"I won't. I promise I won't this time." Jeromy cooed as he clutched Inari's hand and ever so lightly kissed her forehead. He moved his chair closer to the bed and then said, "I called for your father. I don't know if he'll be able to come, but I thought he'd like to know. He would've found out anyways, but I decided to try letting him know myself." Jeromy had not a clue as to whether it was a good idea to bother such a busy man, but he wanted to show Inari's father that he wasn't a bad guy. At least not like he used to be.{ooc: I'm getting off now. Would've like to have been on longer, though since I share the computer with other people I have to go. sad }

Inari nodded, her heart fluttering at his light kiss. "I'm sorry, Jeromy...I'm so sorry..." she croaked, tears streaming down her face. "I...I'm sorry I upset you, I'm sorry I walked away... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." she gripped his hand tighter. "Thank you... For not leaving me..." she said, and licked her dry lips. ((Aw sad goodnight!)) Edit:Is it me or does this seem like a soap opera? XD

Jeromy took the hand that wasn't holding Inari's and brushed it against her face, getting the same feeling as the first time and he said, "It's ok. I'm not mad. I'm just happy I saw those two and was able to stop them in time. I'm lucky the cops let me go..." He mumbled the last part. He knew that Inari more than likely heard him, but Jeromy was still very cautious around the police. He then said, "I won't leave you again. I could've lost you to those dirt-bags and I'd have never been able to forgive myself if they'd have taken you and done God knows what to you." Jeromy's mind wandered to Inari's father again. He then strated mumbling nonsense to himself about Inari's father putting him in jail for kidnapping his daughter, though he was mumbling things about Inari's father thanking him for saving her. Jeromy was very confused about what Mr. Curneel would think of him and he was nearly about to have a panic attack over the whole ordeal.

Inari sighed, happily, at the feel of Jeromy's hand. "Sh... You're making my head hurt," she teased, weakly. She smiled at Jeromy, not knowing wha exactly she was feeling for this boy. "Er...Jeromy? Could you get me some water?" she blushed and looked down, not sure why she was embarrassed for water.

Jeromy carefully removed his hand from Inari's face whispering, "I'm sorry.." He really thought that he'd made her head hurt and he felt a bit guilty about it. He heard her asking for water, then saw her blush and look down. He wondered why she was embarrassed, but he softly said, "I'll ask the nurse to go get you some water." Jeromy went to ask the nurse to get some water for Inari. The nurse smiled sweetly and told Jeromy that she would be back with the water in a few minutes. Jeromy waited for about five minutes when the nurse came back with the water and he then thanked the nurse kindly before taking the water to Inari. "Here's the water you wanted." Jeromy said as he held out the lidded cup with a straw to Inari.

Inari smiled at Jeromy and waited for him to bing her water. While he was gone, a sadness overtook her, even rhough it was only 5 or 6 minutes. When Jeromy came back, Inari's face broke into a smile, which she tried to contain. "Thank you," she took the cup in her left hand and drank some water, having almost the whole cup. She put it down on the table beside her bed and reached for Jeromy's hand again, "My Dad's more than likely in a meeting... He probably didn't get the call..." she loved her dad, but he was so busy sometimes...

Jeromy was happy to be with Inari and that she seemed to be doing a lot better than when he first brought her to the hospital. He then decided to tell Inari what his thoughts were when he got her into the ER. He started saying, "Hey, Inari. I just wanted to let you know that I was really worried about you when I brought you here... I didn't.." He took a deep, faintly shaky breath and continued, "I didn't know if you were going to be ok because of how much blood was pouring from your head. I know head wounds bleed a lot, but it truthfully scared me to see all that blood." He knew his voice was shaking, but he didn't care. When he heard about Inari's father probably being in a meeting and probably didn't get the call Jeromy looked at Inari and then said, "I'll be right back. I know a way to make sure that he hears about you being in the hospital." Jeromy got up and walked out of the room. He knew that the police could get to Inari's father and let him know about Inari. Walking to a police officer that happened to be coming into the hospital Jeromy, politely pulled him to the side and explained about what happened to Inari. The police officer looked at Jeromy with wide eyes and then told him he'd get the message to Mr. Curneel ASAP. With that Jeromy headed back to Inari's room and said, "I think that's settled now. I had to talk to a police officer, but hopefully the message will be passed on."

Inari listener to Jeromy with wide eyes, biting her lip. She nodded her head as he left and, when he was gone, gingerly brought Er hand up to her head, feeling the bump. She winced, her eyes closed, and took her hand away. "Damn, that hurts..." she cursed. As Jeromy came back, Inari turned her head to look at him, wincing again. "Jeromy... You talked to the police officer? F-for me?" her eyes shone in admiration. She knew now, that she wasn't only feeling lust for this street-boy. Probably not love, but not only lust. "Thank you..." was all she managed. She brought her hand to her head, "Ow...headache..." she winced, again, and sighed. Inari began falling asleep, her eyelids heavy and her had pounding. "Don't go..." she muttered to Jeromy.

Jeromy looked at Inari saying, "I didn't really know what would happen if I'd go to the police, but thankfully I wasn't arrested." He was sitting in the chair next to Inari, wondering what to do next when he heard her thank him. "It was nothing." He whispered. Then when Inari mentioned her having a heaadache Jeromy walked to the nurse that was right outside the room and asked for something to dull the pain in Inari's head. The nurse got some asprin for Inari and took it to her; Jeromy right behind her. The nurse told Inari to take the two asprin and if she needed more to let her know.{Edit: I have to go for a bit. Inari nodded and took the aspirin, swallowing both pills. "Thank you," she said and the nurse left. "Jeromy, tell me about yourself. Maybe I'll fall asleep," her voice was teasing. "Seriously, though, I've kissed you a few times," she blushed, "Yet all I know is that your name is Jeromy, you have a house where all tedious an windows are locked, you have an old, blue mustang and your favorite color is red." she grinned, "I want to know more."

Jeromy listened to Inari and he knew that he really hadn't told her too much about himself. Though, he had poured his life's story to her. He decided it wasn't anything to fuss over and he said, "Well, I think I mentioned that I lost my mother as a child and unfortunately had to live with my abusive father. It was a few years before I got taken away from him and put into foster care. That's sort of where my bad streak started. I was a really good kid way back before everything happened. I don't really know why it had to happen to me, but it did..... I would probably be a lot nicer than I am if it wouldn't have." He didn't know what else he felt comfortable with telling Inari. He knew that he could pretty much tell her anything, but there was still that chance her father would hate his guts. That thought really bugged him, even though he tried to ignore it.

Inari shook her head and lay her hand on his arm, "Hon, I don't mean like that. I know all that, and you don't have to repeat it..."she told him, a small smile on her face. "I mean first date stuff: Lucky number, favorite animal, favorite food, etcetera," she grinned. She wanted to know him. The shallow stuff and the deep stuff.

Jeromy looked at Inari and said, "Oh. Well I like big dogs. My favorite is a Bernese Mountain Dog. My lucky number would be fifteen. I love Italian food, but don't ever tell anyone that because everyone I know believes that I hate it." He laughed a bit at the end. He was looking at the clock and couldn't believe that it was almost five in the afternoon. He thought that Inari's father would've been informed of what happened by that point. Jeromy hoped that Mr. Curneel would have been there and heard that Inari was saved by him. Although, Jeromy knew that Mr. Curneel probably would not be able to see him as kind or caring; only the street rat that everyone else saw when they looked at him.

Inari smiled, "I like cats... The way they purr is so cute!" she gushed. "My lucky numbers are 3,7 and 11... Don't ask why..." she smiled, "And I love Thai food. Even if you didn't want to know that," she grinned. She held her hand out, wanting to hold his hand. "Why does no one know you like Italian food?" she asked, tilting her head.

Jeromy raised an eyebrow as Inari gushed over the fact that she liked cats. He wasn't too keen on cats, but if Inari liked them he wasn't going to say anything bad about them. "I'm not too good with cats. I had a friend ask me to cat-sit once and lets just say I never did again. The cat scratched up something that was very valuble to me and I never spoke with the owner of that cat again." He then replied to Inari's question of why no one knew that he liked Italian food. "It was a few years back and something about Italian food came up, but most of the guys there were idiots that didn't know what they were talking about and brought up some French dishes as well. They mentioned escargot and I gagged. They all were idiots and thought it was Italian. I wasn't able to get a word in before everyone was chased out of the house for being too loud."
