"Well? What is it?" She got up and looked in the drawer. "Well that's not nearly as exciting as I had hoped." She picked up the envelope and tossed it on the desk. "And the search goes on." Kaori said in an exhausted and sarcastic tone. Whatever the envelope contained wasn't of any interest to Kaori. All she knew was that it wasn't what she was after. She would hand the envelope to Nixie when she saw her next. "I think I deserve a break." Kaori said to Austin. She stretched and yawned then sat down on the table next to the envelope.

"I need to drive Nixie to our hotel," Austin replied. He picked up the enveloped and started towards the door. "And then we can pick up the blue-prints for this place, which should help us find whatever it is your looking for. What is it, by the way? If I had an idea what you're looking for, I might be able to led some expertise."

"I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you." She said and gave a giggle. "Sorry... I've always wanted to say that. Nixie told me that I can't talk about it." She was kicking her feet around under the desk and then decided to hop off. She cocked her head in thought and said "Just look for odd gaps in the construction where extra rooms like this could be. By the way, I don't have a phone so what do I do if something happens here while you're gone?"

"I'll pick up a phone for you," Austin offered as he left the building. Back at the car, he passed the envelope to Nixie through the window and held the door open for Kaori.

Kaori obliged him and hopped in the car. "Thanks" she said to Austin. She thought about it and how much she had changed in the last couple days. Just last night she had told him off for such courtesies and now she was thanking him. Maybe it's just him? After a bit of thought she was sure she would have yelled at any guy aside from him and she contented herself with that.

Austin drove the ladies to the hotel first. Nixie got out of the car with the envelope and waved as they took off towards the architect's office. She checked in and found the suite easily. In the quiet of the clean sitting room the opened the enevlope. Inside was a deed. Nixie groaned--it was just one more place to look. She Googled the address on her phone and her stomach sunk even lower. It was a club. Not a nice club that she could easily waltz into, but an underground fetish club. She would have to talk to Austin and Kaori about how to in. Meanwhile, Austin pulled up to the architect's office, which was coincidentally next to a mobile phone store. "Why don't we get you a cell?" Austin suggest. "It'll give you a bit more independence."

"Yeah sure, and if they sell jet packs I'll take one of those too." she said sarcastically. She knew that her 'independence' was already pretty much gone. But the up side was that there was good company. She hopped out of the car and walked up beside Austin. She hung off his arm affectionately and walked with him.

"Don't look so glum. It's not like she's put a collar and leash on you or anything," Austin teased gently. He kind of liked her hanging onto him like that. "Come on, I'll get a sparkly one that plays a lot of games." Inside he picked out a phone and offered it to her.

She stuck her tongue out at him. "No sparkles you jerk." "I'm guessing that the phone has to reflect the same thing that my clothes do..." She said with distaste. She looked down at the phone he had offered to her. It looked expensive. "So long as it doesn't have sparkles. And make it black."

"Hey, your phone can be whatever you want it to be. Here's a nice one--very shiny!" he held it up and teased her as if it was a treat. He looked over at the sales associate. "We'll take this one!"

Austin grinned and turned away to pay the cashier. The way she crossed her arms accented her cleavage, and he didn't want to get caught mesmerized by her beautiful assets. "Now I have to grab those technical plans for you," he said. He pulled out her phone and put his number in the first speed dial slot. Then he handed it to her. "Here."

She raised her eyebrow at him "I said black." She kept her arms crossed and ignored his attempt to hand her the phone. She knew that she would probably lose this little argument but she wasn't going to budge.

"It is black," he said, pointing to the black parts as they walked to the architect's office. "It's also got chrome trim. If you want, I can trick it out with duel exhaust and a NOS boost. Or would you prefer something encrusted with black diamonds--because I can do that too."

"Feel free to so long as you don't want to have children." She retorted and grabbed the phone from him. She tossed it in her purse without looking at it. "I can't read these signs... which one is the right office?" she asked.
