Rep was just numb. His every instinct told him, he couldn't just stay here, couldn't just sit, useless on the ground while the students fought to get past. But this far into despair he didn't care, he wished they could just let them through, get rid of them off the island. Leave them to give the man his final peace.
Even touching on the thought made the knot well up in him again. Francis. Killzone. Another name from another life he had brought with him. Just like him. And he'd thought at first the guy was crazy, thought he was a weird hippy. He'd not heeded the warnings and given in to the darker sides of himself. He had been locked down when maybe he could have helped, maybe he could have done something.
Jerry's babbling in grief nearby simply made the hollowness deeper and it was almost dizzying, he felt like he couldn't cope. He couldn't think of this or deal with it. No Jordan. Ace separated who-knew-where on the battlefield, there was no one to hug, to share any of it with. "He's gone man."
He stood unsteadily. "I'm sorry. I'm so ******** sorry." No one else around him fully registered. He was speaking to the weapon. "I'm.. I'm sorry man. You are alone now. We are all a little bit more alone."
He glared at the encroaching students, reaching up with a hand to wipe away the tears. "But no one will get you. You'll ******** remember him. We all will."
He gave the fallen figure a respectful nod. "Rest easy bro. And thankyou for everything."

Okay, so this was the Yin he remembered. Even if the other boil did appear weak, even if he did stumble and have to grab ahold of him to keep himself from falling to the ground. The attitude was still Yin. It was still his bonded. Alex was so elated he could have laughed, but he somehow managed to keep a more serious composure. "No, you shouldn't be here. I've come to take you home." He glanced back over his shoulder towards where the battle to get through the barrier was still underway. Apparently the black man had fallen, but now more hunters had arrived. Alex didn't care, at this point, he was just happy to have his bonded back. He reached out with his free hand to steady the boil. "I'll only go back if you're coming back with me." He murmured, watching the events that were unfolding. "I will not leave you here. We are going home, together." There was a note of finality in his voice, but it was laced with concern. Were they going to be able to leave? As a side thought, he reached up to grab for another shard. OOC ALEX IS NOT IN PVP! A small famine horseman wandered into the midst. Purposefully, in his own way. Insane, in everyone else's. These wriggling worms and insects did not belong here. This was his home and he didn't allow such filth into it uninvited. But he could cleanse them of their inferiority. End their petty disputes. He would help. Shadowy arms twisted forward to grab hold of the first one he could find in the sea of hazy grey. Taima. He would make it all better. He was a doctor. Sasha glanced at Before, then glanced at Killzone's body. Her expression said that it was pretty obvious what was going on, but just in case it wasn't clear enough she said in an expressionless voice. "Killzone's dead." That being said - and despite the bitter taste the words left on her tongue - Sasha turned her attention back to Jerry. She gave his shoulder a harsh shake before leaning down to whisper a few waspish words in his ear. "This isn't the time to mourn, Jerry. Get up and kick some a**. You're a sun. One of the best. Don't let this be in vain, please. Get up. Kick some a**." She shook him viciously again. " Now, Jerry. You hear me?" OOC SASHA IS NOT IN PVP! Rin didn't understand what was going on anymore. Everything seemed to move in short chaotic bursts around her. Her gaze finally shifted over to her friends. What were they doing? What was going on?
She rushed to join them, brushing close to Sasha but looking at Jerry, "What's going--"
Oh Jerry. Oh Jerry, no.
She froze as soon as she realized just who Jerry was holding. She had not properly... known the man beyond one evening... but she had hoped-- that hope was no more.
She quietly set her jaw. Jerry's pain was tangible enough to taste. She turned her head to Sasha and furrowed her brows at her, "Who did this?"

WHAT IN THA'CORN'PICKIN'-!! Levi thought a human had managed to get the jump on her. Nope, it was her brother-from-another-mother. They somehow managed to slam into the barrier as a unit and effectively produce damage. Not even if yew got'any ideas ta', Rex!So Levi did it again. Zoooom. Purposeful damage. The only thing on Gene's mind as she walked away from the battle was the thought that all Hunters sucked. She didn't even care about their pasts, like problems girl thought she should. She just wanted them to go away, and let them live out their lives. Stupid, stupid Hunters.

Covering her mouth Mitsu nodded to Shun, her head coming to rest against his shoulder, her breathing fast and shallow. Again she closed her eyes but this time she left them closed as her body gave another shiver and then relaxed into the reaper's hold. Standing next to the Pricoli was the Cat-King, Jack, who had gotten horrendously lost - last time he remembered he was standing next to Sparrow and Remi. Next moment there were flowers and a certain canine he had seen in moons, and they were wandering through a very nice field,a nd there were flowers - a handful he was now holding signifying the romp they had through the field, before finding the . . forest before them.
What was happening.
Eyes wide, he leaned closer to the Pricoli, looking down at her, eyebrows raised high, wringling his scar on his face.

Lizzy's lack of a sense of direction had gotten her relatively lost on the island; after witnessing what Medea did back at HQ, she decided that the horsemen were no better than the hunters - taking the people they cherished, holding them hostage... Or rather, she should say that between humans, horsemen, and the people of Halloween, it did not matter what they are - she's going to focus on who they are from now on.
"No...." She arrived just in time to see a hunter fall; a man who had been in their way, now nothing more than a dead body with a weapons tablet next to it. Although she did not play a direct part in contributing to his death, the fact that she was here on the island made her an accomplice who was equally guilty. That's why she disliked fighting. There was always some sort of death with fighting, and since hunters only had one life, they normally go first - and then what?
His friends get upset and attack her friends?

Calder was working alongside the others, rising up to beat her hooves against the barrier and all hunters who opposed them. They needed out, and they needed to go home. They had come what they came for, and Calder knew she needed the portal open for her friends.
