Taking hold of his advantage, Wolfwood studied the situation, finally deciding that he couldn't free up one of his hands to tickle her. So he used his only other available 'weapon': his tail. Grinning evilly at her, he brandished his tail then proceeded to tickle her right side then he switched to her left and back again.

Menolly started to squirm as she was being tickled. Laughing, she was trying to think and find some way to avoid the tickling tail. Not fair that she didn't have one; however, she wasn't upset, she just knew she'd have to use what she had to her advantage. Menolly was far, far too innocent and naive to think of anything sensual or of similar nature. Her idea to help her, her wings. Feathers were used to tickle, and she was sure she could figure out how to use hers.
Soon, she hoped, since this tickling was getting the best of her. Unfolding her wings full out she begin flapping them a few minutes, her wings were things she didn't really use. Working on getting the feel of them, she attempts to tickle Wolfwood by bringing the tips of her wings as close to Wolfwood as she could before the strain caused her to fling her wings back then she attempted to do it again. After all, she innocently believed that was the only 'weapon' at her disposal.

Wolfwood quirked his left eyebrow, feeling a sudden breeze. When he realized Menolly's wings were the sorce of it he blinked, watching the feathered appendages. At first it was amusing to watch her try to tickle him back that way but after awhile he started to worry that she would hurt her wings, putting them under so much strain like that. So, like the nice guy he was, he stopped tickling her with his tail then let her arms go and rolled off of her, lying on his side next to her and grinning.

Menolly stopped flapping her wings, looking at them a moment and frowning. Really, she hadn't used them before and wanted to make sure they were still there. Storing them back where they normally lay against her back, forgotten once more, she looked back to Wolfwood. Smiling at him, she reached out and taped his nose, laughing afterwards.
It surprised her a bit that she could still laugh after the tickle assault.

Wolfwood blinked then crossed his eyes and wiggled his nose. "Hey! What was that for?" he asked, feigning indignation and hurt while he rubbed his nose.

Menolly laughed a bit more at the first part of his reaction. She stopped when he started acting indignant and hurt. For a moment she tried to understand if he was playing around or if she had hurt him. A smile crept and she giggled, indignant really looked funny on him, and cute.
Deciding that he was playing, and hoping she was right, Menolly leaned forward and gave him kiss on the cheek and a playful pat on the head, "There we go, all better!" Grinning, she thought about her use of the old saying "Kiss it and make it better", and started giggling again.

Wolfwood smiled as she kissed his cheek but quickly hid it. "No, it's not better. Not yet, at least.. Maybe you should try kissing my nose.."

Menolly was fighting hard not to smile and laugh. Frowning a second as if she were thinking about it, she leaned forward again and gave him a tiny kiss on the nose. Then, for good measure and because she wanted too, she kissed him lightly on the lips before pulling back. She asked as she smiled and chuckled, "Better now?"

"Hmm.. a little bit. Perhaps if you gave it one more try?" he prompted, holding back a rakish grin. It was fairly difficult to manage that, though. Menolly was just so cute he couldn't help but want to smile.

Menolly tilted her head a moment, thinking and reviewing. She came to the conclusion that just maybe he was playing around and that her act of taping his nose did not really upset him. Feeling better about that, she smiled and leaned forward, kissing him on his nose once more then on the lips, this time she did not pull back. A giggle wanted to escape her throat but she would not let it.

Wolfwood closed his eyes and deepened the kiss a little, resting his hand on the side of Menolly's face and stroking her cheek with his thumb. A sigh wanted to escape his chest and he let it, cuddling closer to her.

Menolly was starting to think starting water fights was a great thing to do, after all, this was extremely enjoyable! Menolly had picked up a trait her father had, she found purring a nice way to express herself. It wasn't as animalistic as what her father did; however, the small purr-sigh, felt like it expressed her enjoyment of the activity.
Snuggling against him as he cuddled closer to her, it was hard to think of anything more enjoyable.

Wolfwood heard her purring and smiled against her lips, deciding he'd strive to get her to make that noise as often as possible. When he finally broke the kiss, he settled back on one elbow and just watched her, an even brighter smile gracing his face.

Menolly was a bit sad when the kiss ended; however, she knew both of them had to breathe. She was already smiling, his handsome smile made hers bigger. "You have a really nice smile", her compliment was honest, and spoken softly.

"You think so?" he asked, his voice just as soft. His smile only shrunk just a tiny bit while he spoke and, as soon as he was finished speaking, his lips stretched again, revealing his pearly whites to the fullest extent.
