Those pesky poms had evaded her thus far, but Belladonna was not only determined to catch one, she was committed. Which was about the same thing as determined, only now it meant that she was kind of in it for the long haul and was going to give up, even if she wanted to. Because being committed meant she couldn't because it was a duty and--
"Get back here!!" She told one that raced by in her sternest voice as she darted after it. Surprisingly, the pom listened!
With a triumphant little shout of glee the witch snatched up the pom, gave it a good pet to show she wasn't mad at it and then proceeded to do a little dance. Ha! Being committed really did pay off!

Okay, so the first game was bust. Well, there were still all these poms running around....maybe she could catch one this time...But before she could turn to start chasing them, one ran right into her! Maggie grabbed a hold of it before it could gather it's wits and run off again. "AHA! GOTCHA!"

Just as Gene was about to head off to another booth, the same Behemoth Pom from before decided to attack her from the front. Bad move on his part. Gene's body acted quickly, arms embracing the mini into a near lung-crushing embrace. The Pom decided to repay the bear hug with a few nasty bites.
Lovely.

Nuk was bewildered, but intrigued by the tiny minipet who looked exceptionally pissed off about the whole situation. In fact, the skinwalker took a good few minutes to just stand in front of the canid looking minipet and stare at it, head cocked to one side, making a whole range of faces at it. At first it was merely curiousity; eyebrows furrowed a bit, amber eyes met the little fuzzy creature's, as if trying to discern what it was, because he was pretty sure it wasn't a true minipet. Next came the eyebrow quirk, one eyebrow lifted in curiosity, followed closely by the second in an almost skeptical surprise. And that's when he just got plain silly. Grinning a toothy grin, he arched his back an growled at the thing, barking a few times to try to scare it off before finally giving up the game and ruffling the 'minipet' on the head.

After his overwhelming victory in the scrags race, the skinwalker was feeling overconfident. Snapping his pelt at his shoulders, he rolled his neck, morphing into his black-wolf form. This was going to be easy. Crouching low, Nuk growled deep in the back of his throat, muscles coiling beneath black fur as he kicked off the snow, charging after the little thing, his maw curled in a sadistic grin.
Eeeexcept then the creature turned sharply. And he realized he was on a patch of ice.
An oh jack that was a snowbank... OH JACK HE COULDN'T STOP!
There was a loud POOF, and the black form descended into the mountain of snow, a little cloud of snowflakes falling slowly back to earth.

Unfortunately for Kyrie, it didn't really matter that she chose to stay passive, because suddenly poms. Poms everywhere.
She flailed and tried to get out of the way, but the second her feet glanced off the ice she was rolling into the nearest snowbank like a bowling ball to pins. @A@ Poms were supposed to be cute and fuzzy and not lethal. Wryyyyyyy.
And now her clothes were all soggy and cold and wryyyyyyyy.

Well, whenever he wasn't in the presence of his sister, at least.
Together though, the two were so competitive that their victories were counted over even the smallest things, like who could toss Jay the furthest - which yes, they had tried. More than once. So, of course, he was not going to be bested by his sister at this booth, no matter the cost. Giving an indignant flap of tawny wings, the Executioner approached the booth again, watching tails and ears darting every which way --
But the only ones he saw around were the leviatha's he seemed to continuously catch, and without a want or need for anymore of them, the predator settled back and huffed.
Later, maybe, his luck would change. Maybe. Syusaki just makin' posts here for the day <3 kuumeii just makin' posts here for the day <3

Well, at least he didn't slip this time, even if all the pom's evaded his grasp. Grumbling at his lack of concentration - he was not about to blame it on lack of skill! - the Executioner sat back in the snow and --

Swiping it up from the small pile of white, Senga blew crisp snowflakes away from its shiny surface and examined it in mild interest. It wasn't anything much of worth, but... well.
