Ellis shook his head but Irana's eyes were sparkling. "Deal!" "We can't just go! I have things to do." Ellis protested. "Oh, but a new world to look at. It could only be for one day. I will not miss the chance to talk to Gale's mother. We have plans to make after all." she pointed out(as Araima flinched). "I'm sure the house can wait a day. Ellis was silent for awhile. "Fine. But just for a day. If I think it's safe, Araima can stay for however long she likes. But it I don't she comes back with us." he finally decided. "I have nothing against you Gale, but I've known you less than a day." Araima was beaming. This was perfectly fine with her. She set the tea around and kissed her father head. "Thank you."

"Fair enough, sir." Replied Gale, everything seemed to be turning out nicely enough. "My parent's wont be back from their vacation till 4 days from now. So that should give everyone enough time to get themselves sorted out." He then turned to Araima.
"I'm going to get some clothes to wear, but I'll be back this evening. I promise, this time will be different."

Ellis and Irana nodded. "That's plenty of time." Irana replied. Araima looked at Gale slightly worried. But she would trust him. She had to. Taking his hand she smiled. "Alright. I'll be counting on it." she said squeezing his hand.

"I have to come back." His hands landed on her belly and rubbed it softly. "I have two people counting on me now. Can't let them down, can I?" He looked concerned for Araima. She didn't need this kind of stress, of waiting for some to comeback who may never because of something like a door separating them. Gale then looked over to her parents, seeking their help as well. "Please, stay here with Araima?"

At this, for the first time Ellis smiled he understood that look. He shared a look with his wife and she nodded. "Of course." he said. "We'll give you a moment though." Irana added, standing. Together Araima's parent left for a moment to give them time to say what they needed to in private.
Araima looked down at her love and smiled sadly. She could fell tears forming behind her eyes, but she did her best to held them back. She didn't want to start being overly emotion and start balling in front of him. But she really didn't want him to leave. She would hope for the best though. Like she always did. "I'll be counting the hours. Hopefully you'll make it back in record time." she teased. She placed a hand on his.

Gale nodded. "Same here, please don't cry Araima." He wiped away the tears he saw about to fall from her eyes. He would hate to see her cry right now. He'd rather stay here with the clothes on his back then to have more clothes and see her cry.

Araima smiled sheepishly and sniffled. "I'm sorry. I'm trying. I really am." she assured him. She seemed to cry whenever she was sad and laugh to near tears at the oddest thing. She felt almost like a child with these emotional swings. "I can hardly keep a hold of myself." she laughed. "You go. I know you'll be back. I know it." She hugged him, wanting to feel his arms around her for a moment.

Gale hugged Araima right on back, he made sure to do that for as long as she needed. Mood swings, he heard about them before, perhaps the way she was acting was caused by one? "Not until I'm certain you won't go into tears the moment I step out that door." He answered her, he refused to leave her side right now.

This made she feel calmer. She rested her head on his shoulder, allowing a few tears to fall. She took deep breaths. Really, Gale's arms around her did the most to comfort her. Finally after a few minutes, she pulled away slightly and wiping the stray tears off her face. "Thank you." she murmured.

He nodded his head and smiled at his love. Gale then straightened out the loose strands of her hair. "I'm going to go now." He gave Araima one last kiss and held her hands. "Be strong for all of us." He asked of her, with that said, Gale released her and stepped out. He felt that she would be okay now, hopefully. Once he got far enough from the house, he sprinted off, trying to cut his time as much as possible.
"I'm going to be back on time, that's a promise I can't break..."

Araima kissed him back and smiled. Even if it was for one day she'd miss him. But she could survive. "I will." she promised. As she watched him go from the window her parents returned. A hand was placed on her shoulder. She reached up to place her hand over it grateful. "He'll be back." he mother said. "I know."

True to his word, Gale did return that very same evening. He was now prepared to stay with Araima for as long as it took for his parents to return. He knocked on her front door, hoping that she had not already gone to sleep by the time he had returned to be with her.
"Please be awake, Araima"

Araima was sitting on her bed reading. She was glad her parents had stayed to keep her company today. However as the sun set she persuaded them to head home. She wouldn't keep them from the sleep they needed and there reall wasn't a room they could sleep in. She was debating heading to sleep as she had for the past two hours. However she was saved from having to finally make a decision when a knock come. She hurried out of bed and to the door. her face lite up when she say Gale standing there. She opened the door wider so he could come in. "Welcome back." she greeted happily.

"Sorry to keep you waiting." He smiled and walked into Araima's home with his bag slung on his back. He was relieved that she was awake still. Looking around, it seems like they were alone now. "Parent's left I'm guessing, I hope I didn't disturb you sleep."

Araima shook her head. "You didn't disturb me. I couldn't sleep so I was up reading." she told him. "I convinced Mother and Father to head home and sleep. It was nice having them over for the day." She helped him take his bag off and set it on the table for the moment. She kissed his cheek. "I'm glad you made it."
