At least give a little warning-" Who was he kidding, it was all for one and one for one. He just stood there, arms crossed and frowning.

The smoke had done well to catch Vel's attention really. There were some things going on nearby that she hadn't noticed earlier. Oh good! It looked like there was another fight going on here but she couldn't really see through the smoke at the moment. "Jacking hell! Was that really necessary?" she hissed while trying to make her way through the clouds. She tripped over Selene's body as a result.

Rowly didn't even have a second to even open his mouth or let alone blink. Bella had been quick. Rowly was completely stunned and a little unsure what to do or say. Silence took over his mouth while Amazement took over his features. He stood there and was completely useless. Maybe he was being useless on purpose from amusement or maybe he really didn't know what to say. It was all unclear with the way his features were pressed up in amazement. ".. Smoke.." Came out a little delayed. Bella had that effect on him. Was that Vanth with her?

Murdoch cursed as the panther got in his way. Jacking familiars. Letting his FEAR wash over him, the zombie ran at Janus. Using the panther as a step, he launched himself up to perch on a tall pile of random junk that had yet to be cleared. HP: 50 Target: Janus/Vanth Damage: 17 FEAR: Battle Cry

She immediately began to comfort her brother. Tarot smiled softly, patting Arcana on the back. “Shhhh. Arcana it’s okay. It’s fine—oh.”
How did…no. It couldn’t have been that bad, right? “Don’t put yourself down so much. I’m sure she’ll forgive you if you go over and apologize to her sincerely. She likes you a lot, right?”
And then she saw Murdoch.
Tarot immediately let go of Arcana and called out in a loud, firm voice. “HEY. What are you doing? You better not think of doing it again!” She pulled out her sword and stood in front of Janus and Vanth.

It was just one thing after another with Rengath and Murdoch. Hands balled into fists, Argyle scrunched his face up into another one of those super serious frowns, debating which one of them to punch first. And then the answer was made pretty clear to him. He watched on in horror as Murdoch retaliated to the escape-prevention. Reaching him with the smokescreen intact might prove to be a little troublesome, but if he found something to throw... He picked up a discarded shoe - why was there always just one? - and hurled it towards Murdoch. " Don't touch her! And him. And....just no touching anybody, okay?!" dmg: 12 IT WAS A STEEL-TOED BOOT?? target: Murdoch

Arcana buried his head in Tarot's shoulder more and shook his head.
"She was disguised as a bush and then she was on fire and I was just trying to help but...but I think...I TOUCHED SOMETHING I SHOULDN'T SO..." He flushed and shook his sister.
Then a smoke bomb dropped and he coughed, clearing it from his eyes to see Murdoch attacking Vanth. His sister already moving past him to put herself up as a shield.
"Vanth!" Arcana hurried over too, stumbling after his sister and pulling his Tarot cards out. His magic forming. "Here! I'll heal you!" He glared at Murdoch as he placed cards on Vanth. the glowed for a fraction of a second before disappearing into her, healing the wound she had just taken from the battle cry.
Once that was said and down, Arcana noticed Selene was not too far off lying on the ground unmoving. JACK. Was....WAS SHE ATTACKED TOO!?!?
"S..Selene!" He rushed over to her side. "Selene....Speak to me Selene."HP: 50 Target: Janus/Vanth Healing: 16 FEAR: The Chill iizbot ROlling the right die sorry QQ

Wincing at the hit, and looking down at the boot with incredulity, Murdoch shook his head and tossed it down, not even bothering to aim for the other students. The smoke was already clearing out, and so he just sat down on his tower of Junk, rested an elbow on his knee, and asked conversationally, "Do you know...that I didn't actually set anything on fire? Nor was I spying on other students. I didn't even make, the first aggressive move. All I tried to do, was get away from what looked to be a violent situation. And you chose to stop me." He looked down at the battle-ready students, "And yet I'm the one in the wrong. It's funny how your idea of equality only extends to your friends and creatures an entire world away."

Selene was tripped over, covered in smoke, and then back in Arcana's arms again. She couldn't even focus on the embarrassing situation from a moment ago, she was too bewildered by the madness around her. She curled up in Arcana's arms and hissed wildly. "Are we going to die tonight, Arcie?"Always with the dying, that Selene.

With the smoke quickly filling the air around them, Taru feared for the tiny lungs of her little cerbpuppy. Three noses and only one set of lungs...it just didn't seem to be very good odds. Her claws tore into her shirt just above her navel and she ripped it into two large strips - a mask for each of them. She tied her own makeshift mask over her face, tucked Bee carefully under her arm, and draped the fabric over all three of his heads. Safe for now! The chaos seemed to further indicate that, yes, that treasure really had made them all crazy. There were attacks flying left and right, a boot sailing through the air, princesses...? "Can everyone CALM YOUR s**t?" she asked, muffled beneath the cloth.
