Almost as soon as she had begun to race forward, the little girl find herself forced to halt. She had come to an intersection of sewer canals, one large pipe pouring sewage into the larger canal she'd been walking alongside all this time.
This in and of itself wasn't a problem, however the existence of this place caused a different issue. What first appeared to be a Master Ball would be sitting in the middle of the path...but as a head tilted, and similarly shaped arms moved up to block the way, the air would seem to shimmer. It was a Foongus of a most rare colouration, and seemed it wouldn't let them pass.
">Sorry folks! This here's a Ducklett crossin!<" The Foongus announced in a slight country accent ">Now I know what yer thinkin, and it's true we don't get many Ducklett round these parts; but doggonit! I'm gonna be prepared when they DO show up!<"
It seemed that to pass Victoria would have to first handle this Foongus; because unlike the Totodile it was more firmly rooted to the ground, and subsequently unpuntable.

The girl's answer was the literally throw the Sableye at her. What she wouldn't give for a pokeball at this moment, but that was obviously not one ...as she skids to a halt in front of it. Even as the dark ghost would be given his cue.
"Use scratch."
She declares loudly.
"No one ...nor pokemon shall get in the way of me getting that Grimer repeller." "And me become clean again ...."
Victoria's eyes were gloss over in madness as Phobia didn't even think about it ...as he would spin as he let his claws act like a drill to try and literally shred the foongus to pieces.

">Reckon that looks more like a propeller n' a repeller!<" The Foongus would shout out in reply as the Sableye came flying right at her. Scrunching down, the Foongus would raise both her mushroom shaped hands in front of her, that big spring dome also pointed in the direction of the ghost. She was using her mushroom tops like a shield; though one had to wonder how well that would work given the size difference.

The shock in the change made him draw his claws downwards as he crosses his arms to shield. Hitting the top of the Mushroom hat he would literally bound upwards before landing back down on the ground on his head ...as he collapse. Somehow he had gotten weaker since the girl had lost her fear of him, or was it more like she had gotten distracted with the terror of that Grimer.
He wasn't sure which as he slowly got back to his feet and started to work on making himself disappear again. His entire body going clear as he used the ghost normal defensive mechanism against an opponent.
He would fade away.

">Now now, no running away just cause the dun gone n' branded yerself!<" The Foongus shouted, pulling her arms away from her body and looking up. Watching the Sableye the toxic Grass-Type would give a sharp whistle, then suddenly begin to spray a the entire area with a stinging purple acid. It wasn't the same sort of stuff the Solosis had been using before, but rather the natural corossives produced by produced by her digestive system. This was Gastro Acid! She'd mark that ghost good so even if he tried to disappear she could find em!

(3 - 1 + 9 - 8 = 3dmg/2 = 1.5 rounds to 2dmg)
(-1 to defensive rolls)
The ghost pokemon would get a bit of ...the same greetings as Aella had received before. The slime covering him ...even though he couldn't be seen anymore. The goo hissing and burning slightly as he would shake himself to get rid of as much as possible.
This was where ghost types had an advantage ...a true ghost type, because, when they vanish ...they vanish completely. He couldn't accomplish that, because of his dark counter-part.
Eyes sparkling as he would lash out ....at the Foongus. He really wanted this over with quickly ...as he uses scratch.

((Gastro Acid is a non-damaging attack. Actually it's effect doesn't even apply here, it was more like theatrics.))
The Foongus would meet the Sableye's attack would the same response as before. Lowering all three mushroom caps, she'd using the springy fungi as shields to protect her stem.

The Sableye would once more find himself flying through the air as he lands on his bottom. The pain would jar him a bit as he looks up at the girl whom could only sigh openly.
"I can kiss that Totodile goodbye."
She would declares sounding a bit pissed this time. As she looked at Phobia, and gave him a look that said nothing thing.
"I think its time we finally got it together as trainer and pokemon." "I need you to try and catch that pokemon at it's bottom ...aim for the roots and hit it hard with scratch." "I am going to try and send it flying once you dig it up."
She would declares sharply to him. It was obviously a counter-attack, but how would it work out was the real risk.

">Phew! Always get tired durin a good round up! Mind if a steal a little somethin to keep me goin?<" The Foongus would ask, though she didn't particularly wait for a reply. A moment later thin green orbs would begin to dot the air around the dark souled spectre, growing steadily larger as they sought to drain the strength from his body. It was an Absorb attack straight and simple; but how well would it work with those claws coming straight at her?

(17 -11 + 9 - 8 = 7x2 = 14dmg/2 = 7hp recoverd)
In that once move ...the Sableye would almost fall. He was just too weak without her terror ...as the girl would grimace a bit. She would simply call him back as she would pull out a second pokeball...the one pokemon that she knew could get the job done as she would send out the Emolga.
Aella would land on all fours as she would shake herself all over. She was better now that she was clean as she looks at the Foongus in front of her.
It was her time now as the Emogla would flick her tail a bit, and then look over at her trainer. She had to keep from laughing as she looks at what she was wearing along with the fact she was covered in slime.
((You seem to have a way with the things here ...))she joked as she went on the defensives.

Don't want any straight bolts hitting the Ducklett right?<" The Foongus called out ">I'd ask that you please leave the premesis little miss!<" The Pokemon seemed to be asking nicely enough, but then again Aella wouldn't be able to see the small green bubbles slowly growing on the back of her neck. Absorb again it would seem.

((Fine ..Fine ...so as not to hurt the duckletts))
Aella would start as she flicks her ear as if a bug had gotten onto her. She would scratch at it lightly and then smirk darkly.
((I won't use electric attack, but Air slash should be alright .....right.))
She would declares sharply as she would hop forward and started forward. Her tail ....was out straight as she rushes at the Mushroom ..coming at the right, and the seemingly to disappear as she hit from the left.
She was going to knock this pokemon loose of his hold on the ground as she whirls once her tail sending a rush of wind so strong that it threaten to rip her straight form the ground even as it cut the earth itself.

Firmly rooted to the ground, the Foongus would lower her head in front of her, raising her mushroom caped hands to her left and right to defend herself. It was really all she could do. She wasn't exactly in a position to dodge after all.

Even Aella was surprised as it worked ...she landed back on her paws as she took a few steps back. Her ears up as she looks at this pokemon in a completely different light. It really was a shame that she didn't have a pokeball, a grass type that have survived this many attacks from her or any of her team.
She had to admit she wouldn't have mind having it join them .....Victoria just bit her finger nail.
This was impossible.

">Nah tha wasn't very nice!<" The Foongus would declare rather loudly ">Flying-Type er not, what if'n that'd hit one of the poor little Ducklett?<" The Foongus declared, placing her mushroom caped hands on her stem as if she had hips ">You best settle down little miss! Before I go n' make ya settle down....n' fact!<" Without another word of warning bubbles began to dot the air all around the tunnel, green and glowing sphere's that steadily grew larger as they attempted to absorb every drop of energy contained within the Emolga!
