Amelie pouted. "How now. I've already used the effect of Amnesia in one of my schemes, and to my benefit. It's boring now, i don't see any motivation to try it out of dear innocent little Kiera now." She lied. But she didn't really know if she was going to plan anything to use this as an advantage. After all, she didn't have much to loose. Unlike Yuji, she wasn't trying to win her daughters heart. If she messed with Kiera and left her hating her more, it didn't effect her life whatsoever. So she was still contemplating it.
Asher however, grinned in acknowledgment that she was going to be one of the suspects. Her, of all things. She hadn't yet done anything to make her suspicious so, so why was Yuji already picking on her? She only did what demons do, take souls and make deals. She hadn't yet made it apparent on what sort of things she could be capable of, nor what she has done to ruin Kiera's life so far in the making.
Kiera still sat there though, head rested neatly on her knees, watching the scuttling of people below her. She could hear the varying voices. Some worrying for her, some not. Then the voices came to her. The voices of people heads. She heard them all. So many. She didn't know she could read minds. They were all so dramatic. And Kiera clasped her hands over her ears and clenched her jaw in a poor attempt to stop it.

*All the vioces stopped ofr a moment as a hand went onto Keria's shoulder. Eve stood behind her looking down at her with a hand in her pocket, "don't let all the vioces into your head. Think aobut somthing else, and you wont pick all the other peoples minds." She knew what was going on only becuse Shortstraw explained what he learned to Eve about Kerias headachs becus eof the mind reading ability she had. Shorstraw grabbed Kerias hands and pulled to get her to her feet, "Come On Ms Keria lets go for a ride for a little bit. And then we're go to the big family dinner." He smiled.

Kiera brushed herself off and looked to the demon. Asher. For a moment Kiera just stood there, looking into the great cats beady eyes. She remembered some about Asher. The mere sight of her made her remember. Asher wanted her to remember. Kiera's eyes thinned a little, in hatred for the damn thing. There was a compulsory feeling to not trust this thing, and the way that Yuji spoke of her, maybe she was right. Asher grinned her perfect Cheshire cat grin, and cocked her head at her. "Something wrong, master?" Acting with amazing innocence. Kiera stayed put, there was a part of her that didn't want to go near Asher.

*Shorstraw noticed a diffrence in Kerias eye as she looked to Asher. He then looked to Asher, "Asher on second thought you go on ahead to the castle, we will see you later." He almost commanded it as he looked to Keria, "You know it might be better off to walk. come on, that owuld be okay right. It woudn't be faster, but it would be more your stile." Eve chukkled and turned, "i'll see you at the castle sis." SHe hopped to the ground and dissapeared.

Kiera's eyes widened once more, as Asher nodded and turned to trot away, and she looked to shortstraw. "My... style?" She said, unsure. She wondered. She already knew what her personality was like. Which brought more questions to her head about the people around her. As she began walking, she rubbed her shoulder with her hand insecurely. "If i'm such a horrible person as my father described, then why do you and Eve seem to like me so much?" There were plenty more questions where that came from.

*Shorstraw smiled* "Cuse your my mistress duh! Eve cares for you and understands everything about you. She said your the only one she could ever trust, and to resive that trust is to give it." He nodded, "Ms Eve is vary smart. When the contry fell she even took over the entire country and pulled it up from ruble into the biggest booming country in the world. It was a merical what she can do. Shes a warrior goddess in my eyes too, thats where i met her... and then when you killed a bad man that killed alot of people including my parents, i wrote you a letter and she gave it to you. They you found me and poof, i was turned into your apprentace. You gave me a reasion to live." He laughed, "any other questions?"

Kiera was confused about herself. She sounded so despicable in so many situations, and sounded like one of the worst people ever. And yet she was capable of doing things like this? For one she basically invited a random stranger which she saved to live with her and to be a teacher. While with the other being the only person to ever know Kiera properly. The only person Kiera trusting properly. Kiera suddenly found herself at a loss with the questions she once had, that seemed irrelevant now. Then, one annoying question. "Who is Asher to me, exactly?"

*Shortstraw nodded alittle more serious.* "i saw the look in your eyes, and thats why i sent her away. You remember somthing aobut her i can tell. She's a demon, and orignaly she took a peice of your soul in extange for being your subject. However i made a deal with her in extange for a peice of my soul, she's my mount, an dshe had to put your soul back, while still being your subject. Long story short there. Orignaly I thought you would be mad at me for makeing the deal withher, but it turned out you let it go." He smiled, "but now you have her as a subject, which means other people wont get hurt by her deals, and you have your entire soul back."

Kiera's eye thinned once more. Looked like these episodes of remembrance would become more often, now. She stopped in her tracks for a second, then continued walking, gathering her reasoning's together. "I just remembered some memories of that..." She paused, trying hard to think of what she was about to say, then. "If i remember correctly, then i think there was something that i thought before." Her eyes widened a little. "Oh yeah, i remember now. It was that I knew that it was a stupid deal. Because Asher played you. Asher knew for a fact that when you made a deal with her, she'd get a good gain. Basically, if i can phrase this right. The part of the soul Asher supposedly gave me back was empty. Merely a lifeless husk. A shells from where the real thing had been. The real part of my soul that Asher had taken had already been devoured by Asher long ago. I knew this because it takes a year to devour a soul for a demon. So basically she was angry with Asher because you made a deal with her that took advantage of your innocence. So now she has not only part of my soul, but some of yours too." She hoped she remembered it right.

*Shortstraw slowed to a stop. He wasn't sure that was right being she rememberd or not But it sounded like the real her as she said it. He recalled what she said and how she acted. He felt anger inside of him, but hid it away and decided to make Keria feel okay about it in her state. He faked a smile and continued walking, "well it was worth a shot i guess..." he however was thinking much diffrently as he walked. She didn't keep up on her deal at all. He was persiffic on the soul and everything. He had anger thought in his head but remaind calm he would sort it out later with asher. For now Keria was more important. He smiled, "so anything else you remember?"

Kiera carried on as if there were nothing wrong, but that didn't distract the fact that she sensed something immensely wrong. She didn't know what to do or how to act. She didn't know if she could help. So she did nothing. "No.. Not much else.." She lowered her head and looked to the floor as she kept walking.

*Shortstraw nodded* "Well i guess thats a sign that your going to get it all back. I mean thats why our dad set up the big family dinner, it dosn't happen much. He figured you may get somthing things back when seeing eveyone or certain ranodm things. I think its' going to tbe quiet fun. He even sound excited about it." He laughed and his eyes light up as he reached into his pocket, "oh yea!" He pulled out a small silver chain neckless and handed it to her. "I wanted to giv eyou this a little bit ago before all this happened but you were in a angry mood." He smiled. It was a small neckless, it was silver dagger on the end of the chain, with a little orange dimend at the handle of the fake dagger on the end of it. "It's a symbol i came up with. A sword or regular dagger neckless means that a warrior will fight for you when it's give to someone. A sword neckless with a dragon means one fights for himself. A sword neckless with two serpents means brother hood, being a equl with someone. And lastly theres the bad one, the neckless sword witha skull, meaning hate. Alsom meaning reflection." He nodded, "but so far thats the first sword neckless i made, becuse your the first person i have to give it too. you only give these out if really ment, thats my rules for this system i made." He replied reasurringly as the castle came into veiw in the distance.*

Kiera held the necklace tight in her hands for a second, looking at it, before hanging it around her neck reassuringly. She knew she could trust this boy, now. He seemed decent. They were going to return to a big family dinner... She wasn't sure if she wanted that. To be around lots of people. She'd taken in a lot today, and she was tired. And now she had to endure more information and remembering episodes. Even with the memory loss and wanted to get it back, she was still lazy. "Thank you.." She finally said.

*He smiled and shook his head, "no way. It's symbol thats no need to thank me." He laughed. "Anyways, i would like you to go tot he dinner, i know the real you wouldn't want to both with it, and if it's too much let me know okay. I'll get you out of there, or tell the others to leave you alone. It's a good idea to be part of it, i think it will help you. I think though it will also be alittle hard on you. I don't want to put you through something that will put too much onto you either."

Kiera shook her head. "No no. I'll be fine. People want me to go, i'll go." She didn't seem as sure as she sounded. But if he said he thought it would help her, then she would go along with it. Once they reached the house again, Kiera could spy Amelie scowling at her from the doorway, then disappearing the moment anyone could have seen her there. Kiera wondered who she was, being that no one told her that she was her mother yet, not seeing her once yet at all. Did she have some grudge against her? What had the others told her? Only more questions came peaking back into her mind once more, making her head hurt. Amelie had been told not to go near her at all. By none other than Asher herself. Being a demon, she overruled her slightly. But Amelie was still vigilant against the fact people were telling her not to mess with Kiera. This just made the concept itself more... tainted. And tempting. There was no way Amelie could resist it.
