Kaley was bored again. She taken to visiting several of the other patients, as was a nurses suggestion. It would help her get used to not try to use her voice. She didn't like that, but it was true. As of late she had just spent time keeping this one woman company. Zero was her name.
Kaley turned the corner and walked into the room, closing the door behind her. As she turned, she notice there were several people already there. She froze, uncertain and hands already reaching to open the door again. She didn't want to disturb them.

" Oh." Zero said wincing as she sat up and smiled slightly as she looked over at Kaley and smiled gently " You can come in...my son crimson was just telling me something." Zero said chuckling gently as Crimson paled slightly before walking over to one of the chairs and sitting down

Dr. Olsen did not understand what Emma was trying to get at. She wanted to be loved by someone that won't leave her just because she was pregnant and now because of her disability.

Renee was ready to support Crimson if he needed her, but he was able to tell his mother on his own. She walked over and looked at Zero's charts and was ready to say something when another guest arrived. Renee had seen her around before and knew it was a good thing that she was intereacting with others. She nodded acknowledgingly and excused herself from the room to get on with her other duties and talk to a doctor about Crimson and his mother.

Zero chuckled softly as the nurse left before sighing as she closed her eyes for a moment a small movement in her stomach woke her up and she rubbed it gently being careful with the bandages

Olsen looked at the woman. She seemed to understand that he would keep telling her how it should be. "Just remember that you don't know until you try. Remember I'm always a click of a button away." The man pointed out.

Kaley did as she was bidden and sat in the nearest chair. She glanced at Crimson and nodded a greeting. After a moment she pulled out her notebook and wrote out a sentence in bold clean print. Easily readable. HI. I'M KALEY. WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE, CRIMSON? Kaley held is out for him to see with a sheepish smile, as if apologizing for talking this way.

Crimson laughed a bit as he looked at her " Nice to meet you." Crimson said and rolled his eyes for a moment and sighed as he looked at his mom who shook her head " Honestly your like your father more and more." Zero said and winced slightly from the baby kicking her

Kaley frowned. She wished she could use ASL but only a few deaf people knew it. So she scribbled another line.
DO YOU NEED ANYTHING, ZERO?
She hated to see the woman in so much pain. She was amazed that her baby was still alive and well after all she'd been through. Still it made it ruff for her. Kaley could plainly see that.

Zero frowned as she shook her head for a moment and smiled gently as she looked over at her and blinked at Crimson who was using sign language " When did you learn to do that." Zero asked looking at Crimson who shrugged

~Time Skip 3 weeks~
Darlene messed around with pregnancy test in her hand. She still had a few sets of stitches, but some of them had be pulled out. Just a little less then halfqui of them. Her arm were getting better and had wheeled herself down to the cafeteria that morning. She didn't wait for Grey. She was too busy thinking about how she was going to tell him. She quickly pocketed her test and walked over to the meal line. She was going to make too trips because he could only carry one tray at a time. She didn't want Grey to worry about getting his meal and it gave her something to do while she thought. The meal of the day was french toast, bacon, and some eggs. The woman put a small bottle of syrup and two cups of orange juice on the table before she sat down and slowly munched and played with her food.

Kaley saw and smile brightly. it was such I relief not to have to write on the stupid notebook.
"You know you are the first person who can sign here who isn't deaf. Excluding myself." she signed, her hands moving fast and precisely.
