Seeing her paternal aunt involved, Soleil felt a new surge of confidence as she jumped to tackle. Even if she missed, it was no matter. They had their goal, and there were plenty of them to perform it. The question she had to ask, though, was if Hraga was going to get involved. Or, rather, how soon? She swiped a paw, keeping her claws back, as she tried to take down her 'foes'. A grin lit up her face as her paw connected, though she knew this wasn't quite enough yet. Someone else was likely going to take her out. Her attention was so focused, she didn't pay Hraga any mind quite yet.
She suddenly let out a surprised sound, twisting at the feeling of a paw on her... Only to watch Roho get knocked over by someone.

she saw an opening. One of the Hongshan, the one with the strange, pinkish color, had been pushed a bit further away from her companions. With a smirk, Kalama rushed back in, squeezing between her foes to get at Tswana's side. The other lioness writhed and attempted to retaliate, but ultimately the firekin won.
She didn't have time to sing her victory, though, lest the remaining two knock her out. So she whipped around, attempting to shove Azar off balance (it failed) before hurrying away.
Sjari was doing his best to keep up with the fighting, but it was a little hard. The other firekin were much stronger, and there seemed to be a lot of pushing and shoving to get to the enemy. He wasn't even feeling that into it, since two out of three targets were Hongshan.
One out of two, now. He frowned as Tswana was downed, then promptly abandoned on the floor. Fearing she might get trampled, he hurried in. In a real battle he wouldn't try to save the enemy, but this was a game! So while Tswana seemed quite dedicated to playing dead [if one ignored her growling when people got close], he grabbed onto the scruff of her neck and pulled her away.
"What are you doing?" She hissed, proving to heavy to drag more than a couple steps. Especially when she swatted at Sjari's face.
"Helf me get you ouf," He mumbled through her fur. He felt her groan more than heard it, amid all the growling. But she relented, and used her hind paws to propel herself away from the thick of the battle, as Sjari continued to pull on her scruff. Once he felt she was far enough not to get stampeded, Sjari left he, and went back to the last two.

As Badieh smacked into Azar, she was dismayed by how little 'damage' she had done, even if this was a game. He was a large and forceful opponent, but she knew tricks, tricks her family gave her that would prove prosperous in the pits of battle. She snarled at him and watched as one of the group was felled, and she grinned. She peered to Azar while moving herself back, creating some distance but keeping a sharp eye.
Your mine her eyes said to him with a smirk, but not yet and she moved to go for the other female, to rub her strength down as well.
All while this occurred Ryujin stood close by to Naar, refusing to remove himself from where she would be. He couldn't protect his sister as she had been with the other group, but he' be damned if he couldn't protect Naar. He'd dare one of the others to come close, he'd show them what hidden strength truly was.

Being overwhelmed.
Roho knew that feeling. Knew it just as all the other Hongshan members knew it. And, for a horrible moment, the Firekin in team one became Nergui. Bloodthirsty and merciless and terrible. Her throat closed up as the memories came to skew her vision, her sides heaving in the beginnings of panic. Her paws slipped but, thankfully, Azar was there, dragging her back away from the oncoming horde.
Together, they began to back away, to try and find height amongst the rocks and gain an advantage - slim as the chances of that were.
And then Soleil was back and she snarled in part terror, part anger. She twisted, and tried to move sideways - only to find herself against Azar. The corporal turned with a ferocious snarl, the threat of death flashing in his eyes as he moved to defend his last standing comrade. But then the Firekin lost her balance and was gone.
"Come on." He grunted, giving Roho a shove with his shoulder. "We need to get out of here."
And then Kalama's paw came down on the Hongshan's face and she reeled, her whole body poised to lunge forwards. Azar'bijan saw the mistake coming before it happened.
The Hongshan female lurched forwards to try and get Kalama to back away and Soleil's attack came as a surprise. Roho went down amongst the masses and Azar lost sight of her as he continued to back away, trying to get into a better position to press the attack even when it was clearly so futile.
His paw came up again, swatting heavy-handedly at those who dared come close.

Man, it was such a shame Kalama hadn't been in position to capitalize on Roho's mistake. The firekin backed away the the Hongshan lurched forwards, meaning to dive back and go for her once again. But Soleil surprised her, as well, by taking down the other female.
She growled, irritated. It was almost like someone had stolen her kill! Well, at least she could say the down had only been possible because of her provocation. She dodged around Soleil and Roho as Azar moved back, trying to ram him with a shoulder, hoping to knock him off balance.
This time it was a bit harder to get to his Hongshan companion, but fortunately Azar was still backing away, moving the brunt of the attackers away from Roho. Still, the black male hurried over to stand beside his strange-eyed 'sister'. "It's almost done," He Sjari quietly, doubting she could hear. His main focus now was just being a barrier. He might have tried to do the same as he'd done with Tswana, but Roho seemed more on edge and wild, and he didn't want to startle her.

One more left, only one, and Badieh turned her gaze onto the large red male. She looked to Sjari briefly, then to Azar, not to take his eyes off him. She heard the roars in the distance coming closer, and she smirked.
"It's over, Azar," and she leapt for him paws outstretched.
As Badieh leaped forward a dark mass descended from above, Kai's body came down towards Azar as Ka had come up on his flank.
They were swarming him now, rushing him back into the corner, Ka grinned as he came up towards him with his sister in tow, looking to Ryujin briefly with a smirk watching him protect the orangey female.
As the three went for him, backing him into the corner, Mwako'Damu looked to Badieh who seemed to give him a half nod, and as Mwako'Damu rushed forward he then dropped to the ground, swiping his body sideways out towards Azar's legs to take his weight out from under him, Badieh, Ka and Kai surrounding him as Mwako moved.
Ryujin smiled as a silence seemed to stall everyone's movements for a moment, their war was over.

Roho, panting, glanced up at Sjari gratefully. She could not speak because she did not have the breath to do so, but the fur along her shoulders had smoothed. She was better.
---
So many lions. Eyes all on him.
He gave another roar and jolted forwards in a fake lunge, hoping to get them to back away. Whether it worked or not, however, really didn't matter. Not with fresh reinforcements arriving...overwhelming.
The fur on his shoulder prickled upwards as he sensed someone leaping for him and he half-turned to see Kai and Ka descending on him. He span, moving his bulk out of harm's way until his hind-quarters were pressed against the stone - blocking his escape. There was no time to climb now, not with them all swarming so close. One step to go up and they'd simply drag him down.
This was it then, the end.
He fought valiantly, throwing his weight around in an attempt to keep them at bay. But he was tiring now and with his men (or...women) felled, it truly was lost. He slapped a paw outwards, aimed at Badieh and then Mwako struck.
Balanced only on three legs at the time - one fore paw outstretched mid-attack - the attacking Mwako swept him straight off of his paws. He landed heavily on his side, the breath snatched from his lungs and then, when he opened his eyes he saw stars.
The mighty Azar'bijan had been vanquished.
