Ofelia had probably never been happier to see Allan and Mr. Death guy (who was not macking on Dr. Creepy - this was good ) then she was at that moment, but she figured there would be times in her life when seeing them would certainly make her happier than she was now. Not that she was ever upset to see Allan because well, as her group head she was fond of him no matter what.

She was still trying to make heads and tails of what happened to the others who had been ahead of them all, trying their best to burst the shield, and at their lava deaths and then their rebirths because the whole lava thing had been an illusion she could only scratch her head and wonder what came next. Everyone was dropping like flies, she could try and help them back up, but there was also that whole thought of she could get to the exit and hold the exit open for anyone?

Would that work better? She wasn't built for defense, she wasn't built for. .. okay, she'd been over that in her head many a time and dammit it was just time for her to go. If anyone caught her eye or need as she went then she could totally try and help at that point in time but until then? She was gonna book it the hell out.

And book it the hell out she did, because not only did she get out of where she was at the speed of light the very next thing she was aware of was that she was standing at the exit where she had been commanded to go. Normally she had trouble getting from one end of her room to another without getting lost so to reach the exit on her first try was nothing short of amazing. It felt awesome to be there, she could easily slip out if she needed to, but something told her to pause and wait. If a group of horsemen came would she need to fight off the ponies?

She'd wait and see for now, but at the very least she wasn't the first one there, right? Ofelia was pretty sure she saw a familiar Brit make his way up just fine. . . .

Sasha was more than ready to get out. She had no idea how long she'd been in captivity - she had no idea how long they'd been tortured. The hours had all blended together into a crazed blur of confusion - and so when she had the opportunity, she darted away from Jerry, frantic and crazed and ready to get the ******** out.

Home, home, home. She was so close that she could taste it, and she'd never wanted anything more in her entire life.

"No!" The lava surged and Bix's hand became subjected to the lava, just his hand, as it rested on Ceres shoulder. He howled in pain until suddenly it was over. He'd barely seen those in front of him become engulfed due to his own shock but he flexed his hand, marvelling at the lingering sting, the phantom memory as the illusion passed.

"We move out now!"

The voice cut through the fray and the albino was bustled, hustled and pushed. "C'mon Ceres.." She looked in bad shape, dazed and weak, and attempted to grab a hold of her and help her out.

The mass exodus was intense, Bix was torn from anyone familiar and pushed out of the group, tripping on a rock and splaying on the ground. This was clearly not the exit.

His hand was killing him.

Seeing their defenses go down, Deryk's face paled. This was bad. This was very. Very bad. And it indeed, was pretty damn horrible as Medea took control once more. Thankfully, the Division leads came to the rescue.

The bad news? The roof was coming down.

He didn't need to be told twice to start moving. The hunter got moving, trying to go as quickly as he could. This wasn't so easy when his leg was killing him. He was hobbling the entire way. Thankfully, he didn't spy anyone that needed to be carried. He wasn't sure if he could pick anyone up and run right now.

It felt good to be a moonie for a second there. Protect some people here... not letting people die.... yeah life was great.

Until she saw the Lava ball coming right at them. Worse even? She felt the hand that was on her shoulder pull away, and even heard the hiss of pain before nothing registered anymore. Her whole body felt like it was getting attacked with fire ants... her skin literally melting off her bones. Thankfully, she 'died' in this before she felt much more.

Though she was not in the 'void' for long... because she was soon back, and NOT dead, thank god.

She just felt like s**t.

Wheezing some, she noticed all the other hunters fleeing and turned to do so as well. She did not get super far.

Clerise was pretty glad she had come in late to the party. Like, real late, behind everyone and in the wrong place kind of late.

Because that lava looked like it was ******** awful, and the smell of burnt flesh was overpowering, of ash, of smok--

"Come on," she murmured to Otto, looking around for Sasha-- no dice.

"Let's ********' scram." She ran down the halls, wishing she could find the exit. They looked like they were on the set out of a gladiator movie-- but no exit in sight. Not yet.

"Go- GO!" Jerry snarled, practically shoving Sasha forward as hell broke loose. Ignore the pain, ignore the lava, it wasn't real, it was just another illusion...

He moved to follow the others, roar ready in a burst of green light in his arms when another illusion stopped him- Horsemen, horsemen everywhere, pain shot up from his knee as he staggered, the weight of his cannon sending him crashing in the debris and just barely missed getting trampled.

Otto's eyes widened to saucers at yet another illusion. People burning and dying like he was in the pit of Hell. It came as no surprise that the illusion gave way. Still, that heat had felt so real, just like all illusions before it. It always felt real.

The moment Allan gave them a means of escape, Otto booked it. He was unsteady at first, but his training as a Death trainee kicked in well enough. Enough to gte him as far as the second Colosseum.

Clerise was still nearby.

This was getting frustrating. The Hunters kept messing everything up! And what was that? Tseng heard a shout that the lair was going to collapse. Well. If this place was coming down, he was going to try and make sure they took the hunters with them. The horsemen could probably survive. The hunters? Most likely not.

"CRIPPLING SHOT!" he shouted as he aimed an arrow at one of the hunter's legs.

Watching hunters being covered in lava was more terrifying than he had imagined. Wilson turned his head away, but he could still hear the pained yelling. The only consolation—if he could call it one at all—was the sound of Medea screaming, which caused him to look back at the scene again. The illusion was gone now and he was relieved to see that the hunters in the front line were alive. Most likely in crippling pain, but still alive.

He felt only more relief when he saw Allan. As crazy as the Sun leader was, he always meant well and was a definite preference to Caelius (who was also there). Except he couldn’t help but cringe as he remembered the alternate universe. Wilson fought the urge to smack his face at Allan’s loud news before an arrow whizzed by him. “Crap,” he murmured as he glanced at a Conquest horseman.

Mengyao lifted the bow, took aim, and fired - but with all of the confusion and all of the chaos, the arrow went far and wide, and Mengyao gave a small sigh, pressing his lips together in mild irritation.

Ceres didn't look nearly as strong or healthy as the others. Aymet saw it - he had been watching Hunters at the brink of death and beyond it all day here. They hadn't nearly suffered enough to make up for the years and years of suffering they'd brought to Halloween. Like maggots they would crawl out of the wreckage, but not all of them, if Aymet had any say in the matter.

Flapping his wings to gain just a little altitude in the enclosed space, Aymet sent a cascade of bones at Ceres from above. "You won't escape!"

"MORT!" he roared, searching for the pale and deathly student in a chaotic sea of humans and horsemen. Damn his poor eyesight. "I NEED A HAND!"
