Diamond extended his arm and then created a bubble around part of the orbs, knowing the couldnt orn out of it.
"I wonder how many I caught..." He waited until the orbs stoppen and only Matt was left. "Only one eh? Thats too bad."
He seperated the bubble from his hand. "I could crush you, you know. Or I could wait until the lack of air causes you to suffocate." He bagan to think. "No, I have a better idea...well, it still involves suffocating. but at least it will help me." He levitated the diamond bubble to him. (can control his own diamond pieces even if their not attached to his body)
"Ill just use you as bait."

Matt tried to tk the ball of diamond he was it. It was too heavy for matt to do too much good, and the fact that he was running out of air wasnt helping either.
Matt slowly sunk out of conciousness untill he had finaly passed out from the lack of air.

Jen astralled behind Diamond. "Hey diamond boy!" She said, from the steps, now approaching him. Ok, Matt's book said something about an empath being able to defeat this demon, but how? She wondered.

"So you finaly figured it out." "Good for you." He walked closer to Jen.
"Here's the deal. I could kill you right now seeing as you dont have a whitlighter or that pesky freezing witch, but I'd rather have something else..... You're powers for your lives. I'll promise to leave you alone as long as you give me your powers."

"I'm sure that would last long. Once you had our powers we'd be sitting ducks, so how about I figure out some type of negotiations." She said, still trying to figure out what the book meant by the empath being able to defeat him.

Jen couldn't sense it, but was anxious. "I'll make you a deal, so to speak. If you let Matt-" She said, pointing to him. "go, you can- um... kill me and take my powers, but I want Matt completely out of here before you try anything." She said, bravely.

Diamond contemplated the suggestion. "Tell me, witch, what are your powers. You havent used any on me yet. How can I be sure you even have some?"

EMPATHY!?!? No wonder the master wanted her dead. She could kill me, and potentialy him. "Fine. I'll take your deal.....Darion!!" A darklighter apeared. "Get me the power sucking atheme' from that stupid Witch Wars show."
"Yes sir." He orbed atway. He then returned with an atheme in his hand. "Is this what you wanted, sir?"
Diamond took the atheme and examined the markings. "It will do fine. Now go!"
He turned to look at Jen. "What was it you wanted? Oh, yes. The telekat." He made the bubble Matt was in desentigrate. He then emmited one big spike from his body and made it hover over and then over Matt. "If anything goes wrong. I have insuance." He smiled.
"Ready? This will only hurt alot."

"That wasn't part of our deal, let him go or I'm out of here." She said, now more confident that she was positive Matt could breathe, that is if he was alive. "Now, I'm interested if he is actually alive. I wouldn't want to trade my powers for a dead telekentic, and with you being evil and all, I wouldn't put it passed you." She said, smirking slightly.

"Let me give you some advice. Dont make a bluff unless you're holding all the cards. You could never escape in time if you tried. I could kill you in a heartbeat. And if something did happen, like you being orbed out by Paige, I could simply drop that spike there, right into Matt. And it CANT be orbed. Now hold still." He walked towards her with the atheme.

"You actually think I'm bluffing?" She laughed. "Trust me, I learned not to bluff when I lost my mother, due to one of your colleagues actually. I want to know he's breathing before you touch me with that atheme." She said, backing away, aware that he couldn't steal her powers while she was an astral projection, anyway. "Beside, once I'm here alone, I'm an easier target, and you're wasting time, my friend's energy is coming back, as soon as he wakes up we'll have the upper hand." She said, shortly.
