Kina was looking at the boy who'd henged himself into a black wolf, her eyebrow lifting slightly. He must have been one of those drama queen types. she shifted her attention instead to the horizon, the distant haze of deep blue on the horizon signalling their arrival at their destination. They had almost reached the ocean. She herself had to admit that it was nice feeling, to know that they had come so far. And yet with the mention of her cousin this turned a tad bit sour. While she was here having fun with her new friends, heading along on this journey, Xen was only getting further and further away... her goal of being able to ask her question of him was growing more and more distant... he looked to her new friends, Urza, Miyako, Alucard,....she supposed Mido and Yokijo sort've counted. She gave a small gentle smile and a laugh. She supposed that eventually, in order to follow her path and find Xen she would have to leave them behind. They would probably only be able to fathom fighting Xen...and, if she was brutally honest...that would probably only get them killed. Xen himself might have killed them, but he wouldn't deign to fight a bunch of kids himself. He'd either have Usa, or Mokutan handle it...and if it was Usa... well they'd all likely meet their end.
The was a battle, however distant, that she would have to fight alone...if a battle was to be had. Her stomach growled, her face mellow as she raised a hand to place over it. She needed some coffee...

Mikito watched the boy take the guise of a black wolf, raising his brow. And here he thought Phantom was overly dramatic when using henge...still... he supposed now that he thought about it, from the sudden slithering shadow he spotted out of the corner of his eyes, he was glad that the kid was serving as enough of a distraction. He'd thought it had been a bit odd that a certain type of reptile had been so common in the countryside of Yuu throughout their journey, he'd heard the sound of them slithering through the grass around them every so often...but from the pattern on that one's scales... his eyes shifted to Senkyo.
It looked like the Knight of Forte was sufficiently distracted by his fellows conversation, and repeated teasing remarks. Besides now that he thought about it, had Senkyo ever even SEEN that particular snake in that form...? He pondered it for a moment. But what could the reason for...
He decided to just ignore it for now and act as if he didn't notice anything. Whatever the reason for it was...it would most likely become apparent soon.
"Alright kids...welcome to Mizuoh."
