Downstairs seemed like a good place to start, as they had to have some kind of register or...something. It was a good a lead as any anyway, Encore thought as she disappeared through the door, and down to the reception, not pausing for her companion as she knew he would follow. Out Of Character:

As she tip-toed and peered at the registry which was put to one side just in her view, she felt herself feeling a little anxious all of a sudden. What if they didn't find Medley? What about that incident with the women in white last night? Her gaze flickered over to the smiling Nikolai, confused not only by the incident but also by his expression. After being cooped up for so long in the lab, frozen, she wasn't perfect at interacting with others. Out Of Character:

When she did she simply shook her head, shuddering at the reminder of the place she had once called 'home'. She had been forced to do horrible things, that was true, but that wasn't what scared her right now. Encore looked up at Nikolai;"No, it wasn't anyone like that. There were just these people....in white...dragging someone away. It sounded painful."Encore felt herself stiffen as she recalled the thumps she had heard, eyes now alert and fearful. Even more confused, she shook her head; "It wasn't a vision, I don't have any special abilities, well only one, but it doesn't count for anything."Encore's head lowered slightly, as if ashamed, remembering how useless she had been to her 'father' and brother for a brief moment (save for her tough body). Shaking herself out of it she looked at Nikolai and shook her head as a 'no' in response to his question, having not been able to see the figures face. It all happened so quickly too.
