he sighed deeply as he followed. He couldn't deny that he would be leaving. In his mind he was the only powerfull magic user left in this real that could help open the portal to get Thor back. There was no other to help.
His energy drainned he would die for sure, but as far as she needed to know for now, he might go back to asgard. She didn't need to know he was going to sacrafice himself like that.
Part of him was now wishing he could stay, with her.

Loki followed back to camp and began to getting an area ready for a fire.
"Go ahead and pick out some food." He said as he focused on the fire pit.

Lois Lane – National Park
The former star investigative reporter had walked back to camp with sheer determination her eyes focused ahead of herself roaming the area for a possible attack. She would not be a damsel in distress for the rest of her pitiful life. She wasn’t in a very friendly mood but that was what made her uniquely Lois. The constant roller coaster of unpredictability unless she was with Clark. Her one constant long gone as she contemplated a darker path for a moment a small smile gracing her lips before it faded as her own mind berated her for thinking such a horrible reality. She would not know the war going on in her current companion’s mind as she dropped the pile of wood beside him. “We managed to get canned food right..” She mumbled as she walked towards the car reaching for one of the bags as she dug out two cans before walking back towards him. Lois sat herself on the ground staring into the fire the canned food in front of her as she allowed her mind to wander.

Loki took the two cans and poked 2 holes in each to vent and set them on the fire to heat up.
He sat back with Lois and felt the strain of useing too much magic. His head hurt and his fluttered a bit.
"Seems I'm more tired than I thought." He tried to brush it off for her sake. He was out of practice. Other than impersonating old rich men for short periodes of time. Today he had done a lot. Not just magic, just the day in general. It was amazing how drained one got just being in a vihicle for a long time.

Lois Lane – National Park
The Lane stared deep into the fire not moving much as she closed her eyes his words washing over her as she cracked her eye open to look at him. He looked exhausted but she wasn’t going to say much about it without sounding bossy or pushy. ‘Then go to sleep then..’ She thought releasing a heavy sigh as she turned her head to fully look at him. “You need to rest. I can stand watch you know..” She offered with a simple gesture with her head as she cautiously reached for a can of the food. “Eat first though.. then we’ll go back to the car and you sleep..” She offered with a smile that would have disarmed Clark. “I promise to be on my best behavior..”

Loki couldn't help but smile in return and take the other can. He used a tinny bit of magic to open both cans before settleing in.
"Yes mother." He teased her with a smirk. He did need to rest but so did she.
"We can go in shifts if need be. Wake me when your tired and I can take watch." He said.

Lois Lane – National Park
The brunette rolled her eyes at Loki half wanting to cuss him out for referring to her as mother. She laughed softly though into her can of food as she raised it to her lips tilting it back to eat. It seemed like the moody demi-god returned to his slightly playful and mischievous mood, silently she was grateful. “Fine.. We can take shifts.” She offered with a half shrug as she continued to work on her meal. The car would be a safer place to sleep and rest. With her having been cooped up in the Wayne Tower waiting for death.. this might actually be a little more relaxing than leaning against the wall.

Emma Frost: Arkham City

Emma appreciated that the Joker was all business and did not focus on her body if the freaky clown had shown any interest in her body she would probably bolt from the room as fast as she could: she did not even want to think of being on display and entertaining those creepy yellow eyes in the black void sockets.
She would not try to steal his throne until the time was right and since the clown was only interested in business that meant she would have to climb the ranks: probably start small, something like a fry cook or a waitress.

She listened as the Joker mentioned not hiring unknowns because they could be cops, but there were no cops in the city anymore. Emma figured if she said she was not a cop it could be considered a give away and he could try to have her killed because of it, so she merely nodded. She thought for a minute. The clown had mentioned powers' meaning it was likely he had seen at least one of hers' in action. "Well, I can cook, make coffee and pretty much else you could think of”, Emma said: she would downplay her abilities' for the time being and bide her time. Hopefully the Joker did not think she was wasting his time.

NuSith
One of Joker's men stumble in to see his leader talking to a beautiful blond woman. The man's face beaded in sweat and looked as if he had seen a ghost.
One of the other men stopped the man.
"Can't you see the boss is in a meetin?' He growled.
The other man shook his head. "This is important.. The Bat is back." His voice cracked with fear. "And he's leavin bodies... Not playing around any more. The Bat kills." The man looked terrafied.

The Harlequin of Death was amused by her games, trying to avoid revealing what he already was more than aware of. The problem for her was that he knew all too well that psychics and telepaths couldn't play in his head without going crazy as a result and as for telekinetics? Well... that's why Lex Luthor invented power inhibitors after all... too bad for the baldy that they were all in the Joker's possession now. It gave him a certain level of comfort in knowing that she couldn't tell what he was thinking and since he only told his minions what their jobs were rather than anything important, she would be having a hard time figuring anything out.

So when the goon came bursting in with bad news, he already had a plan formulating in his twisted head. That isn't to say he wasn't pissed off by the rude interruption or the news itself but he wasn't a fool, he knew the Bat better than anyone in his line of work. Tilting his head slightly to the news goon he said in an eerily gentle, almost parental tone "It's alright... let him say his piece." Those demonic eyes however turned very bitter at the news and his tone became far more hostile as he stood up and demanded to know "Were you born today?! Do you know nothing of the Dark Knight?!" He literally growled the next part "BATMAN... DOESN'T... KILL!" and with that he shot the man square in the head with the magnum he had resting on his desk, blood flying back into the door's archway and across the floor before his body fell limp before saying in a far more calmed down, matter of fact tone "...I do." and then he giggled a little at his own remark.

He then looked to Emma and said politely "I apologise Miss Frost, a lady shouldn't have to see that... but since you're looking for work. How about a little initiation job?" He glanced to the guard goon as he continued to speak to her "I'm sure Gord here would be more than happy to organize a scouting party for you to lead. I want you to seek out this fake Batman, figure out where he's making his nest and report back to me. Sound fun?"

Barbara Gordon_Batgirl
Natasha Romanoff – Raccoon City
Natasha followed after the girl not feeling comfortable leaving the girl alone especially since she recognized that look having suffered it more than once or twice. She kept a few steps away half expecting to be lead into a trap her eyes watching the girls every movement. “It’s okay. Cass, I’ll help you through this..” She offered a frown on her face as she offered the girl her hand. “You shouldn’t be using guns anyway.. You’re a little too young. Although I do thank you.” She offered trying to sound soothing. “Red Queen is a computer artificial intelligence in control of the facility. Kind of sounds like the evil queen in Alice in Wonderland doesn’t it..” Natasha added with a sigh. “I’m afraid you aren’t dreaming kid. Come on.. It isn’t safe to be out here alone.. There was an outbreak.. A chemical agent that managed to create those dogs. It resurrects dead bodies making them work only on the basic instinct to eat and satisfy hunger..”

Cass seemed to shrug off her feelings and clear her head for the moment as she listened to what Nat said. A moment later asking casually "So zombies? I've watched enough movies with my brother to put that together and..." she paused as she thought about the Red Queen remark and then her eyes went razor sharp as she looked right into Nat's eyes. What came next was a tone of voice that rivaled her fathers, which even though Nat wouldn't know it personally, would probably get the feeling that this girl had a far darker side to her than just that sweet little girl routine "Where is the Mad Hatter?"

Thump.... Thump..... Thump.
Useing his tongue to start the momentum, Deadpool had began to rock back and fourth in the glass case.
"This is fun. Like mouth arohbics, but without that Fonda chick telling us to squeeze, then release. Wait. What are we squeezing? Do I even have anything to squeeze?" He thought.
His eyes looked over to see his hand attempting escape as well. Seemed his body parts all reacted as the head did. Fasinating, now to get out.
Deadpool had to chukle inside his head. Silly Racoon City folf thought taking off his head would kill him. Silly little Red Queen wanted to take him apart and test him. Wade wondered what they got from his DNA.

Loki had been running for what seemed like miles. He was calling out to Thor but unable to get the man's attention. He didn't realize that he began to astro project.

Loki found himself in Asgard looking around for Thor.
"Brother!" Loki was thankfull he was virtually unnoticed in their home. He slipped past a guard and to his brother's chamber.
He may be a astro projection of his soul but he was able to move things. Strong enough to leave a message at least.
Loki found his brother's desk and a peice of paper and pen. He began to jot down.
Brother, Earth needs you. I am on my way to come and get you. Seeking Lady Jane now. Please be ready.
Love, Loki.

Loki glanced up in the mirror to see a familar face staring back at him. The bearded man smiled warmly at him. Loki had thought Stephen strange was dead. Before Loki could say a word he woke up.

Clint watched from a distance still. He paced a bit and kept an eye on the building. He spotted a person shambling toward the building whicj got his attention. Clint honed in on them to see they were missing an arm, and most of their face.
"Zombies, killer dogs and giant rednecks with chainsaws." He grumbled. "Not on my watch." Clint drew an arrow and in a split second put the person down through the head. He tapped his com. "We have to get together some place safe. We have scraglers appearing."

Damian had taken a seat at the computer and began to go through his father's files.
Daken however was in awe of where he was.
"This is the batcave!" Daken grinned wide. "I remember Batman when I first came to America." He looked at Damian. "He was your father?"
Damian said nothing.
Daken grumbled. "My father was a bigshot too. A huge hero." He walked over to the young man and leaned against teh chair.
"I have to set things straight and save the city.. I have to establish the League again." Damian said. "Contacting the Watch tower now."
The screen was fuzzy as Damian waited. It wasn't too long until a frantic and surprised young woman answered.
"Batman! Your alive?" The girl apeared on the screen. At first she looked confused, then even more overjoyed. "DAMIAN!" Lian began to cry tears of toy. 'I.. I thought you were dead." She sobed.

"I was. How many are left in the watchtower?" He asked. Getting straight to busness. He didn't have time to be sentamental. Not even for her.
Lian cleared her throat. "Myself, The Creeper, " She rolled her eyes at that one. He must be annoying her again. "And a handfull of others. Not many of the power hitters but, ya know.' She shrugged.

Damian nodded. "Do you have transport down to Earth?"

"We do but it only fits 3. Maybe enough fuel for one trip."

"I'll see what I can get running from father's collection. Might take a while though. Send me 3 of your finests. Or rather, 2 of your finests and you." He smirked.

Lian blushed. "I can't wait to see you again Dami." She smiled.

Damian killed the connection and recived a buddy punch to the arm by Daken.
"You dog you!" He laughed. "She's cute. Mixed like me. You two go way back?"

Damian groaned. "She's a great warrior and friend." Damian got up to see if his father still had the space craft. He could at least start getting the others out of teh Watchtower.

Natasha Romanoff – Raccoon City
The former assassin couldn’t help but allow the small formation of a smile grace her lips as the girl spoke. “Well.. Barton loves or rather used to love those movies.” She offered with a soft sigh as she noticed the girl’s own eyes narrow at the mention of the Red Queen. She would have to explain what she was now that Cass seemed intent on finding the Mad Hatter. “The Artifical Intelegence that is incharge of running this facility is named Red Queen. I believe she was made in the likeness of the programmers daughter.” She offered with a half shrug as she heard what had to be the faint sounds of Arrows blasting through skulls. She reached for the girl’s arm. It wasn’t in any way to appear aggressive or hostile it was more out of comfort and concern. Clint’s voice over the comm calming her a bit as she glanced at Cass before opening her comm line. “And where would we be safe to meet up?” Her voice would offer smoothly over the line.

Lois Lane – National Park
Sitting in the front seat in silence was far more enjoyable than she had expected. It was different and you didn’t have to worry about someone sneaking up on you to steal whatever rations they gave you. She had been watching the animals scurry about as she sunk further into the seat glancing at the sleeping figure through the rearview mirror. Her eyes knitting together for a moment as she ran a hand through her hair. It was the movement he made that made her quickly turn in her seat and rest a hand on his shoulder. “Shhh.. You’re okay. Loki take a few deep breaths.”

Selina Kyle – Gotham City/ Arkham City
The cave itself had seen far many better days and now she couldn’t help but feel empty. With cat like grace and poise she had managed to elude every intruder and keep far from sight using the cave’s dangerous natural traps as an advantage. She had been there when Pennyworth was shot and left to die. The Butler had pushed her into the abyss knowing that she would survive and find a way to press forward.

Blue eyes watched as Damien and Daken utilized the computer. At least she never took up an oath since it always found a way to cramp her style. She had killed at least once in the past and nearly killed again but only resisted the urge in Bruce’s company. Raising the handgun and aiming it at the back of one of their heads she had missed what the communication was about but she wasn’t in a trusting mood. “Turn around hands in the air..” She growled only to hear a female voice over the come in her ear.

Barbara Gordon-– Gotham City/ Arkham City ((Locked Storage Unit Batcave))
“Who is there with you?” Asked a voice.

Emma Frost: Arkham City

Emma was slightly put off: she usually knew what people wanted or were trying to hide, without much effort on her part, however this clown was hard to read. Her emotions', however stayed inside and rarely made it to the surface, if they ever did they were quickly shoved back down: Emma prized herself on the control she had gained over the years'. The twisted clown probably thought he had some sort of an advantage over her and he could continue thinking that as far as she was concerned: better not to tick off the Mayor, this was his city after all, for now. The Joker may know what a telepath was, he may even had met others', however there were none that matched her power and if he was planning on messing with her… well, she would just have to show him. Emma watched him her posture and facial expression very controlled and casual.

She heard voices' outside the office as she waited for Joker's reply. Emma watched as a man stumbled into the office: his face was dirty and sweaty, his tone urgent and…terrified. This whole city was crawling with danger, although it was mostly the thugs', like this one, that ran the streets' under the Joker's watchful and demented eye: they already had one of the creepiest Mayors' she had run across so, what had startled the man enough for him to burst in, when he knew there was a meeting taking place? A bat? It only took a second for Emma to peer into the man's mind and see a dark figure dressed as a giant bat. Well, that was something she did not see everyday and she had seen a lot. Emma listened quietly as the man went on to a Joker who was looking less pleased by the second.

When the Joker shot the man Emma was slightly startled, apparently this guy had no problem shooting the messenger and then he…. laughed? This was not a good place to be, it appeared to be a 'dead no matter what you do' type place: where the streets' were hard and the man in charge was even harder. The Joker than apologized to her for shooting the man with her present: he was insane, not just slightly crazy as she had suspected from her first glimpse into the chaos of his mind, a mind she would not want to visit again. "I assure you Mister Joker, I have seen worse", she kept her eyes' on him, since she did not care for the alternative. Hunt down the fake bat? An initiation job? Interesting. "Very well", she answered and stood up. "Pleasure doing business with you". the henchman he called Gord looked just as scared as the man now laying limply on the floor had minutes' ago, however his tune changed slightly when Emma motioned him to follow. The were really scared of a man in a bat costume? He may be just as crazy as the Joker this city called Mayor. The Joker seemed very upset about the bat being back and to want him found as soon as possible. The clown, demented as he appeared, seemed to know she was more than a simple cook and Emma was not one to disappoint. The door closed after her and she started planning her next move. She was curious about this 'bat' that seemed to strike terror into the hearts' of this city's criminals'.

Damian heard her voice and his heart skipped a beat. He stood and turned to face the woman he once called his mother. He couldn't help but feel relived to see her. Then came a familar voice over the com. He felt tears streaming down his cheeks.
"Mother.... It's.. Me Damian.. Barbra your alive too?" Damian reached up to wipe away the tears. It was almost too much at once. His mother and the woman he considered a sister both alive.

Daken glared at the woman and then at Damian. "I thought I smelled someone down here..Hard to tell with all this stagnate water around us." He grunted.

One arm, a head and on their way to the torso. The glass lay shattered on the floor but Deadpool was determained to put himself back together while resiteing Humpty Dumpty which lead into the Humpty dance song, which lead into Sirm Mix a lot's big butts.

Loki felt her hand on his shoulder as he recalled where he was. He took a deep breath.
"My old mentore... I belive him to be alive still. I thought he was passed." Loki sat up and caught his breath. "I left a message for my brother. I pray he gets it." He placed his hand over Lois' hand and looked up at her. "Thank you."

Selina Kyle – Gotham City/ Arkham City
The feline fatal lowered the weapon the gun slipping from her hand falling to the ground it was empty so it wouldn’t discharge it was just her way of pulling a bluff as she rushed her kitten. “Damien!” Her eyes filled with tears as she pulled the now young man into a tight hug against her as she held him tightly. The cat cast Daken a look. "I'm good at what I do.. I must be getting rusty if you had a slight suspicion."

Barbara Gordon-– Gotham City/ Arkham City ((Locked Storage Unit Batcave))
“Damien?” Barbara’s voice echoed over the communicator as she pounded against the steel of the door half annoyed that the wound to her shoulder might reopen but wanting to get outside. “Help Selina get me out of here. Whoever hit the cave took everything except the stuff inside this room. “

Lois Lane – National Park
Lois quickly removed her hand as soon as he followed instructions before shifting back into a much more comfortable position in the front seat. She listened something she had choose to learn how to do more often than blindly doing things. “Well that’s good then right?” She asked with a half smile. “We might have a little more help in getting your Brother here.” She added optimistically. She titled her head to the side as she felt her face flush before looking off into the distance. “I have a feeling he did get it and it’s only a matter of time.” She offered before waving her hand at him. “No need to thank me.. We just started out on this odd ball journey..”

Damian walked over to the lock panel and looked it over. "Father and his paranoia." He couldn't help the soft smile. He missed him deeply. Him and tim, and d**k and even Jason. "I'll have you out in a bit Gordon." Damian promised. He began to work his magic on the panels and needed focus to do so. He had taken the cover off with a multi tool and began to look over the wires. He had taken this very lock apart once when he was 10.

Daken looked the woman up and down. "Damn.. Damian, your mon's a milf." He smirked. "Daken Akihiro." He held out his hand and openly eyed the woman.
If Damian were paying attention he would either flip out on Daken, or smirk knowing she could kick the man's a** easily.

Loki streched his muscles and looked at the time on his watch. "I can take this shift. Get some rest." He smiled. 'Are you even tired yet?" He asked her.

Selina Kyle – Gotham City/ Arkham City
“He had his reasons for it Kitten.” Selina purred as she moved behind her son. Her eyes watching him as he worked on the lock. “Damn.. I should have removed the panel.” She hissed as she crossed her arms and turned around to meet her son’s ally. Her eyes narrowed on him as she rolled her eyes. “You sound like his older brothers.” She offered with a sigh before shaking his hand with her own. “Selina Kyle.”

Barbara Gordon-– Gotham City/ Arkham City ((Locked Storage Unit Batcave))
“You better hurry on up. I think I might have found the extra generators for the cave in this mess.” She offered from behind the steel. At least the little energy that remained in her flashlight had aided her in treating her arm and finding one of the med kits in the dark to treat herself. With a soft sigh she leaned against the wall closing her eyes she could only imagine what it was like outside.

Lois Lane – National Park
Lois sighed as she yawned loudly it was going to hinder her protest of saying she was perfectly fine with staying up for a few more hours. “I’m fine. Maybe I’ll go to bed in an hour..” She offered stretching in the seat.
