Buttercup hesitated for a moment, then joined Ren and Thunderbolt. She dug her paws into the ground, trying to prepare herself mentally. Knowing that she had no powers at the moment did not help calm her nerves.

❣ Ren looked at Buttercup, "You don't have to-" She heard a gun shoot off in the distance. Just before it hits buttercup she stops it with a little ball of light. She turns it around, then makes it go the way it came and hit the sniper. She hears his scream as he doesn't understand what happened. ❣

Buttercup looked over at Ren. "I am not a coward." She simply said, standing her ground.

"They're here sooner than I thought." Thunderbolt said.
With a blast from his boosters and leaving a trail of lightening he triangulated the signals coming from the human recon. He would leave the grunts to Buttercup and Ren for now and come back when he's finished.
From the distance, he spotted the man he was looking for with binoculars on a radio.

Three humans were approaching straight ahead of them. Smiling, buttercup turns to Ren, "Its on....." she said in a determined voice. Growling, buttercup charges towards the center human and attacks.

❣ Ren looks at the humans and simply puts up one of her paws, and makes a ball of light appear around the one on the right and another one around the one on the left. It slowly rips them to pieces inside of the light, leaving nothing left behind. ❣

Buttercup tears the neck from the human she was attacking. As the human collapsed, buttercup noticed the other two humans exploding from the light that Ren had placed on them. Buttercup shuddered at the thought of dying from internal explosions as she walked back to where Ren was standing.
"Well that was quick." Buttercup commented, licking the blood off her jaws.

The reconnaissance human begun to flee the battlefield whilst talking on the radio. Before he can get another word in, his left hand along with the radio holding it was torn from him.
In Thunderbolt's mouth was a bloody left hand holding on a radio. On the other end of the radio, he can hear human ranting and static. The noise was drowned out over the scream of the human in front of him, holding his bloody stump where his hand once was.
Growing tired of his screams, he dropped the items in his mouth and pounced on him, digging electric claws into his chest. The human's body convulsed as he was electrocuted from the inside out.
Leaving the fried corpse, he stomped on the radio before heading back to Ren and Buttercup.

❣ Ren goes over to a radio that the Human that Buttercup killed held in her hand when Thunderbolt gets back. She spoke into it in the Human language, "All clear." She holds one of her paws up in the air, what seems like a fountain of light comes out of it. She mutters some words and it surrounds their territory. She makes it so any Humans in it are ripped to pieces with no sign of that they were there, and if any Human ventures into the now invisible light surrounding their territory, they will die. "Well, we won't have to deal with the Humans any time soon." ❣

Buttercup's heart flutters when she notices that thunderbolt is standing next to her. Not wanting to embarrass herself, she remains silent.

Strongheart was out growing flowers and other plants when she heard fighting in the distance. She had noticed another, strange wolf close to her, yet was more worried about her pack mates. She then decided to run in the direction of where she heard the gunshot and fighting. She picked up several pack members' scents and dashed in that direction, thinking, 'I hope everyone's alright.' She kept running and then came to a complete stop when she saw a human machine. 'What is that?' she thought before noticing the downed trees. She then noticed, Thunderbolt, Buttercup and a strange fox, however, the fox smelled familiar.
Strongheart walked over to them and asked, "What happened and is everyone alright?"
