The fate of his hat was on the back of the young reaper's mind, but even as much as it meant to him, he knew he had bigger problems.
The flames were gone, and it seemed it had done nothing for his net. Mot cursed worriedly under his breath, fidgeting uselessly with the net. It was another failed attempt to escape.

Gale, giving up on the capture gun, shoved it into the waistband of his pants, threw the sniper rifle back up into position, and released the safety with an extremely satisfying click.

Far be it from Damien to judge Red and her blue flames, it took its sweet time, but it finally managed to wear through the net's fibers enough for the desperate hell-hound to wiggle out. "hah freedom!" he barked out with glee and nudged Willow off to side lightly. "You need the seed more than I do Willow." he insisted urgently and pushed it back into the tiger ghoul's palm and running off to Begin the arduous task of releasing the others.
The net was clearly the most evil thing in all of the human realm, besides these hunters. and they needed to be eliminated.

Dear Jack, what was going on?! Johan scrambled to stay out of the line of fire as nets suddenly started falling from above, entangling several students. When the source of the nets finally appeared, Johan could only stare in bewilderment. Hunters? What? He didn't understand, and the sudden appearance of Red only confused him further. Now, with fire spreading across the ledge, Johan heard a familiar scream, and priorities fell into place. "Amrita?" he called, running towards the source. He arrived to find Colette holding onto the broken and battered body of the ghoul he'd met long ago on the train. "Colette! Quick! You still haf ze pumpkin pills, ja?" Johan immediately began drawing up the glowing lines of a shield rune, hoping it would be enough to fend off another attack. These Hunters, or whatever they were seemed formidable. Sweat began to form on the Sorcerer's face as his fingers traced the glowing teal lines into existence. [Defending Amrita][Johan's HP: 30/30]

Xiu relaxed slightly when she realized that both Colette and Johan had gone to assist Amrita, thank Jack for that. She stopped kicking wildly, taking deep breaths as she ran her hands along the net and tried to find some kind of opening. Perhaps the flames had managed to burn through some of the net, at least?
No, it didn't seem so. Sitting around wasn't going to do anything though, so she continued to search, ignoring the feeling of the net cutting into her fingers as she tugged and attempted to find a weak area.

Mandys question was answered alright, just not by Danny or Colette like she excepted.
It was them. Those abominations.
She remembered them from the island, oh she remembered them. It probably wasn't the exact same ones but they all held those despicable weapons.
Mandy's lip pulled back in a snarl, tensing to attack.
And then Professor Red was revealed.
Mandy froze in mute shock. Red was spying on these humans? She'd managed to fool them and stand their presence.....? Her admiration shot up several notches, just being near one of those things made Mandy feel vaguely nauseous.
Her stupor was broken when suddenly the nets where up in flames and everything exploded into action, including Mandy herself.
Clearly Red wanted the other students free, so Mandy was more than happy to oblidge and help. Skidding towards the nearest struggling trapped person she could Mandy knelt down and tried to help Mot out of his net. Despite her tugging though the thing stubbornly held in place. Huffing she sat back in her heels, giving the thing a frustrated look.
"Sorry. It's really stuck."

What. The ******** happened. Candace held the net gun tightly in her shaking hands, watching as Aria was suddenly not Aria. She was one of those ********! What. The ********. Was this s**t. What was even. This. What. One of THEM was in their facility! One of THEM was teaching them how to..! Ugh! This was just... No! No way! She cocked the net gun, eyes narrowed as she aimed right at the b***h who had made them believe she was on their side. She had to go. Candace aimed and she fired straight at that b***h.

Madison gasped and went down as the world exploded in flame - the heat made the tips of her hair crisp up and start to stink, though Kouki hissed violently, his own power protecting her from the worst of it. The damage, thanks to her weapon, was merely cosmetic... and psychological.
b***h was crazy - but she had no time to worry about that, nor to counter. The Hunter trainee fumbled free one of the bandages they'd been given so long ago. Their effect was immediate, and she felt Kouki's power intensify around her once more. The serpent-sword was making incoherently furious sounds, possession and mineminemine emanating from him. She had a sense of those four snake heads swaying on the ends of long necks, staring at those around her, Hunter and freak alike.
Madison scrambled to her feet, the capture gun now discarded; she drew two of Kouki's blades and crossed them in front of her as she pivoted, trying futilely to keep an eye on the entire battlefield at once. She'd been completely surprised by that last assault; she'd not make that mistake again. Her heart was pounding in her ears as adrenaline tingled in every limb.

What they were doing before was a great plan. Stay out of sight, shoot all the things. No flare, nothing fancy, just hold the superior position and win. Not that Harrison was doing great with the nets or anything. But he didn't have to, other people were on top of it. Then a Hunter had to jump down in the middle of it and give away their position.
And Cael jumped in and ordered they destroy them. Melee for what? You hit them, they dissolve, they're okay. ...Where was Dr. H?
Wicked looking fire shot up and toasted two guys. The problem was the only place to go down from the cliff was right into the fray. Right into a suicidal fray where everyone was pissed. There was no cover. They weren't safe. Harrison slid down the hill, trying a last shot haphazard shot with the net gun before chucking it and getting out his swords. He didn't even check to see who, if anybody, he bagged.

The Death Hunter barely had time to block Red's attack, distracted for a second by Aksaja's sudden movement. The brunt of the traitor's attack forced him backwards, and he twisted, attempting to regain momentum and balance.
It only took a few seconds: he was ready, scythe literally shrieking as it came in contact with Red's weapon. Both collided for a mere second, before Caelius was pushed back again, eyes narrowing as he looked for another opening.
The opportunity came not a moment too soon: he stepped lightly to the side, and grabbed Levi, flinging them towards Red. In the same motion, using all the momentum he could gain, the Death Hunter swung low, this time attempting to use the shockwave as a ranged attack to knock Red - and any hapless students and Hunters in the way, off their feet.
DAMAGE: ???
HP: ???/???Nekoluch Levi has been grabbed/shoved and is immobilized for one turn! Feel free to rp out reactions, she just can't do much. For all Madison's determination not to be taken unaware again, she wasn't expecting an attack from her own side... or, at least, for Caelius to do something that would affect them too. The shockwave hit her and nearly dropped her again; she stumbled and fell to her knees, wincing.
Then she got up, recrossing Kouki's blades and resuming her wary defense.
HP: 38/40

Concentrating on his shield rune, Johan had no chance to dodge the concussive blast coming from the main participants of the battle. He was bowled over, frantically trying to keep his concentration. As he regained his feet, the run wavered, but thankfully held. Ignoring his scrapes, Johan returned to defending his fallen co-ed.

Mot panicked even worse the longer he was entangled. It seemed as if his long limbs were to blame, the netting twisting and trapping him quite well. He held his breath as he faught with it, trying not to let himself vocalize his worry. He let out a breath as Mandy appeared at his side, feebly trying to get him free. "I...I'm pretty stuck.." Mot said with a shaky voice, noticing how poorly she was doing too. "Don't worry about me.." He was scared, and wanted out, but he didn't want to risk this stranger to be captured as well. Still, he was brought some comfort knowing someone he didn't know tried to help him. ((Still captured))

The shockwave had Gale skidding back a few feet, gasping for breath and using Jinhai as a sort of stopper as he slammed the rifle into the ground in a attempt to stop moving.

Willow paused, as Demi escaped, "Glad to see your fre---" She paused when he shoved the pill back into her paw. They were going to play pass the seed weren't they, granted he was right she was starting to hurt pretty bad.
She took the pill and swallowed it as she ran and followed Demi to see who next target would be. Especially if they attacked the pup their throats would be coming out.
