Oh I'm sure they're the priority... but at the same time the loss of an entire squad would draw away at least some infantry.

I had a platoon with me when I was chasing down Jian. There's at least a battalion in the city, just as an occupation force. We probably have more at other cities. Ya, we're not hurting for reinforcements. Not to mention the other NPC sith on the planet

Considering that the Sith control the planet, I'd imagine they don't have anything to worry about in terms of manpower.
