iiTetshinji-Kun Fairly well, thanks In search of my Emerald Version XD
You??? I'm doing alright. Emerald? I just can't get around to finishing up the story of my copy. I mean I've played and beat the game before and I do like the storyline but I just hate grinding and just can't get around to doing that to get past Victory Road.

iiTetshinji-Kun Lol. I always use maps to get through Victory Road XD I'm too lazy to venture through the thing It's not that I don't want to try dealing with getting through the maze of victory road, I haven't even battled Wally there yet. It's just that I need to level up my team to battle him before trying to get past victory road and I hate grinding.

Might that be the reason why you use PokeGen, rather than training the old fashioned way???

That and I don't know how to figure out my pokemon's IVs and since I don't know how to do that, I don't know how to breed for good IVs. If I did and had a lot of free time then I'd probably do some breeding and grinding.

Well... I'm actually not the best at explaining them, but my Vice Captain could help you out a lot more than I could Should be able to learn fairly quickly with him

If I did and had a lot of free time then I'd probably do some breeding and grinding. As for the finding out of your pokemon's IVs; http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Stats_judge Skip on down to the Generation V part. If you want exact IVs go here http://serebii.net/games/iv-calcdp.shtml. Those will get you the IVs for your pokemon. After that just keep switching out the pokemon you get in the eggs that you are breeding that have better IVs than what is in the daycare and keep repeating until you get the IVs you want. Or you can do what I do and have a master key ditto. I have one with 31 IVs in every stat except for Sp.Def. For that I have a separate ditto. It is much easier. If you have any other questions just let me know.

Um, I noticed that there were some IV calculators from the Ipod app store, would it be worth getting one of them since I don't have internet access for very long each day when I'm at home due to having to use my dad's workphone as a modem and it having a data plan per month.

It depends on the app. If you have to pay for it, I would say probably not. If its free, absolutely, why not! If you are willing to pay for one, just tinker around with the one on Serebii so that you know how it works and what the calculator would need. Then make sure that the app has all of those. Anything after that is up to you. I personally just use the IV guy in the game. I go for perfect IVs for all my competitive battling pokemon, so I dont have much need for the exact IV calcs.

I have to check the ap store again but I think it was like 99 cents.

Dareous I have to check the ap store again but I think it was like 99 cents. Well then it is purely up to you. If you dont have a whole lot of internet access, it might be worth your while. In the end, it is your call.
