Aleister heard Cass yelling that this was Jenga and then when they dropped the body again the moon hunter said something. "Ohh..... lets book it, if we have to throw tomatoes later I'd much rather do that than keep dropping this thing... I mean I wouldn't.... want this to be like a water... balloon..."

He choked that last few words out and coughed okay bad idea to even think about that. He waited for Cass before heading back so they could clean up. "We can burn the scarves and get new ones right?"

Not really.

He snorted at the other hunter, about to retort about his last comment, until Bix stood between them.

He stared up at the taller hunter through his mask, lidded eyes staring with disinterest. Did he flinch when Bix yelled? ...A little. Was he surprised that Bix knew Otto was the instigator of this argument? No. Was he offended? No. He knew what he was doing was wrong. Getting yelled at was nothing new to him.

"Aww, what? He can't fight his own battles?" He asked flatly. "Big brother gotta step in for ya?" Otto rolled his eyes, his immature behavior at it's finest.

Still, his heart was racing, feeling slightly intimidated. But only slightly.

It was too late for that - Gale was already filled with an anger and hatred so fierce he wanted to leap forward to throttle Otto - and it had been what he had intended to do.

At least until Bix stepped between him and the blonde boy.

He had not even seen the albino hunter until he appeared, with a look on his face that clearly said that he was not at all happy.

Not that Gale could blame him, but the white haired hunter had not been there when Ben had died - he had not seen the bodies before, stepped into them and felt the maggots crawling up his legs, had not seen that look of calm resignation on the squad leader's face as he let go of the helicopter.

"Move, Bix," Gale seethed, pushing away the other's hand. His body was trembling, his face still looking like death. "Move and let me remind the newbie why exactly he's here."

It's kind of too late for that.

Cass nodded.

"I don't expect you to.. I just.... I'm not going to half a** this." she said, but now even her scarf was starting to get slippery and she dropped it lamely into the sand after wiping her hands off with it following another botched attempt.

"But thank you."

"He didn't call me over here." Bix didn't even blink while he stared at Otto. His heart was pounding, he was not usually this assertive, but he was taking advantage of the allure that came with NOT being a newbie. Whatever small level of respect he'd gotten by being there when they woke up was being exploited to it's max. He did not like bullying or goading or picking of fights. Been there and done that his whole life.

"I came over here cause you are a little douche. We are on a mission. There is serious s**t going down. You just crawled out of a pod like a damn week ago and you can't even act interested. I'm sure your Death Hunter superior would appreciate the mission reports talking about your disregard for the importance of whats going on. We all know what a lenient and patient man he is." Bix didn't even know what the importance was. It was disgusting but he didn't know what had happened here. It was cleanup duty basically but he would keep up his act for the sake of the cause. The rush of putting someone in their place was also a bit exciting.

Go Bixy go! Mina cooed happily in his head. You get me so hot when you talk like this. Dominant male... ssssssss

"This guy is your partner. He has skills and he has experience and we all have been through some s**t while your mopey surfer a** has been taking a nice snooze. When one of those corpses stands up and starts shooting fire out of it's mouth, you are going to be pissing yourself and fumbling with whatever weapon they were stupid enough to gift to you. So shut up... suck it up.. and stop acting like a complete d**k. Have you even smiled the whole time we've been here? Cute girls and free weapons? What the HELL is wrongly wired in your brain?" If Otto wanted to retort, Bix shoved a 'SHUSH' finger right in his face and then turned his back on him completely.

"Gale. Chill." He wasn't angry at his friend but he was stone cold serious. He didn't really know why he'd gotten so riled up over some punk, but this was not the time. "It's a mission. It's the job. Apparently being partnered with a d**k came with the job. Keep your cool.. keep your head.. do the mission.. kick his a** royally when you get home. Ice bullets man. They're a killer."

He cracked a small smile, hoping that by blocking out Otto with his body he could keep Gale's head cool for long enough to get some sense in there.

He'd also apparently blocked out his partner. Bix stood up and looked at Tedan. "You are exactly right." He gave a bit of a thumbs up. "Not. Here." He gave Gale and Otto a look. Gale may be mad at him for it.. but its the proper thing to do. Now was not for fighting.

Hands cleaned (though now scarfless), Cass again gripped the body and hefted it up, finally managing to keep a decent hold on it. AHA.

"OKAY. I think I got it!" She didn't grin, as it was...really morbid, but still..it was one less person laying out in the sands by themselves to be buried alone, she guessed. Now for some messy transport and time to go back and wash up.

Ugh.

Madison steeled herself once more, then reached down, trying to pay slightly more attention to what she was touching. Just enough for... structural integrity. "One more try," she agreed. "One, two, three-"

She lifted, and the... thing... moved properly this time, swaying and dripping but staying in one piece. Madison focused on slowly backing up, avoiding other... things... in the process. All they had to do was get this back to the others. Just that one thing.
