Angie glanced at the Kangaskhan, and told Kale, "Try using Shadow ball. Don't get too close."
Kale made a noise of agreement, before running closer to the Kangaskhan. It took a moment to form the attack, and as Shadow ball hit it, he got hit in return.

She could feel the claws biting into her arms, drawing blood. Screaming in fear and pain, she lashed out with the stick, smacking the poke'mon across the snout. Finally free, she dropped to the floor and tried to scuttle away. She was so going to need a hospital after this.

Silo allowed himself to drop to the ground for a moment as he hopped up and down trying to shake the pain out of his massive wings. He wasn't sure how much more of this he could handle but he wasn't going to stop until his very last breath. Pushing up into the air the stitch patterned brute cried out loudly and dove towards the mother pokemon again.
