Hi! Your character is mostly fine but I have on thing to mention: In the extra information--this person she likes, is it a character that doesn't exist in the guild? Or did you have a specific character in the guild you intend to have her like? Because we do not allow the latter unless you've discussed it with the person and arranged for the two characters to have a history together. Just quote me and let me know. Thanks. C=

Refract - User can refract light in a way that causes them to look displaced from their actual location. In other words, they would appear a foot or so distance away from where they're actually standing. Lasts a couple of minutes at most.
Light orb - User can create a small orb of light that will follow them for up to five minutes. Orbs must stay in the vicinity of the caster, and dissipate after a few minutes. They are generally about as strong as a flashlight or torch.
Flash ball - user can create a flash of light that will blind anyone nearby for a few seconds. Flashes affect only the immediate area and do not do permanent damage. (still learning this one)
Banish - User can create a a wave of light that will banish any shadow creatures or undead creatures in a 10 foot radius--even those normally not weak to light. Light does not affect living creatures in any way.
Rejuvinate - user can absorb solar energy, temporarily giving themselves a boost in energy and regeneration (speeds up healing significantly, but does not instantly heal). Lasts only ten minutes but the after effect is that the user is extremely tired for several hours. (she's only just started learning this one and has yet to master it) ❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ: sewing--she quite loves it and is fairly good at it
sports-she is naturally athletic and tends to be good in sports❥ｂｉｏ: Ally has a fairly unremarkable history. Unlike many, she was not born into a magical family and didn't know a whole lot about magic in general until she was in her early teens. It was just a chance meeting that led her to discover she could use magic and it was even longer before she was able to enroll in a school where she could learn to properly control her magic. Though her family had a hard time coping with the fact that Ally is a witch (though more from the fact that it was just a little weird, than becuase they have issues with magic users), she managed to get through her teen years without any major dramas.
But it was due to her wonderful teachers through highschool that Ally decided to become a teacher herself. After graduating highschool, she started at the university to study to become a teacher. She is still a student there and is currently fulfilling her initial internship doing student teaching at Resonance Skies.❥ｌｉｋｅｓ:

Dark Cloak - user can wrap their body in shadow, hiding themselves almost completely from view when standing in shadows or a dark area. Significantly increases stealth as they are nearly completely invisible while in shadow, and any noise they make is somewhat muted. Only works in places were there are shadows.
Shadow puppetry - can control and manipulate existing shadows. Shadows do not have tangible form and cannot actually damage, or interact with surroundings, but can be formed into a variety of shapes used to intimidate or scare others. Can also be used to reduce visibility.
Duality - causes shadows to also deal damage to targets during combat. Though the shadows are still mimicking their source, any hits landed by the source of shadow, does twice the damage because the shadow is also dealing damage with every strike. Can only be used on self.
Liquid Shadows (shield) - spell that forms shadows into inky black substance that can absorb physical attacks. Any shadows within the vicinity of the user can be used--it's only limited by the caster's creativity.
Nox - Brings to life the shadow of a target. Shadow has same abilities of target, but follows the will of the caster. Shadows cannot speak (they have no mouths, after all) but can physically affect their environment. ❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ: Singing-- He has a very malleable voice, which varies in pitch, giving the him the ability to sing on his own or harmonize.
Multi-instrumentally talented-- With the ability to play multiple instruments, this man's musical prowess is amazing. But with talent in some, he has surely fell in others. He can play the Bass (Classical/ Electric) But ,can not touch a guitar, He is gifted on the Flute, yet drums and trumpet evade him, His harp/violin skills are great, but the other symphony instruments elude the talent.
A fighter-- In all of his years, he had fought his way through society, and in that, made it into an art. Learning two styles that are contradictory.
❥ｂｉｏ:
In the darkness of the slums, a talented young man rose. His abilities beyond the rest, and his fortune showed from it. His eyes always determined to fight his adversaries and his fist acting before his sight, this man was a street champion at what he did. All people around envied him, especially Kiyuki. Kiyuki grew up under the fighting genius of his father, Kenichi Ademo, a street fighter who used an ancient style of shaolin boxing.
In all of his years of fighting on streets, his father never strayed from good sportsmanship and the gentleman's code. Each night, taking a harlot that was Kiyuki's mom home, and treated her like a queen, even if she didn't treat him like a person. Even through the bad times, Kenichi supported himself, his wife, Kiyuki, and his seven step children, until the day he died. The death of Kenichi by a wizard caught Kiyuki by the heart at the age of 12.
He went into a deep depression, and mimicked his dad's actions, and adding alcoholism onto it. Each day, his mind closed in more and more emotions, letting the shadows of his dark heart consume him. Was he scared, or was he angry? Soon after his 16th birthday, he unlocked the well of magic within himself.
After unlocking his magic, he began to wear a smile through the many hardships he faced, picking up something new with each one. He sang his half siblings bedtime stories when his mother died of a STD. He started developing musical talent after a house fire at age 18. He developed a new found wisdom after his magic took a life of a family member. And finally he became came to the new school after tragedy struck his home area.

❥ｂｉｏ: Guess was born and raised in the country, and only moved to the city within the last two years. Her parents are slightly kooky and have more money than they know what to do with as well as large ranch, which is where Guess grew up. Guess and her brother went to the best private schools and didn't have much in the way of unmet needs or wants. Guess graduated highschool at age 16 and went on to pursue a degree in mechanical and automotive engineering.
Guess' family has always had a knack for Magic and her parents ensured she would have the education required to learn to properly control her abilities. As such, there was never much fascination for magic with her--it was something that was just a part of every day life.
Despite her degree, Guess eventually settled for working in a small time motorcycle repair shop in the city. She liked the flexible hours and hands on doing what she really loved--fixing things. Unfortunately, the shop folded when the owner passed away and his son decided it wasn't making enough money to bother keeping it. Guess looked around for another job, but found she was 'over-qualified' for most of the things she applied for and eventually found herself at Resonance Skies. Because she likes to keep up with her appearance - meaning staying on top of the newest fashions and accessories - Nomi can be quite pretty. She has a wide variety of clothing ranging from dresses to some of the nicest shirts. It's a rarity if she wears the same thing twice unless it is a favorite of hers. ❥ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ: Cheerful, happy, and outgoing; just a few traits that quite a few people would think of when Nomi is mentioned. Only a few though. Others who fully know her well would describe her as nosy, something that she is very good at. If someone gives her half of the story, she'll go and find the other half herself. Of course this doesn't help her fully well when she gets distracted by the smallest movements. She was diagnosed with ADHD after repeatedly failing her first three years of school. Generally Nomi has a hard time with keeping her focus on one thing when there are several other things happening at the same time around her - and those always need her attention as well. She can be quite forgetful all the time sometimes. Thanks to her father's constant presents, Nomi became quite spoiled, following her own belief that she must get what she wants anytime. Pronto even. She becomes snarky very easily when she learns her demands can't be met. ❥ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ ｆｌａｗｓ: ✖ Narcissistic - Nomi believes nobody can "out-beautify" her
✖ ADHD - Warning: Gets distracted very easily by anything. Anything.

User can move about twice their normal speed for short bursts of time (a few minutes at most). ❥ｔａｌｅｎｔｓ: Doodling - Not exactly a good talent to have, but it started developing when she was in class many many suns ago.
Drinking Contests - Another talent she shouldn't have either, yet she's known to hold her liquor. Sometimes.
Body Language - The only real thing she is good at is understanding body language from other people, ranging from telling what their moods are to whether the person across from her is lying or not. ❥ｂｉｏ: Nomi Epstein was born into the loving arms of Edith and Jack Epstein. The Epsteins ran a family corporate business that excelled in computers and technology, originally passed down from Jack's father who started the business in the first place. Since it was given to him Jack wanted to do the same thing for his daughter. That meant the top of the top schools to provide the correct education for Nomi. The plan was perfect; the only problem was with Nomi's learning capabilities. The girl enjoyed everything if she focused on it. But Nomi could not focus for the life of her. Every single time something moved outside of a window or anywhere in the classroom, her attention on homework or listening to the teacher was immediately interrupted. That meant every leaf, bird, plane, or the wind caught her focus right away any time it moved a millimeter. Therefore, Nomi failed many classes in her early years, but thanks to her father's money and influence, she passed each grade.
Around her fourth grade Edith passed away from an illness, leaving Nomi without a mother. Jack felt Nomi would be more distraught if he didn't give her what she wanted. And so for years Jack gave Nomi everything she desired, including a horse, convertible, and a helicopter (though the helicopter was taken away once she directed it towards the treeline and took out most of the tops, giving it a nice shaved look). Thanks to Jack's continued patronage to the "Nomi Foundation", his little girl became more demanding by the minute. All the while she continued to fail in all of her classes (her father still paid the teachers off to at least give her either an A- or a B+). By the time Nomi graduated high school, she "found" a job easily - at her father's company - as a secretary.
Her job went on for about three years until Nomi finally had enough. Having a desk job was harder than it looked. She didn't have the capability to focus on her work there. So around a week after her twenty-first birthday, Nomi sent in her resignation and even signed up for classes at Resonance Skies University. ~When Nomi was little she always wanted to be a journalist.
~Due to her ADHD, Nomi has only been able to stay at a Novice ranking. She barely paid attention to her classes in order to move up a rank before graduating high school.
~So how in the world did Nomi get through her school years? Her father, Jack, paid the teachers to give her a passing grade. She still doesn't know about it to this day emotion_awesome .
~Nomi takes medication for her ADHD every now and then, but since it makes her feel more drowsy, she doesn't take it as much.

She's approved, but for clarification purposes---the university has other areas of study besides astronomy and music so you don't have to have her as an astronomy student for the university. C= I will run and clarify that at the university sub forum.
