**Riska slammed to a halt at the large cave's etnrance to an interior tunnel. With a heavy sigh she raeched up and dry her eyes before looking over her head towards him.**
Riska: I am not like you...I am different. I can feel your repulsion to what I am as well as your strange feeling of love. You may have taught me but you are so willing to walk out again on me, and I am tired ofit. You say you should not reach out mentally to me then don't......
**She whispered, as she turned her head to look away while reaching up to rub her hands over her arms. She was growing cold now with a lack of feeding, and though her hunger roared at her she refused to give in. Death was better then killing.**

Dominic shook his head and sighed as he walked slowly toward her, "You do not get it. You are carpathian...yes you were turned by a vampire but because of who you are you did not become a vampiress. Another thing my mind reaches for yours but i know you do not wish me to intrude upon your thoughts. I shall not walk out on you, never, but if you need your space then just say so."
He moved up behind her slidding his arms around her waist and regulating her body tempature. "YOu are freezing...feed from me my beloved I know you do not wish to kill. I am powerful enough to stop you should you take to much. My blood will help better than a mortals."

**Enjoying the sensation of his arms around her, she still stiffened. The memories of rape flittered through her mind making it difficult to accept something that felt right. She didn't feel so cold not, and knew it was because of him...But still she did not know how all of this was possible. With a deep sigh, know he would never let her go...She shook her head.**
Riska: No, I am too much like the vampire. I know my blood is tainted, and I would not wish to risk contaminating(sp) you.....Besides I can not and will not succomb to the thrist...I...Just can't, please do not ask me to.

Dominic shook his head "No my beloved, you would only taint me if I took your blood and if you do not feed I shall lose you before I can help you. Please...for me do this thing I ask. I will not force anything upon you that I can promise you."

Riska: But how can we be for certain? I mean there is no way to remove the taint, how can we be lifemates like this Dominic...Seems rather messed up....

Dominic looked at her as he stepped forward toward her, "Riska...listen..I would not care if I were tainted not in the least not if I could be with you my beloved. Either way...please feed...it is all I am asking of you now. I do not want to see you die."

*Riska sighed. She knew he was right....With another heavy sigh, she looked up at him..Finding herself soften up a good bit to him.*
Riska: Only if you promise to help me look for a cure.....And if we can't find one then let me go...

Dominic looked down at her, tilting her chin up to he could brush his lips against hers gently. "I promise you Riska...but we will find a cure"

**Riska leaned in, finding herself drawn into the kiss. Her fears came flooding back of the vampire whom had forced himself upon her and she began to shy away. In a meak and light voice while bowing her head he said..**
Riska: I am sorry...I just.....
**Riska felt like she was the biggest mistake of his life. She wasn't sure she could let go of her fears enough to let him close.**

Dominic watched her and shook his head, "No sweety you are not a mistake to me and I understand your fears. Please feed now, I promise I shall not harm you."

**Riska sighed as she looked up. The weight of this decision could be seen heavily in her slightly sunken eyes. Looking away, she gently takes up his left hand and brings it up...Unable to bring herself to be quite intimate yet, she brings his wrist to her mouth and feels her fangs lengthen. Slowly she pierces his flesh, and is over whelmed by the feeling of blood...That of an ancient flowing into her body....Her cells rejoyced as she fed hungerily.**

Dominic closed his eyes, he knew she wasnt trying but just the feel of her feeding from him aroused him slightly. She was so beautiful he opened his eyes to look at her and waited until she had taken as much as he could give and reached up with his right hand to caress her face. "My beloved that is enough."

**Riska's body though cried out for more, reluctantly laps at the wound sealing the tiny pin pricks as she straightens her stiff and rather sore body. Her eyes did not appear so sunken, and her body seemed to maintain it's own heat. Ever so slowly she licked and savored his sweet taste. Casually she opened her eyes and lifted her gaze to meet his.**

Dominic looked down into her eyes as she leaned down and kissed her lips gently before straitening up knowing she was not confortable completely with him. "You are welcome"

**Riska bites down upon her lower lip and looks up into his eyes with great uncertainty. Feeling safe for the moment, but still unclear as to Dominic's intentions she tries once more to brush her way into his mind. Almost researching for the answers he held to her previous questions.**
Riska: Dominic....Can we take this slow? I can't have a man ruling me. I have worked so hard in exterminating the undead from this world. I can't stop now.
