"I see..." He turned, surprised that she was offering to carry his things. "I... n--no, I mean, I couldn't possibly ask you to do something like that." What kind of man would he be by having a girl half his size help him carry his belongings?
He glanced up at the tree warily, then back at her in concern about the infirmary. "What... what's wrong with the infirmary?" he asked worriedly.

Briar was too distracted with grimacing at the mental image of that classroom to notice that Sethrian was hiding away a shiny object. That sounded like a real... pain. "I... will be sure to enlist the help of the Manliness Club to save me then. I don't want to imagine how much sleep I'd have to sacrifice in order to get that room sparkling again."

Yes, he had to remember to do that, but it was very hard to do so when he was being distracted. Like now for instance. This girl said what now? How did Sethrian even follow through!? Briar was just going to nod and smile like the idiot he was. "I think I finally understand you. Somewhat. I just got that rainbows on people were gross and should never be done."

If it was that easy, then Renivere wouldn't have blabbered so much! She had no idea if she looked like an idiot or just a loon with all the random things she was saying. Still... Renivere was just afraid that Sethrian was going to carry her off to the infirmary again. She relaxed a little when it seemed like he wouldn't carry her there or force her to go there at all.

She glanced at the small fairy, wondering if he understood anything she said and he was just smiling and nodding saying that he understood and that rainbows on people were not good. Well... that was not the point and he completely misunderstood what she was trying to say, but hopefully he doesn't take it and run in a totally bad direction.

"If the intrusion of me does not poke at the Manliness club like a tack in a shoe, I am willing to sparkle around." Renivere said with a smile that was really bright since she was happy she wouldn't be taking a trip to the infirmary.

"If that's the case, shouldn't our illustrious president be here?" Sethrian asked. Not that he had any idea where Kamil actually was. Probably off with some girl. Nevertheless, my intent was to check on the class anyway, so it hardly matters. I'll carry the things you've gathered, if you like."

He glanced at Renivere. "I wouldn't count thi a an actual club activity..." Not that there club was anything more than a farce anyway. "I'm sure we wouldn't object to your help. If...you have nothing else to do."

And he supposed it wasn't terrible to spend time with her now that it seemed like he didn't hate his guts completel. Perhaps she was...getting used to him?

Alec paled at her words. "No! its' not that! I didn't mean it like that at all! You look fine! I mean, you have some really striking features but..." he trailed off, glancing away. "... they work for you." he mumbled at last, his cheeks reddening. "I just assumed this was a place for people like us with... special abilities and traits, I guess... to go." he turned back to her. No... her being Fae made sense. It suited her quite well. "I'd rather glow in the dark myself. I'm less human than I'd like to be." he took that moment to adjust his glasses and push them back up the bridge of his nose. "My lineage caused problems for some people in my old town, so moving and having a fresh start seemed like the best option. It seemed even better that i went to a place where they would have a better understanding of my predicament." He shrugged.

Renivere just continued to smile at the fairy since she felt that the fairy misunderstood her use of the word sparkle. She couldn't remember the proper word to explain what she really wanted to do after all. She was just offering to help clean up. Of course she could just use her healing magic and create sparkles that will eventually disappear, but that was at the expense of her health which might not be a good idea. Of course Renivere was fairly good at hiding her tiredness.

And besides, cleaning seemed a lot more fun than reading about death and evil and crazy people. "To help would be my pleasure!" Renivere insisted. Of course she didn't know where they would be cleaning so she would just follow the fairy's and Sethrian's lead.

"I said I would take some of those things for you," Sethrian said, pulling the door to the school open. He nodded for Renivere and Briar to go ahead of him. "If you cannot carry everything I can do it for you.'

He waited for the other two to go inside. He hadn't really wanted to spend the entire day cleaning but in the end, he did help destroy the class so it was probably best for him to help clean it up. Maybe he could get in a little reading later on.

"I'm sure there are a lot of people here looking for some sort of new start," Angela said. "Or at the very least, a lot of people who had difficulty fitting in other places. It seems like that would be the biggest reason for anyone to come a school whose policy is that they accept everyone, regardless..."

"But at least people are understanding here." She thought about the incident with professor Volce. "Very understanding," she emphasized. "So I'm sure it won't be a problem here."

She was sort of wondering just what sort of predicament he was referring to but if it was bad enough he had to leave, he might be a bit sensitive about it. "Anyway, the dorms are just over here. Do you know which one you'll be staying in?"
