“alex likes popularity, you’d get here there. David would screw anything with a good fasion sense and a d**k, and Jenifer she might very well have the hots for you if she ever came home. You’re her type, emotionally damaged sexy rich guy.” he replied, wondering what that meant about him as he could be classified as having the hots for tony too… though he wasnt really his type. Well bruce didnt really have a type… he had only had one boyfriend who wasnt a boyfriend persay… more like… bruce didnt even really want to think about how that went all wrong. “so yeah… id advise you to stay in here if you dont want to wear any pants, im the least likely to try and get you out of whatever clothing you still have on.”
"Hm... that's too bad..." Tony wondered, realizing a split second later that he'd said that out loud. He coughed, switching topics, "Though I'm not rich. My dad is, and I just happen to benefit," he made clear. "I, um... well, I should get my pants back on," he said hastily, jumping out of bed and grabbing the denim off the floor to pull it over his legs.

Bruce sat there perplexed a moment. surely tony hadnt actually meant that… sure he had been joking… even slightly flirtatious but that was… that seemed different. He wasnt all cocky…he … he looked embaressed. Bruce glanced up at him…”well, i did try to get your cloths off and look how well that turned out for me. Might as well give someone else a try.” he said once his head was back in a place where he could brush it off… for now at least.
"Don't take it personally, I haven't let anyone see... all of me... since it happened," he said, not specifying what 'it' was. Which was true. The times he /had/ gotten intimate, he'd kept his top half covered. And he'd gotten a pass on communal showers after P.E. for the rest of high school. Tony buttoned his pants and found his socks, slipping those on as well, hopping up and down on one foot to do it. He almost nearly tipped forward and fell on his face in the process. "How's uh... your rib doing, by the way? I haven't heard you complain about it at all in awhile," he offered Bruce a smile.

bruce just frowned a bit… he knew what that was like, he hid himself from everyone… half the reason he avoided gym which seriously brought down his gpa. but he didnt like people seeing the ugly scars that covered his body… from the accident, from before the accident. “medicine works wonders.” he mumbled with a frown, he was being so… pushy today and he didnt know what was wrong with him. “i, um…” he sighed not knowing exactly how to say what he wanted to say. “i, dont usually let people… not that anyone usualy wants to…” he frowned, burring his forhead in his hand. he let out his breath. “probably only been two people, and one i did not give permission to and the other… was this morning.” he frowned, “dont like my scars.” he finally finished hoping tony was smart enough to piece together the garbage he had just put together.
When he'd seen Bruce earlier that day, it had been from across the room, and the distance, combined with the dim light of the early morning, he hadn't been able to see anything at detailed as scars. His eyebrows lifted somewhat in surprise. "You have scars? I never noticed," he admitted, sitting on the edge of the bed. Wincing, he asked, "Are they bad?"

He frowned, “they’re not good.” he mumbled sadly, “most of them are from the accident, you know… lab blew up you’re bound to get a few scratches… or you know… glass embedded in your skin.” he said frowning, “there are a few from before the accident… and a few from after.” he said wincing at the most recent. “ive got my fair share.” he said twiddeling his thumbs awkwardly, he had ugly scars covering his whole entire body and he just wanted them to go away. wanted, to be normal… and he couldnt even pretend. Couldnt pretend that he was normal because his outside was as damaged as his insides.
Tony didn't know what to say-- the kid sounded so forlorn-- so he leaned over and reached an arm around him to hug him sideways. "You and me... we're both kinda ******** up, aren't we?" he said with a masked chuckle, trying to laugh to cover up the pain.

Bruce just let his head flop to the side, settling itself on tony’s shoulder. He wasnt even worried about it being socially acceptable at the moment. It felt right, and he didnt even care. He frowned, “yeah, i guess we are.” he mumbled wanting to curl up in ball and not do anything again… ever. He sighed, he had days like this he was just hoping today wouldnt be one of them.
Tony closed his eyes when he felt Bruce's head on his shoulder, mind slipping back to the month he'd spent in a dark cave, without any hope of rescue. But he'd lived through the experience, just as Bruce had lived through his... in that moment, he felt the desire to be strong, for both of them. He reached over and took the other teen's hand, entwining their fingers. "So we're ******** up, who cares?" he said, "I mean, big deal, so what? There's a lot more to life than feeling sorry for ourselves. Right?" he asked his friend, seeking confirmation.

Bruce smiled a little when tony laced their fingers together, he didnt even really know what to say, he knew there was more to life. But he had realized, when he was being upset… he got to cuddle more. He knew it was wrong to be sad just so he could be cuddled… but he really liked being cuddled. “i…” bruce sighed… he didnt know what to say… “I just want to sit here,” he said with a small frown, “is that okay?”
"Whatever you need, bookworm," Tony said affectionately, squeezing Bruce's hand. "I'm here for ya. Hell, we can cuddle the rest of the evening, if you want," he laughed, pressing his nose into the other boy's mussy hair. "Did I mention you smell good? Cuz you smell really good." Okay, now he was rambling, but he did that whenever he got anxious or excited or... well, a lot of things resulted in rambling.

Bruce smiled, buring his head closer into tony. Sighing contentedly, ” Blueberry.” he replied simply, stating the kind of shampoo he had used most recently, it was alex’s but he had run out of his own… and if he was being honest he really liked the smell. He smiled as they sat there, in that kind of silence that really wasnt too uncomfortable. He didnt really know how tony was being quiet for this long but part of him was thankful. He lifted his head after a little bit, “is this normal.” he asked deciding that he would probably do well to find out from someone who wasnt alex. If it wasnt normal… he didnt want alex to freak out and get all the wrong assumptions. Which he was pretty sire they had crossed some sort of normal line a while back… maybe at the cuddeling on the couch… or the hand holding… or the strip poker. He didnt know where but for some reason he felt they had crossed it.
No wonder he liked the smell. Blueberry was his favorite, right after strawberry. Raspberry wasn't half bad either. His mind kept busy thinking about fruit, which was pretty much the only thing keeping his mouth from spouting off for the next few minutes. "Is what normal?" Tony asked.

“this…” he said gesturing to them, holding up their twined hands for emphasis. “like if one of the boys on the football team were to walk into this room at this moment would they break my other rib, or ask to play strip poker? Because i havent done this whole… friendship thing before… and well… the only friend ive had apparently i crossed some boundries without even realizing it. So i just… wanted to know. Is this… normal…” he asked still completly confused as to what was and was not friendly behavior, but he was pretty sure… from all the movies he had watched, that this was a bit past friendly behavior… but then again they were sad… and the rules in movies seemed to be different when people were sad. They were more touchy, and feely… and bruce just wanted to clarify.
"Honestly?" Tony said rhetorically, gazing at Bruce, "I don't know. I'm just winging it." He scratched his head with his free hand momentarily before putting it back around Bruce-- it felt good, and he didn't question it much further than that. "I've never been friends with someone gay before... I guess I thought maybe I should treat you more like I would a girl friend? N-not a girlfriend," he quickly made sure to expound, "but a friend-who-is-a-girl sort of thing." He bit his lip, sensing he might be blushing a tad.

Bruce glanced up a moment, “you have girl_friends” he said… okay maybe that was judgemental but he hadnt seen tony with a girl he hadnt been flirting with or kissing… you know.. ever.
Tony shifted at the accusation. "There's a first time for everything?" he offered sheepishly.

“cept im not a girl.” bruce replied, “so.. guess that might have to wait and you’ll have to have another boyfriend.” he said quickly not really thinking. “i mean boy… friend. A friend thats a boy.”
Tony chuckled. "Yeah, I guess so. A friend that's a boy who holds my hand and cuddles with me and makes me watch hours of his favorite show and makes me awesome grilled cheese sandwiches," he added on, smirking as he knuckled Bruce's head.

Bruce smirked, “i guess i sound a bit more like a girlfriend.” he said laughing, “i mean, i think. wouldnt know. never had one.” he said flopping his head down into tony’s lap. “or a boyfriend but neither of us would know… cause neither of us have had one of those.”
"See? I told you," Tony said, sticking out his tongue. But then Bruce's head came to rest in his lap, putting him in the position he'd put Bruce into just a couple hours earlier. He licked his lips and didn't resist the first urge that came to him-- to sift his fingers through the curly brown hair. "There's a first time for everything..." he murmured softly, but not quite loud enough for the other teen to hear.

Bruce’s stomach flipped, lodging itself in his chest. it might have been quiet and he didnt really think he was meant to hear it, but he had. He felt his face burn up and his face tinged red. “i, um…” he stopped not really knowing what he had intended to say. “you’re um… joking right?” he asked staring up at tony with wide eyes. Not sure exactly what answer he wanted.
Tony froze mid-stroke through the soft hair. "I, um... no?" he got out-- another thing to keep in mind, Bruce had excellent ears. "U-unless, you uh... wanted me to be joking... Did you?" he asked, biting down on his lip.

Bruce furrowed his brow, “um…no. I mean, not really…” he frowned, “I dont know, if you had asked me yesterday i would have said yes, i mean… i guess if you had asked me yesterday i wouldn’t have even given a second thought to if you were kidding or not.” he said frowning, “im scared.” he admitted sadly, “im scared and im broken and i dont want to hurt you.” He said not daring to look at tony, “but all that said, I dont want you to be joking, not really…”
The amount of awkwardness Bruce was displaying was frankly adorable. "Well, I wasn't joking," he said firmly, placing a hand down on kid's chest. "Though it really would be a first..." he wondered aloud-- no one at school would see it coming, what with the number of girls he dated. But he'd always been curious.

“yeah well me too.” he replied, he had a first kiss… but not a first date. Never had one of those… and he didnt even want to count the kiss… kisses. He hadnt liked them. He placed his hand over tony’s on his chest attempting to distract himself. Trying to figure out exactly what they were dancing around here. Bruce didnt really do well with abstract. he was a scientist, or would be. He did well with facts, he started to list them off in his head. 1. this seemed like more than friendship. 2. He liked tony. 3. he thought tony was flirting with him. 4. tony did touch him quite a lot. 5. he was smiling, not frowning… He still wasnt positive… “so….” he prompted hoping to get an answer of what was happening.
Tony looked down at Bruce's hand on top of his. He was an engineer, or was planning to be, and that meant he liked to experiment, but he'd never let himself in this particular... 'field'... if you could call it that. "Hey, could I, um, try something?" he asked the other teen, hoping he'd say yes.

“guess it kindof depends on the something” bruce replied cautiously. He was really hoping this wasn’t the part where tony threw him across his room and told him he was worthless. he had had that happen before. everything was fine… great even and then something just happened. something snapped and he was being hurtled across a room. He was hoping something… well he was hoping something was anything that wasnt painful.
"Nothing bad... it'll only take a sec, I promise," Tony said, scratching at his stomach nervously. He'd chickened out once, he wouldn't again.
