She chewed on her lip. He wanted to hear her sing, but she was just so damn shy. And she knew she wasn't half as good as most of the people in this club. At least she doubted she was. She glanced once again at Erik before slipping her hand from his grasp and scurrying over to the piano. She was terrified but she also wanted to do this. It was very conflicting... like her life in general had been recently. She glanced once more at Erik before setting her fingers to the keys and singing. She closed her eyes and let the music absorb her. She refused to think about all the people watching her. The song made her think about her family, especially Gracie and Elli. They needed her more than anyone could see. She had been strong for them all summer long. She blinked open her eyes as the last note rang out and looked around the room. She noticed everyone watching her and slipped away from the piano and back to Erik's side, a blush on her face. She pulled her knees to her chest and blinked at him in wonder. She didn't have an... angelic voice. If anything she was just...average. Shy on the other hand, was a perfect word to describe her. She shrugged and looked over at him, trying hard to will the blush off of her cheeks. She had heard him clapping loudly the entirety of her awkward run back to his side. "You're to sweet to me...." She whispered as she reached out her hand to take his once again. He was probably just saying that because he was her... boyfriend and it was his job... or maybe he really meant it. Elli always said she was fantastic at anything musical but she had a hard time believe it. "Do you really mean it Erik?"

She quickly leaned forward and pecked him. She continued smiling at him, trying hard not to blush when he said he got lost in her eyes. She squeezed his hand and glanced over when Kat complimented her then announced the end of the meeting. "I guess we should go... You wanna go somewhere?" Ver asked, smiling shyly at Erik, a light pink still dusting her cheeks.

♫ Dating: Samuel Meridith.  Caitlin slipped back into the room feeling slightly better. She had splashed water on her face, it seemed to have helped.
