"I am not hot, or bothered," Senga said when Shaheen commented, his wings fluffing indignantly. "I am perfectly fine." But not really. The young Executioner glanced at the chieftain, the heat from his cheeks draining as he came back down from the threat of challenge. For now, at least. "But the next time I visit your booth, I will not get a bucket of water." In fact, he was rather determined to get anything but that.
Sighing, he turned his eyes back to Jay and Iyari, and knowing both of them had probably watched the entire showdown, bared his fangs just a bit. "Don't say a word."

She blinked when only the pelt was dangling in her hands. “What…?” It was odd to see the executioner without his hood. Jay had nearly forgotten the tawny color of his hair. “It has a lot of merits, Senga. A lot of merits,” she huffed.
It would have been a lie to say Jay hadn’t been paying attention to Soren and Senga. If Soren and Senga had been stuck on a skellyvision, she would have been standing dangerously close to the screen. It wouldn’t have been surprising if her eyes were literally touching the screen, eyesight be damned. The bird stared on with wide eyes while her hands tightly clutched Iyari’s arm. Occasionally she would grip it tighter and tug as if to say “IYARI LOOK OH JACK LOOK WHAT THEY’RE DOING LOOK LOOK.”
As her mouth open and closed she made gasping noises that sounded like someone rasping for air or water. Although, the look on her face suggested the opposite.
(⊙ヮ⊙)
“Iyari,” she began, “I’m sorry, but if I can keep watching things like this I don’t think I can keep my promise at the moment.” Then she paused. “But I admit I feel a bit jealous.” Possessive and territorial might have been the better word for it. Jay pecked Iyari on the cheek to make herself feel better. Blehhh take that stupid Senga.

There was no noise nor mercy from the soldier as she watched Senga finally take out some of his anger back to Jay. It was well deserved - as long as he didn't go overboard. "Easy Senga." She said in a whisper as he backed off.
Taking her eyes off of him and fluffing her hair back to its former glory she frowned. "I allowed Jay her fun. The point is fun, yes? Besides, there is no affection behind such-" Her words trailed off as she heard Senga jump to the booth. "Hm?" Bewildered eyes watched in silence as her brother unleashed upon the Conquest horseman.
It was a soldier's silence - poised and ready - watching in pride... until the battle took a rather odd turn. "...." There was a vice on her arm cutting off the circulation, but she couldn't remove her eyes. "Oh Senga." She said with a disappointed sigh. They had both learned a tactic of battle, the old principle of fighting fire with fire - but this was neither the time or the place.
There was a tight clench in her fists, but this was his fight - if you could even call public displays of angst a fight.
Soon it was over and there was nothing to show for it. Only Jay's words pulled her out of a vacant stare. "Hm?" Daggers practically flew from her gaze as Jay mentioned her promise. "Jaida-" A pause.
"Jealous?"
Iyari was thrown off a little, but affection from Jay was nothing new, even if it had gone from a hug to a peck on the cheek. At heart they were friends and that was what mattered.
Now how on earth were they going to come back from this. "Senga." Darkness flooded over her expression and she tore herself from Jay's grip to approach her brother. A leap into the air and she had landed next to him, flipping up a wing to slap the back of his head.
Iyari never needed to say anything to get her point across, after all.

Having seen the booth from afar and deciding to stay away, Poke eventually decided to come over and see what the fuss was all about. Instead, she found a minipet whom was in place of one of the booth owners. Cuiously, she looked at the sign that explained what the horsemen game was about...
And abruptly raged

Tybalt, after all that had happened, still did not trust the horsemen. However, he had heard a great deal about this booth and for curiosities sake, couldn't help himself when checking it out. Not for the kisses however. Ick! He could care less about kisses. Charms, on the other hand. Charms always interested the black dog.
Inching towards Lifen's section of the booth, he gingerly reached into the box and pulled a charm out and secretly hoped for the dog charm. Alas it was the dragon. Haze would be so amused.
"Are trading charms allowed?" He asked and held the dragon charm out for the horsewoman to see.Nerpin Asking to trade for IC reasons >8D

Freya returned just to look at the pretty minipet, bending down to say hello to it. It was as if the booth had decided to be completely different for a bit.. and putting a minipet in charge was always a plus! Except this minipet just stared at her, and didn't care that she was happy to see it. Nor did it give her anything for her trouble. After a long staring contest, she had to walk away. It was getting kind of creepy..

Next.

Shaheen was getting restless, and ever since her conversation with Lan her mind kept wandering back to this particular booth. She had said that it was simply for profit, nothing more, and that Soren did not find enjoyment in it whatsoever, and Shaheen found that in the end, she believed her. Still, she was curious, and while she had visited the booth more then once that day, she had done nothing to show her support towards this end. Well, that was about to change. She shouldn't be seen shunning any of her fellow horsemen, after all, or playing favorites.
And so, here she was, swooping down towards the booth shortly after the conquest noble and the death guardian had left her own booth, striding to the front of the line that was already beginning to form now that the main attraction had made his reappearance.
She glanced down to the jar, read the label, arched an eyebrow, then looked at the man sitting behind the booth.
Oh right, she was supposed to pay, wasn't she? Well, that seemed awfully silly, considering a portion of it would go towards the school, but by sitting in her pocket belonged solely to the clans. Well, whatever, rules were rules. She deposited a silver seed in the jar, then waited, expectantly for what was to come.
She didn't lean forward, she didn't close her eyes. She expected that she would just receive what she had coming to her and that would be that. Mission accomplished. He was leaning forward, reaching a hand out towards her, and she frowned. Was he trying to draw her in closer towards him?
And suddenly, she was being pat on the top of the head, before he leaned back and away from her once more. Wait....Waaaaaaait, that was it? He would kiss students, students, all day long, and all she received was a pat on the head.....
No words, just glowering golden eyes as she crossed arms under her chest. If anybody deserved a very large rack award, it was her.

Quote: 42. Soren seems to be getting bored when you approach. He reaches up and dabs…whipped cream? on the corner of your mouth before leaning forward and licking it off. As you walk away you can hear him getting a lecture from a petite horsewoman. Apparently giving away whipped cream is a waste of profits. Alice came back to the booth after sometime, and noticed that Soren was back from wherever he was. She sighed. Why do I feel like something odd is going to happen this time around? she thought as she walked to the back of the line for the booth. Suddenly the thought of what had happened after seeing him last time started to make her worry. What if this was the bad feeling? What if I get embarrassed in front of him again? She started to worry, and noticed that when she came to the front of the line, she didn't say anything. She was over thinking, and didn't speak. Soren came closer to her, and dabbed something white on the side of her mouth. She licked it slightly. Whipped cream? Why did he- but her thought was cut off after noticing that he was licking it off her face. She felt like something was happening to her, but what she couldn't point out. Her kept a straight face until he finished wiping the whipped cream off of her face. She soon turned around and walked away, hearing him and the other horsewoman talking about wasting whipped cream and profit.

Alistaire was still too focused on the actual mechanics of the booth and the appearances of its occupants to actually notice the kiss blown to him.

Lan settled back in her booth, hoping Invictus might not feel the need to remind her of her shame and dishonor.
She did see Shaheen try to kiss Soren.
Lan might have chuckled a bit to herself.

Soren had so far successfully avoided real kisses back at the booth. He was fairly pleased with this turn of events. But now that Lan was back he had mentioned getting his fortune read, so he drank his tea before sliding the cup over.
He looked expectantly at her. This had better be good.

One nice thing about working in the same booth is that she hardly had to move in order to read the fortune for Soren. She did have to crane her neck up slightly. Oh Soren, why so tall? One day she'd hit the final growth spurt. Until then, she'd be short. To you and Mengyao. Who would always remind her of such things.
Still, swirling the tea leaves in the cup, she held out the scroll, a smirk almost reaching her lips. "Submission, Wisdom, Victory and Strength. It's not necessarily a bad combination. The symbol of your own clan appeared, so I would add that perhaps you'll have a bit of luck or fortune in your work. Wisdom is rather straightforward as for the dog...."
Gold eyes looked at him, bland. "It also might mean that certain colts are best left alone. Or, that you might be placed under a priestess sometime soon? Fortunes are not meant to be clear, but, I try."

Kemnebi had been avoiding this booth for most of the festival. She knew it had to do with what had happened with the four clans. Still, every other clans member she had met over this festival had seemed polite and like any other student. That and getting her fortune read was kind of a huge draw. Hesitantly approaching the horsewoman that was sitting away from the other two, Nebi smiled at her before reaching in and taking a charm. The cat-ghoul pulled out...the cat charm. Wow, what luck, that had to mean something, right? Looking up she caught the horsewoman frowning slightly, but all she says is that Kemnebi has strangely astute luck.
