"It doesn't stop the voices Adrian. They get a little quieter, but they don't stop." She said, her right hand tightening into a fist. "There are some days I want to take drugs again, just to get them to stop. That's the only time they ever would..." She murmured.

"Just try to ignore them." Adrian told her. "You've got three voices here that love you, and one that could kick those voices' a**, and those are the voices you should be paying attention to." he said with a soft smile. "We just need to find more ways to drown them out."

"It's harder than it sounds..." She murmured. Amaya shook her head, letting out a sigh as she moved out of Adrian's hold. "I'll be fine Adrian. Let's just go." She told him, heading back inside now, nodding at Cali and Riley to follow.
"Sorry for earlier mom..." Cali said sheepishly as she came over and gave her mom a hug.

Putting the phone down, he looked at Roran. "It's the zoo again. That rhino named Danger isn't eating again. It's been two days, apparently. They're asking for you to hurry over before his health becomes at risk." Kantern opened a file cabinet, pulling out a manilla folder with a lot of paper held within. Placing the folder on his desk, he pulled a form out of his desk as well, handing that one to Roran. "You know what to do." He also handed Roran the keys to the Lexus. "Don't scrath her up."
Taking everything that was handed to him, Roran smirked. "It's not like you couldn't afford to fix it, or even buy a hundred new ones to replace it." Heading for the door, he held it open for his dogs. "Call me if I need to run somewhere else!" With that, he was out the door.
Driving was never an issue for Roran. He had learned how to, but at the same time saw no reason in driving everywhere when it was all so close by. Location of clients, however, was another matter entirely. The zoo, for example, was a good half hour away from the office by vehicle, much longer by foot. Looking in his rear view mirror, Zorlund was laying on the back seat. Moving his right hand over to the passenger seat, he scratched behind Jezzy's ears. Pulling into the zoo parking lot, he sighed, "Here we go guys."

"Thanks. It's okay.". Amaya murmured as she hugged both of her kids real fast and kissed their heads. "You going to the bookstore?" she asked Cali, sighing as she saw the girl nod.
"I'll be home in a few hours. I'm doing research on some set designs.". Cali told her, resituating her bag on her shoulder.

((OH THANK JESUS THE WATER'S BACK. Last night there wasn't a drop of water in the whole dorm building. Not a toilet, sink, or shower was working. I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I don't like my dorm very much.... ~_~ ))
"I thought that was like, what rooms look like and stuff. What's to research?" Riley asked raising an eyebrow at her. As a ten year old boy, he of course got his kicks by mocking his older sister's work and interests.

"Well for starters, I need some point of reference. You ever try making up a new environment from scratch?" Cali asked as she rolled her eyes. "I like to see how other people describe settings, see pictures of different places in the world. I could put a plant from Africa in a setting for some place in New Zealand. I don't think any director is going to like it if I can't do simple research and get references.". She told him, slightly annoyed that he thought she could just do whatever she wanted. It was actually a lot of work to create and environment and props to go along with it, and it took a lot of energy got her to control.

"Sure, I'll have some real nerds to argue with since your dad still refuses to watch Lord of the Rings with me." Amaya said as she lead Riley out of
Burger King and off towards the comic book store.
Cali just shrugged and waved goodbye to her family, heading off in the opposite direction to do some more research.

"No, your sister is a movie nerd." Amaya said as she slipped her hands in her pockets. "And I'm a gamer nerd. I just haven't had much time to play yet." She told him, sticking her tongue out in defiance.
