Coming up behind the cars was a.... wait a second, was that a balloon float?? The whole float was made out of balloons, with a person on top folding balloons again and again, over and over again, and throwing them at the crowd. Balloon dogs, bows, guns... Everything was balloon!

Kids in the crowd eagerly scooped up the balloon toys and hats and put them on, adding even more color to the audience.

There were several clowns on the float who blew balloon animals while dancing to the music. Each one seemed to be trying to best the others.

Some even invited some kids to join on, and asked them what they wanted.

When the children answered, the clowns tried to quickly create the balloon animals to prove their skill; however, one clown decided to show off his expertise and crafted some much grander.

This clown must have taken classes in balloon artistry at some point in his or her life because the balloon pegasus (complete with mane, wings, and tail in addition to its legs and head) was nothing short of spectacular.

One clown was making less than legitimate animals. A thing with to many legs, (or was it heads?) and a overly fat body. Hardly impressive, he got a few sad looks from some of the crowd.

One of the invited children took notice of the monsters the clown was creating.

The clown looked like he was trying hard, and was overly nervous. Instead of bashing him for his creation, the kid noticed his nervous look and took the balloon gratefully, smiling. Many other kids noticed this and tried to make him feel better by taking more balloons from him and asking him to make one and another. Reassured by this, he relaxed and improved— soon, his creations were better and less rushed.

The creatures became less strange so much as they became magical in their own right, enchanting the children who came and went asking for the clown's creations. The other clown however, saw this as an act of clown war!

While the clowns continued their fight, much to the delight of the children in the crowds, the next float was rolling up. It was a flower float, decked in all sorts of blossoms made (and grown) by the Teufel Town Horticultural Society.

The society members that adorned this float also possessed clothing or accessories crafted from the plants they labored over.

As beautiful as the plant clothing was, it prevented much movement, leaving the float to rely on it's cheery music and bright blossoms to keep the crown enchanted.

Many expected more from the float other then just standing there... and as it turned out, they got it! The woman twirled, the petals on the dress flying off into the air and flowing into the crowd. Underneath the petals was a... one piece suit? 14 other girls walked out, twirling and letting the petals fly... and all at once, the girls united and started kicking their legs up like the Rockets from New York City!

As opposed to the heavy plant clothing, these costumes were sleek and streamlined, though they still had a floral pattern. They kicked and twirled and leaped amongst the petals, kicking up a veritable storm of flowers, as the society members still on the float tossed bulbs and packets of seeds to the crowd.
