I can see it being good already." She scoffed, anyway. " 'My time' you say. I'm not that old. I'm practically young in demon terms. Although I have lived for several hundred years. Not that old. Not really." She laughed. "And they weren't half wrong, with the witchcraft thing." Kiera turned her head to the door, then back to Amelie. She had finished her blood drink and was now sitting on the bed cross-legged like a child. "What is it that I don't know about you, dear? Let me indulge you. Please do. Your mind has never been accessible to me. And you don't know how stupidly annoying it is." Kiera chuckled again. "Oh, I'm pretty sure I have a good idea. However I wish I could say the same for you, your mind doesn't contain many secrets lately." Amelie shrugged. "We aren't discussing me." She looked back to her with shimmering crimson eyes. "What do you call yours, then?" Kiera took a step back. "Call what?" Amelie practically giggled. "I called mine Mistle for a while. Then I came to accept the fact that it wasn't her spirit haunting my body, and that she was in fact. Me." Kiera's mind went into full drive. "Eve told me it was a form Yuji's multiple personalities." Amelie licked her lips. "She was wrong. You were my first child. She was never of my blood. And Veira's was less... potent. From all the alterations she has." She clapped her hands together. "Yes. Your other personality is from me." Kiera looked away from her. "Why do we have them?" Amelie's eyes bore deep into Kiera's skin. "To deal with immense pain." Kiera shook her head. "This isn't what I came to talk to you about."

*Shortstraw looked to her, "well accourding to the school system a few hundred years ago they did thoughs sorts of things, but i'll take your word on it." He chukkled. He knew what he was going to do, simple. He looked around however, "Alright now for Dontes personal stash area. So he has a place to put his stuff whatever stuff it may be." he turned and headed to the other room asher pointed out...*

Asher chuckled. "As you should take my word for it. Asher knows all and is wise, ya'know." She eyed him up a little. "And what would you know of the school system anyway? You were living on the streets for most of your life. Not exactly enough funding to get a meal let alone schooling." Amelie got bored again and rolled off the bed and started to rummage through the drawers. "What is it then, little dove? Boy troubles? Managed to let anyone ******** you yet?" Kiera was behind Amelie with a knife to the back of her neck, and Amelie merely froze and giggled. "Ah, so you have." "My personal life is none of your business." Kiera spat at Amelie. Amelie pushed the dagger away from her neck and stood up to face Kiera properly. "And yet, my dear, you are here. Seeking my council. Funny thing about personal lives. You can never keep them from your parents." Kiera's eyes were piercing. "I can sure as hell try." Amelie shrugged and moved away from Kiera's threats. "You may. But the same result will occur. Especially with mothers." Amelie sat on the bed once more. "You still haven't told me what you're here about."

*Shortstraw shrugged, "Well when i still had my familiy of course. I went to school back then before everything happened. i wasn't in long for about a year or three..." he chukkled and made a face, "Ahser knows all huh. well thats why i ask you things." he said proudly, "it's good to have a wise a$$ around...." he laughed.

Asher sniffed the air in mock snobbishness. "My a** is practically sacred. And you're just lucky to have it on your side." Asher loosened up and stretched her shoulders. "You don't really talk of your family. Do you remember much of them? If you don't mind me asking of course." Kiera put her dagger away. "I'm not so sure I want to talk about it any more." Amelie grew impatient. "So what, you would like to talk about more mother-daughter things then? Want me to discuss with Yuji about your times with Shortstraw? Well I assume it's times anyway. Could be once. You are my daughter after all. Yokai women can't be satiated so easy." Kiera now remembered why she despised talking with her mother. She had a way of burrowing under her skin and finding what most effects her. "I'm not here to talk about that, either. I actually came to ask for your assistance with something." Amelie smiled. "Oh?"
