Oh, now they had to discuss sleep, didn't they. Ura's right eye suddenly twitched at the conversation, his hand slowly pulling the sake glass even closer. In a swift motion he chugged that sucker without a second thought. The glass was placed back down with a soft thud, yet his fingers still lingered upon the empty container. Oh yeah, he was so totally going to need more alcohol to last through the night.
And his eye twitched again, gaze turning to Aurora as she spoke. He wasn't aware she had left but did notice it had been a while since she last talked. Taking in a deep breathe, he turned away again to stare at the table, which he could have sworn was getting a little haze about it. Huh, interesting.

"She..." Rora hesitated, remebering the dream Zanna had before. She couldn't exactly tell everyone everything, so she continued, "She's a warrior princess. Like Xena, but a better dresser and without a blonde sidekick."
She blinked when she saw Ura stare at her out of the corner of her eye. She had to sit close to him, didn't she?! Urgh. Rora sipped at her wine, as the second course for everyone was brought.
Food, yes. Food could distract her!

Kami kept silent, finishing the letter she had been writing to Ray just as the food came to the table. Sealing the letter in an envelope, she put the proper things on the front of it before placing it back in her purse along with the sketch pad she had offered Sim who had politely refused her.
Trying the food that was placed in front of her, she found it tasted really good. She really wasn't picky when it came to food unless it was mushrooms, Pata didn't like them either and neither did she like fish. Oh well, her loss.
Finishing up the bread upon her plate, Kami wiped her mouth with the napkin that was in her lap in order to prevent her pretty dress from getting dirty. She focused her gaze on Ronin with a smile, gosh, he was so cute, the simu wondered if perhaps that was how she acted when she was younger.

"Before sunrise?!" Sim gasped, his expression simply aghast at the thought of rising before light. "But... but that's still in the evening!" he shudders, visibly.

Zanna raised her eyebrow at Rora's explanation of who she was, pretending not to notice as she looked over at Ura, who seemed a bit out of it. Curiously, she watched his actions as she leaned back from the table and let the waiter set down her first course, which she dug into happily as her eyes flicked from person to person, mostly lingering on Ura.

Ura remained unaware of Zanna's lingering glances at him. He was currently staring at food like it was salvation. Sweet wonderful turkey, it smelled intoxicating and so totally beat cups of ramen and goldfish crackers. Sure, the salad before was good. But, this was cooked.. on a stove or something. Mismatched eyes twinkled with adortion, hand reaching over for his fork and knife. Oh, how little he cared how lame he looked as he cut into the food and savored the first bite. Oh how it melted upon his tongue.
The teen then looked up, attention back at the rest of the table occupants .. as if suddenly aware there were others around. Pretend nothing was wrong, nothing is weird! If they thought things were weird then they might ask questions and he might blurt things out! Bad! His fingers grasped his refiled glass of sake and pulled it again closer but stopped midway. If he got too drunk then they'd ask questions and he wasn't sure if he was the type to blurt out things while toxicated. Ura pushed the glass back a little and coughed, eyes darting about. He suddenly caught one of Zanna's glances and blinked. But she was looking at the others as well. Wait, She was back at him again. She didn't suspect anything did she? Pretend nothing is wrong, gawddammit! His eyes fell to his food again. No, nothing was wrong, he told himself, cutting into the bird again.

She narrowed her eyes at his rather, interesting ritual he was taking with his food, and his glass of, something other than water. It didn't have ice in it. With a lopsided grin, Zanna finished chewing the bite of food she just shoved into her mouth and then finally spoke. "You okay Ura? You look a bit... dizzy..."

It was simple enough to pretend to be engrossed with his food, his subtle glances at Zanna and Ura passing off as looking for condiments. Daintilly, he sliced into his lasagna, methodically cutting them into bite-sized squares that would not threaten spillage or staining.
He forked one of the cubes and ate it, audibly savoring his meal. "Mmmmm m! Fantastic! So much better than mother's poor attempts at cuisine." he grinned to no one in particular.

"'m Fine..." Ura muttered, placing another helpful of turkey into his mouth. Oh, how that was a lie. But if she asked again, he had another - look to sake - a few reasons to cover up what was really getting at him. Oh yes, fall back plans. Awesome to have, his inner mind squealed with glee.
"At least yours attempts..." The teen remarked to Sim as his fingers pulled his glass of sake closer. Yes, steer the conversation away from his health. He was fine, dammit! Ura casually brought the liquid to his lips and took a sip and placed it back down.

Aurora listened to the others as she started her meal. She was still a bit put off by food like this, the heavier meat food that threatened weight gain. She hadn't shaken off her old fears still, but at least she could eat now?
And everynow and then, she'd give Ura a stare. He looked kind of odd, and Aurora thought it might throw him off a bit more. Thrown off Ura was a good thing!
After a bit, she pushed the plate back and gazed around at the other people around them, admiring clothing and jewellery.

Alright, so nobody was paying attention anyway. Now and then Ronin glanced at Princess Rora before digging into the chicken's flesh with his spork. Because he wasn't aware of the species turkey it was just some kind of chicken for him.
Ummm....delicious. The young Simu enjoyed his meal and was fond of himself to have made such a good decision on the food. First of all the salad and now the nice chicken. Although it was quite a lot for a boy's stomach. His chewing became slower and slower and he looked at the other's plates to make sure he wasn't the only one. But esspecially Ura seemed to be eating like mad. Damn it, now he had to go on...

"Ugh, believe me, with what mother ends up concocting, she might as well have fed me caster oil and that still would have been more palatable." Sim wretched dramatically, "If it weren't for the medusa and the panda, I'd have starved myself into nothingness. Or would have tried my hand at the stove." Sim nodded sagely.

"Heaven forbid you ever try and cook for yourself..." Zanna murmered slightly before looking back up at Ura after his previously disregarded response, eyeing him up again. "Really now... Coulda fooled me..."
With a light grin she returned back to eating, the fact that Elijah wasn't there hitting a rather sore spot in her. He just didn't want to see her, was her conclusion.
He had brushed by her earlier, not really said anything to her, and now he wasn't at dinner. a**. She was starting to think that men really weren't worth all the hassle and whatnot.

"Well, I suppose before I attempt at culinary tasks, I should be dressed appropriately... but all the aprons and mitts I've come across were horribly plain! Not in the least bit as interesting and fabulous as I would prefer them to be." Sim states, and flips his feather boa around his neck.
