Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Tarik's stalking skills were bad lately. He was supposed to be keeping track of his fiance. She was the only reason he was even in this school. She made him feel like he wasn't good at flirting. He used to be really confident about flirting back at Egypt. But that was when girls fell in front of him all the time... figuratively.
So he tried stalking around and wandered everywhere all day. He finally found her at the beach after a lot of walking. He did not flirt with girls on the train... maybe. It's been a while since he ran into people showing obvious interest in him so maybe he did flirt with them a little. Like sitting a bit too close or saying cheesy words that only worked when girls were swooning. Well, he had an excuse. He needed help to get to places since he couldn't read.
Anyways, he found Angela.
"Angela. Look at this. I am able to write my name." Tarik said as he hurried over to her with a sheet of paper. It was a pamphlet about something he didn't know, but there were margins where his name was scribbled everywhere in terrible handwriting. He had asked a girl to help him with it during the train ride since he wanted to impress Angela. Besides from the bubbly handwriting of the one who wrote his name down for him, his scribbles were written all over the margins and then finally, written all over the letters of the pamphlet in green highlighter was his name in big letters that Tarik wrote himself.
"Disregard everything else. Read this." Tarik said as he handed her the pamphlet with the highlighter name side showing towards her._________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

Angela.Tremaine My heart is like the ocean, it gets in the way So close to touching freedom, then I hear the guards call my name... Angela was nearly to the water when she heard a familiar voice calling to her. What...was Tarik doing here?? How did he even find her? That was sort of creepy. Very Tarik-like, though. She sighed, shaking her head slightly. Well, she hadn't seen him in a while so she guessed could forgive him this once for...following her all the way to the beach and shoving a weird paper at her without even a hint of a greeting. She would drag him out to the water and give him a good dunking but she had a feeling if she tried, she'd just end up yanking his arm off.
And that would be awkward.
She took the pamphlet he was holding out to her and looked down at the horrible writing all over it. The name was written once, neatly, then dozens of other times in barely legible writing. She smiled slightly. "So you can. Well done." She looked up at him and smiled. "I suppose I can forgive, now, for skipping out on our reading sessions if you were working on learning this. Seriously, good work. You've made a lot of progress. I'm really proud."
"Though I was beginning to think you were avoiding me. It's good to see you. It feels like it's been a while." She looked around the beach. "I don't suppose you brought any clothes for swimming, did you? Since you're here, you might as well join me."
"And since you were working so hard to learn to write your name, it'll be good to take a break and play for a while, yeah?"You can say it one more time, what you don't like, Let me hear it one more time, then have a seat while I take to the sky.

Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Tarik grinned, proud of his creation. Also, Angela was rather proud, so he figured he should be proud too and the sound of praise was wonderful to his ears. Yes. Praise. Angela should praise him more often. He probably should not tell her that he had no idea what all the characters that made up his name were called.
"Ah, well, I have been doing errands-- erm--important security guard duties." Tarik answered. He will assume that was her way of saying how much she missed him.

Angela.Tremaine My heart is like the ocean, it gets in the way So close to touching freedom, then I hear the guards call my name... "I don't usually dress like this when I go for a run," Angela said, raising an eyebrow and smirking slightly. "I was thinking swimming." There was a small kiosk not far away, that was selling swim gear and swim accessories so Angela took Tarik's hand to drag him over, but thought better of it when she realized she could end up yanking his arm off again--and that would just be awkward.
She moved behind him, pushing him toward the kiosk. "Com on then. You can't go swimming in that. We've got to get you a swimming costume." When they had nearly reached the kiosk, she went to pick out a pair of orange and blue swim trunks for him, with white patterning. Holding them up briefly to eye-measure them against him, she paid for those and a towel.
Moments later, she rejoined them and held out the swim trunks. "Go change in those little rooms over there," she said, pointing to a row of changing rooms. "I'll wait out here." She started back to her towel, but looked back and smiled slightly. "Thanks for coming here. I'm glad to have some company for a change."You can say it one more time, what you don't like, Let me hear it one more time, then have a seat while I take to the sky.

Zhori
After stopping off for Simon to change, the two of them headed down to the beach together. It wasn't overly crowded so Zhori led Simon to a good spot that was slightly out of the way, but close to the water. She figured they could relax a bit, then go harass people. Despite being made of fire, and despite that it could kill her in her natural form, when she had her current shape, she loved swimming.
At any rate, she set the basket down and pulled out a large blanket, which she spread out and flopped down. "Come on. Let's relax for a lttle while. It's nice here."

Susan Chang
Feeling more energetic than usual, Susan headed off to the beach. She didn't like sand to much, but she liked sitting on the beach and sitting on a towel looking at the water.
The cat eared girl approached the beach with her favourite book in her hand. She found a free spot, pullef out a towel and sat down and read her book.

"Life is like a box of chocolates... Full of maggots and roaches. Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ After changing (and whacking that thought out of his head with a conveniently placed wall), Simon followed Zhori down to the beach, feeling a little uncomfortable. Especially when he spotted a couple of students from the school in the distance. And the water. There was so much of it. He stared at the ocean, regretting his decision to come along while she was setting out the blanket. He sighed in relief when she just wanted to relax where they were for a bit, glad that he didn't have to get any closer to the water. He sat down next to Zhori and thanked her, "This is nice. Much better than dealing with horrible students. And no one can throw us out." Well, technically beach patrol could, but it wasn't like they were causing any trouble... yet. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Penelope Mikelovitch Penelope inhaled deeply... ah the beach, the scent of the salty sea air and the feel of the wind on her face made her forget all of her worldly cares... Though in this outfit her legs prickled from the mild breeze. She stretched as she surveyed the wide expanse of sand. She really needed to buy a bathing suit. She had one for when she was a boy, but seeing as her recent makeover had cost her a small fortune, she was a little short on funds at the moment, not to mention just how self conscious she'd feel in something like that.
A spot of red on the sand caught her attention, and she blinked in surprise... It was her music teacher. That was interesting. Seeing any teacher outside of school was an oddity to be sure, but Penelope didnt think she had ever even seen Zhori outside of the music classroom. Should she go and... say hi? It looked like she was currently hanging out with someone, and she didn't want to disturb them, but she'd feel bad if she didn't at least say a quick hello. Oh, why not? She headed down to the shore and approached the couple on the beach. "Ah, Miss Zhori? Hi!" She waved awkwardly. "I was just ah, passing through and... and thought I'd say hi.

Zhori "Aww, are your students being troublesome again?" Zhori asked, moving closer to Simon. She covered his hand with hers, smiling. "At least you do have students. Mine still tend not to show up." She rested her head on his shoulder for a moment. "You also look tired. You're having a hard time getting enough fear, aren't you?" She looked up at him. "You know," she told him, reaching to stroke his cheek. "You can always ask me for help." She leaned closer, about to kiss him, when they were interrupted by someone saying her name.
Startled, Zhori looked up at the unfamiliar girl, frowning slightly. She had...no idea who this person was. As far as she knew, she didn't have a single student who looked anything like this. "Um, hello...I don't think...you're in my class are you?"
Zhori glanced at Simon questioningly, just in case he recognized the girl.

Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ "It's always the same student," Simon sighed, and inched away slightly when Zhori moved closer. He would have been fine with it normally, but he felt even more nervous than usual when he saw that there were students around. He smiled a bit when she complained about her lack of students again, then blushed and quickly looked away when she leaned on him. He didn't even have a closet to hide in! His only choice would be to go dive into the water... but he would surely drown. "I-I'm not having a hard time. It's just... I stopped caring for a little bit," He admitted, knowing that the main reason he crashed like that was because he took his horrible student's words so hard. He was still upset about it, even as he was trying to cheer up. He was sure he was red as a lobster when she began to lean in, and for once, he was glad to hear a student's voice. As Zhori seemed distracted by the student, he slowly moved away, freezing like a deer caught in headlights when she turned to him, as if he knew who she was. He simply shrugged, hoping she wasn't really in his class. He was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to pick very many of his students out of a crowd, so he wouldn't be surprised if he was wrong. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Penelope Mikelovitch Penelope gave Zhori a confused look. "You don't... recoginize me- Oh. Ohhhh." She looked down. "Riiiight... I forgot about that." Of course she wouldn't be recognized! Not only had Zhori only seen her as a boy, but then there was the whole cut and dyed hair thing to take into account... not to mention that she was also currently wearing contacts, which itched something terrible now that she thought about it. She resisted the urge to rub her eyes as she gave the couple an embarrassed smile. "Er... sorry, I ah... Well, this may be hard to believe... But I usually go by the name... um... Percy." She scratched the back of her head. "I'm in your fifth period music class. the ah, the one that no one ever shows up to... if that's not hard to believe." No no! Of course, some girl claiming to be a guy she hardly looked like wasn't unbelievable at all!
She wasn't quite oblivious to the interactions between Zhori and Simon, though perhaps misinterpreting them a little. "Er, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt anything, so ah... Yeah." She shifted uncomfortably. Well this endeavor had sort of collapsed on her. Now she just felt awkward. "Ah... nice to see you."

Susan Chang
Whilst sitting on the beach, reading her book, Susan saw Penelope, though she looked different. "Penelope!" Susan said and ran up to the girl who was currently talking to a teacher or something. Susan stuffed the book into a pocket of her dress. SHe wished she had brought swimmers with her, she felt like swimming now.
"You look different, Penelope, I like it. Got a makeover?" she asked and looked at the once redosh orange hair that was now black and red. Also the the new clothes.

Zhori Zhori squinted her eyes at Penelope. Nope. She didn't see it. Then again, she figured if she floated around in fireball form and said "I usually look like a normal woman!" people would do the same thing. So, eh, who was she to judge. "Well, it's great to see you! This is Simon, he teaches the cooking class and all that. Simon, this is--"
She couldn't finish before yet another student ran up and started talking to Penelope.
Oh for God's sake. What part of the blanket, picnic basket and two adults sitting in front of the ocean did not say 'we're on a date?' Really!
Zhori jumped up and draped her arms around the two girls, leading them away from the blanket. "Alright. I have a plan. Do this for me and you both get extra credit. See all those people out in the water? I dare you both to run over to them and shout 'shark!' as loud as you can. Go on now! Go for it!" She gave gave the girls a light little shove in that direction, before heading back to the blanket and sitting next to Simon again.
"Hi."

Penelope Mikelovitch Penelope was embarrassed, and a bit annoyed. Darn it Susan... She liked the girl but she really had shown up at the worst possible time. Now it just looked like they were both oblivious teenagers. Penelope wasn't oblivious! Well, most of the time. She had noticed that the two adults would most likely want some alone time, and she hadn't meant to spend more than a second to say hi, but of course... shenanigans, and then Susan. Well, it wasn't really her fault, Penelope should have just left the couple alone in the first place...
Zhori could have just asked them to leave though, instead of patronizing them like that. It made Penelope feel like a little kid, being sent off in such a manner. She certainly wasn't about to go running towards the people in the water yelling "Shark!" but she would at least head towards the water to get out of the adults' hair. "C'mon." She said softly to Susan, tugging at her sleeve as she headed towards the shore. "I... ah, get the feeling that we're interrupting something."

The teacher grabbed Penelope and Susan, she told them to yell shark to the people in the water. No way! Susan didn't have swimmers, and that would create a big mess. Susan looked back at the 2 people. Oops, she had interupted a date or something.
Susan looked at Penelope as she pulled her away from the 2. "Oops, I didn't realise" Susan said and got away from the 2 as fast as she could. How awkward.
