" A-Alexander? Alexander, where are you?!", she called back. His voice had seemed far off, but that could've been because of the density of the fog. Looking around frantically, Maggie kept moving back, not really paying attention to what was behind her. Suddenly, she thumped into something behind her, causing her to scream. She spun, ears flattening to her head and crouched, ready to defend herself. With a heavy sigh, she realized she'd bumped into the exact person she was looking for. " Oh, thank Jack, it's you! I was afraid I'd be lost by myself. Just thank Jack...". Maggie was shaking as she stood, almost in tears. She was relieved to find someone she knew.

"Okay good plan. Because the first sign of trouble without any possibly good outcomes and Im rolling this thing back to my dorm. Care to join me?" Bul looked up at the doll pleadingly. A spot in his trash can was a very comfortable place to be. A little smelly, but still.-- Enough of his whimpering and sniveling about this had caused Ace to get bleary-eyed. It was overwhelming! Today was like.. his fourth day EVER at Amityville and while it was supposed to be a school of fright and scaring, Ace hadn't even taken a SINGLE class yet. "Guys.. someone, anyone, please tell me... what.. what is happening??" he cried out into the fog, and eventually found himself wandering into one of the standing groups of students. "Is this like an after festival show... thing?" he grimaced.

It was all Mei could do to keep from laughing as the mental image of Bul rolling himself back to the dorms in the trashbin, worked itself into her mind. It was a nice distraction from current and possible danger nearing. "It might be faster to go by foot, rather than roll back and possibly get stuck in a garbage can along the way. Mind you, being stuck in there with you isn't always a bad thing. Apart from the smell in there that is."

Draven hadn't needed much prodding to stay with the group. He'd barely managed to introduce himself when the voices started. This was...he recognized this. Like that fog from before. Draven really didn't like where this was headed. "Staying together is the best plan," Draven said quietly, as much to himself as anybody. The group was growing, and there was some comfort in that. ((I just didn't want to quote everyone. >_>;; ))

"Hey. No. No look, this is.. " Suddenly Bul squirmed uncomfortably, pulling a grody sort of organic object out of the bin that had lodged itself who knows where. "Er.." He tossed it aside. "Okay maybe. Why not just hang out on top of the can and I'll give you a piggyback ride when we've got to book it, k?"

"Where are we going, exactly?" Aksaja asked nervously when Shun told them to start moving. He had joined the little circle near the outside edges - not necessarily because he was more confident than any of the others, he just hadn't heard the whole 'people more able to fight on the outside' thing. Though in all actuality, he was probably better equipped to do something than the first years.
The lightning dragon blinked then as someone obviously new stumbled up to the group, asking if this was some kind of show. s**t. "No, this definitely isn't a show," he muttered, reaching out to grab the kid's wrist. "Get behind me, and stay with us. This probably isn't going to be much fun."

With a glance to Shun, Poke' was beginning to understand what was going on. And what was about to happen to. Especially when Thackery explained what was wrong. You say he's sick..." She said slowly. Yeah, it was looking pretty bad. If this was the same 'sickness' that had happened to Riley and that dragon, well... "I'll do my best not to hurt this friend of yours" She said to thackery. "But I..can't make any promises.' And then, someone else approached the group asking what is going on. "...It looks like we might be fighting a very dangerous creature soon, if not walking around in the fog and hearing voices". She explained to ace. Sort of.

Shun's question earned a look of please don't make me say this. Thackery snuck a hurried look towards Ash, certain now that it really was him. Tricks of the light could only last for so long. And they didn't make his heart feel this way. "I...no. No. I promised. Please. Just don't." He clenched his fists, meriting a plastic creak from the phone. He'd done everything he needed to, as far as protecting the group went, and he very clearly had no intention of changing his stance. Very carefully, eyes still trained on them, he backed away from them. If they would all just run the other way, maybe he could fix this.

"Theeeere you are. I never got that interview, Pidge." Enzo's voice was calm, but as he pushed through the fog to put a hand on the watery ghoul's arm, his face was worried. "This fog don't smell right. Think you was away but I seen it at the horseman isles. Don't worry, I'm prepared this time," He shifted his travel broadcasting device, fiddling with a few knobs before tying off the microphone onto his shoulder. "Gnome showed me how to set it to record. Shame we aren't broadcasting live but I think everyone who'd tune in is already here." He took her hand to drag her forward before she could protest. There, through the curling smokey mist he saw the shape of people gathering, and a familiar set of striped pants and shining horns. "HEY! ACE!" He let go to grab the demon by the arm, yanking him back urgently, a few accidental roaches sent scurrying along the boil's arm in his quickness.

Askaja had grabbed his wrist and moved him behind, making Ace's teeny tiny little greed demon heart leap into his throat. That wasn't explaining anything- at all. Fighting a creature? WHAT no what?? WHAT??!
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYEEE-"
Ace actually belted out a scream when Enzo grabbed him. WHY WAS EVERYONE GRABBING HIM? The greed demon shuddered and actually shed a tear now. The nerves were getting the better of him. "Geez... sweet sally mother of-" he took a few deep breaths, not minding the little cockroaches on him. "Enzo do you know what this... this all is?"

Kashi only caught the end of the conversation but the look that donned the dark haired boil's face might of shattered Kashiyoru's heart. Had it still been able to beat within the ghosts chest. He forced a calm smile and slid behind the shorter boil and slid his hand gently over the others clenched fist. "You look like a paper tiger trying to take on a storm." He voiced before adding, in a quieter tone, "All alone." Kashi looked around and turned back to the boil. "There are too many others here for you to think you're all by yourself." He smiled.

Xiu had expected a little bit of resistance, but the firm tone in her "big brother"'s voice still made the baku droop as little. She looked uncertain when she felt someone grasp at her hand, turning to look at Amphi with a small frown. Her ears and tail had drooped a little, but there was a stubbornness in her voice when she spoke.
"We...we can't just leave him alone," She insisted, looking to Thackery, "And it's safer with even two people than just one. Or..." Or was the Cerberus willing to come with them? He said that he didn't want either anyone in this group or this "Ash" student to be hurt...so it would be okay if they did as he had asked and avoid going in the direction he had pointed out, right?
Her ears drooped further when the boil began to back away. Did he not want to leave Ash? It made sense--Xiu would have been hesitant to leave had it been one of her close friends who was, as Thackery had put it, "sick"--but would he be safe when the area was heavy with the feeling of impending danger?
Xiu looked between the group, to the lone boil, and then back. "You...you won't come with us? And there's nothing I, or any of us, can do to help?" The sensation of lostness was really beginning to make the ghoul anxious now, and the fingers that were curled around Amphi's tightened slightly.

Suddenly a hand grabbed at Bea's arm, she shrieked in surprise, only to find Enzo trying to reassure her. "Enzo!" she smacked his chest with irritation but actually it was the one time she was relieved to see him first. Before she knew it, she was already dragged off by the boil, "Hey- where are we going?" hitting him with her free hand as they walked along. She was feeling so disoriented until he let go of her arm... which then she felt extremely lost. Oh, hey! It's that demon she met earlier who gave her a free packet of cards!

Another new fa--oh wait, it was the kid who was running the card booth. "Not a show. Keep your head low," he said to the demon, then turned towards Aksaja, "Anywhere but here. Though.."Shun's gaze drifted back towards Thackery, who was having a great deal of a hard time right now. "I hope my suspicions are wrong. If not, we may all be in quite a bit of danger right now."In which... the only solution the Reaper knew of was to eliminate the threat if possible. Hopefully, he was just thinking of the worst cast scenario and this won't turn out like what happened over at the horsemen isles. With this in mind, he just sort of frowned at Xiu.

Aksaja actually jumped when the new kid suddenly screamed, snapping his head around to stare at him for a moment. What the hell?! Still, they were all on edge here, so . . . whatever. He couldn't really blame him. He'd been halfway listening to Thackery talking about Ash being "sick". Then he finally made the connection. Fog. The Horseman Isle. And someone being sick. Oh hell no.
Hell. No.
This was bad. "I think you might be right," he muttered to Shun. "But . . . if there's some way to help him, then we should try."
