Ginny rolled her eyes and smirked. "So you'll offer to clean my place but you won't clean your own? I don't think that makes much sense..." Smiling, she wrapped her arms around Chris's middle and nodded. "I know... and I promise to think about it." Ginny gave her boyfriend a squeeze before she pulled away to see his smirk. "And what is that supposed to mean?" she asked, suddenly quite aware of how long it had been since she had been with a man.

It was like she hadn't been with anyone in a long time. He hadn't, either, but she seemed like a little virgin... Although, Alex proved that theory wrong. Ginny smirked slightly, getting the feeling that Chris was just teasing her to see her reaction. However, she could not help but be enticed by his actions. "I... I'm not sure..." she said softly, closing her eyes as she felt her boyfriend's breath against her ear. "Maybe... just maybe... it means I would give you whatever you asked for..." Opening her eyes again, Ginny turned her head and looked nervously at Chris, this time judging his reaction.

It had lifted as she realized he was teasing her. What she said next made Chris's jaw drop to the floor. He didn't know what to say... His mouth kept opening and closing like a fish's mouth. "Ginny..." he said quietly, his throat dry. Of course she was beautiful, and of course he wanted her, but it was so soon... Was she really comfortable with it? Was she really offering him... Everything? "Ginny, I'd never force you into anything... I was just teasing..." he stated nervously. His eyes flicked between hers and he bit his lip, trying to explain himself. "I mean... Of course I would want to... With you... Ginny watched as Chris struggled with finding the right words to say. When he finally spoke, Ginny smiled slightly. Of course he would be a gentleman... she thought, genuinely thankful that he did not immediately jump on her offer. "I understand..." she said when he was done. "And you wouldn't be forcing me... I mean... I want to be with you, too... But if you think it's too soon then we'll wait." She smiled again and kissed Chris on the cheek.

"Yep, it's right there." he smiled. He could feel a faint, light pink blush creeping up his neck. "I'll do my best." he murmured. He really couldn't afford to get a lot of takeout, but a stirfry would be easy, quick and cheap. And he knew how to make it... He turned his head, catching Ginny's lips quickly. "See you soon." he grinned, pecking her nose, and walked out.
Before Chris went home, he stopped by the supermarket and bought bean sprouts, broccoli, chicken, mushrooms and peppers. He had rice at home. He also grabbed a box of cupcakes, knowing that it would get right up to his budget. It would probably be crappy, but it was 6 dollars, and Chris figured it couldn't hurt. He rushed home and took a shower as he steamed the rice, changing into an argyle sweater to try to impress Ginny. They had just started dating, he wanted to make a good impression.
He sauteed the vegetables and cooked the chicken and quickly piled plates with food. He set the coffee table and set down pillows, seeing as he didn't have a real table and just a counter, a coffee table and couch and a bed in another room. Of course, the bathroom was there, too, but all the water was paid for. He got out glasses and washed them, running his fingers through his hair and mussing it up.
Finally, after what seemed like forever but couldn't have been more than 20 minutes, the bell rang. As to not seem to excited, Chris counted to ten before striding over to the door. He took a deep breath and opened it, a smile gracing his face. "Hey..." he breathed, leaning in to kiss Ginny's cheek. "Hey, little man!" he exclaimed, leaning down to Alex. "I hope you're hungry! Come on in." he grinned and stepped aside. "Can I pour you some wine?" he murmured to Ginny, walking over to the fridge and pouring wine for them and milk for Alex.
