Spiro flinched at the sounds of others, but was no longer really paying attention... As he finally drew himself up to about as high as he could go, he tensed slightly... One more... He kicked off and then jumped. He felt the air rush past him, and he was up... Even if it was only for a little while. He landed awkward on his feet, stumbled and eventually fell forward, sliding a bit on his knees. His eyes finally opened. Not like flying, or what he had imagined it to be, but... It would have to do for now... He finally began to lift himself up, noticing a light sting at the knee of his torn pantleg, and then the scrape... He shrugged it off. It was just a little scrape. He didn't get worked up over these things. He remembered Colette and Avery and turned to the girl silently, just waiting to find out what to do...
(Gomengomengomengomen for the wait. x__X I won't let it happen again.)

She blinked eyes wide as she saw the whole thing. She wasn't too sure to be amazed or concered... so she chose to stare for a moment before deciding.
Once deciding, to be concerened she looked at his knee "Are you ok?!" she bit her lip, he didn't seem to care about it.. but.. it looked painful. She only had a scrape once and, though she wouldn't admit it right now, she cried quite a bit.
She still needed to go choose a puzzle, but right now that need would be pushed aside until she found out if her friend was ok.

He took a step, more of a limp, knee stiff and a bit sore, not too willing to bend. Bah. He got a lot of these though- He wasn't too graceful, to be honest, and ended up getting pretty beat up rather often. He was a bit confused at the girl's concern, not quite having expected it.. He didn't really understand others, after all. He gave a small nod, "Yeah. 'M fine." He shrugged, glancing off at nothing imparticular.. And then back to Colette thoughtfully, his tone remaining idle and rather careless, "We going to get the puzzle?"

She blinked and nodded still a bit concerened. "Yea.." she nodded, before turning to walk to the building slowly since he was limping..
When they got to the shelf of puzzles she pulled out a few, pointing to teh covers "Which one?"

Avery watched the fall, and was greatly impressed with Spiro's calm. Scraped knees hurt... He sighed and laid his head on his hand as the two of them walked inside, hopefully to get a puzzle. He was bored.
Bored bored bored bored bored... ow. He had twitched his ankle unthinkingly, and winced slightly, and then sighed as he looked at the door again.
"I hope they didn't forget about me... But Colette wouldn't do that. She's too nice... I really don't think Spiro would, either." He mumbled quietly to himself as he began to trace the patterns in the table with his forefinger.

Spiro hobbled along after Colette, head bowed slightly, eyes focused on the ground. His mind was elsewhere- Back on the swing... On sitting himself in a quiet little spot and... Oh well. This would do. A.. Little time with others wouldn't hurt... He turned his attention to the puzzles finally, glancing over the ones Colette pulled out, "Um..." He pointed to a random one, tapping his finger on the cover, "How about this one?"

Colette nodded, and scouped it up huggign it and making her way back to where Avery had been sitting. She walked the same pace as before, but with a bit of a skip in it plopping herself on the bench next to avery and setting hte puzzle down "We're back!" she announced happily.

Following along behind Colette, his eyes seemed to be focused elsewhere.. On nothing, imparticular... Hm... As they reached the bench he stopped, continuing to stare off into the horizon... And then he turned to them finally, sitting himself down silently.

Avery grinned as the other two approached. "I was worried you forgot about me!"
What's up with Spiro? He wondered to himself, but didn't want to bother the quiet boy with too many questions. Too many questions made people get upset with you, instead of making friends.
"What puzzle is it?" And he craned his neck to look at the cover of the puzzle, only just then catching sight of the girl near the gate who looked very unhappy to be here. "Hey... who's that...?" He asked, and pointed.

Colette giggled a bit grinning "We wouldn't forget about you Avery!" she reassured, looking to spiro "Right?"
the girl wondered what was wrong with spiro, but he said he was fine so she shrugged it off. And she didn't want to bother him by asking again..
but what if he got mad at her for not asking..
Her little brain got swirled up with the life-altering decision of the minute. She bit her lip, finally deciding not to ask.. Spiro was quiet, so perhaps he liked people around him to be quiet too..
"Ano.." She blinked, allready forgetting what it was she started leaning foreward to check "Farm animals!" she nodded, animal puzzles were fun. She leaned back so she was sitting correctly again glancing around when avery asked who someone was.
"Who?" she blinked, after deciding she couldn't figure out which person he was talking about.

Avery blinked... "Uhh... There was a girl, by the gate... I guess she's gone now, maybe she was in the wrong place? Maybe I saw things..." He frowned slightly, sure he had seen something, but shrugged and pulled the top off the puzzle box to look inside.
"Great! It's not a little kid puzzle, it's got smallish peices! Not as small as the ones Mom and Alida do, but smallish." He picked through them, picking up two random pieces, and looked at the other two.
"So, what first? Alida says you're supposed to do the outside first... but she doesn't know everything!" He grinned cheekily.
