Arell drilled his fist deep into Grundy, careful not to get hit by the crowbar in the process. "Good shot, che'!" he said to Aiden as they made with the fight he promised Grundy, Arell still playing on the big guy's anger. "Dat all ya got, bonehead? I thought a big guy like you would fight bettah!" he yelped, pulling back and throwing another punch towards Grundy.

Solomon Grundy seemed more discomforted than actually hurt by either hit. Other than making him madder, he didn't apparently register either of them. He answered them by swinging a backfist at both of the men fighting him. "BORN ON A MONDAY!!!"
Bane seemed to roll right through the kickflip, ending up back on his feet on the other side of Apex. "You're good." He ran back at him, and swung a huge fist at his torso.

Arell felt the backfist bounce off his chest. "Dat tickled." he said as he pulled out his knife, smirking. "But I'll tell ya dis much, che' . . . DIS WON'T!" he yelped and jumped on Grundy's back. He took the knife and slammed it into Grundy's back.
"Boy d' I feel bad 'bout dat move, che'!" He said to Adrien through clenched teeth, holding on to that smoke for dear life. "Always hated backstabbers, now I AM one . . . LITERALLY!"

Apex smoothly dodged Bane's enormous fist as the large man came from behind him, and grabbed the man's forearm, using his own leverage, and Bane's momentum, against Bane himself. Of course, to execute the counter, he had to let go of his katana hilt, so the sword remained sheathed. With Bane's forearm in-hand, Apex rolled, doing a sort of Judo hip-toss maneuver. He fully expected Bane to recover from it quickly, however, after he let go and sent Bane flying in front of him. Apex himself remained in a crouch for a half-second before standing upright.
Aiden only narrowly avoided the backfist; though he was incredibly durable, the young Irish streetfighter was not exempt from the forces of gravity, and would have been sent flying backward if the shot had actually connected. Aiden, however, was now in full-on brawler mode, and thought nothing of it. Instead, he swung the crowbar for Grundy's face with as much strength as he could muster while Arell had him distracted.
Oy oy oy... Carlie thought, gazing down at the two brawls. This was really getting out of hand, but what could she do about it? Whatever she did would just be likely to get those she targeted mad at her, and she didn't want that. However, she was getting tired of being a spectator.

The crowbar connected with Solomon Grundy's head with enough force to rip his skin open, which exposed some of his skull. "Ugh... Died on a Saturday..." Grundy staggered a little, and fell on his face, unmoving. If they had decided to look, the wound made by Arell's knife was producing no blood. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bane planted one massive hand on the ground, using his momentum to land more or less back on his feet. Although he didn't show it, he was slightly bewildered. He'd just been THROWN. He looked back at Apex, taking a second to make sure that his anger didn't get the best of him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Vandal Savage slowly removed the knife from Joker's throat, seeing that Sapphire was making a break for it, and was therefore no longer in danger. Joker rubbed his neck, and called out "Oh, Lady Ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiira... A word with you, if you don't mind?"

Arell went to pull out the knife from Grundy's back . . . the handle came off, but . . . "F*CK! De sombitch broke my F*ckin' knife! Dat was a family heirloom!" he cursed, kicking the Zombie while he was down. Sure enough, the blade popped up like toast. There was no blood though . . . which when Arell fixed the blade back on the handle, he realized.
"Wait, he ain't bleedin' dude . . . I think we jest picked a fight wit' some'in' dat should not be." he growled, calmly taking a puff as he pulled out his trusty shotgun. "Things got messed de hell up when des creeps started showin' up." he growled.

Giggling suddenly filled the room, and a swirl of multi-colored smoke spun around the back of Rosie's chair. The smoke took the shape of hair and material, and soon the shapely form of a foman followed. Zira, the goddess of Chaos for her own world, stood behind Rosie's chair, genly leaning over th top of it. "You rang?" she asked casually. Despite her tone, there was a wickedly satisfied sparkle in her black eyes as she gazed at Joker.

"As a matter of fact, I did," Joker said, with a half-amused look in his eye, "I'm pretty sure I asked you to make sure no one could get in here by ANY MEANS without my permission. I also recollect you telling me that you had done so. And now, Mr. Savage is in here, a few minutes removed from his knife being on my neck. So, what I'm getting at is... How in the HELL did he get in?" The amused look in his eye didn't deminish, even though the rest of his face showed his displeasure quite thorughly.

"He asked." Zira replied simply. "Nicely. How could I say no?" she continued, a mischivious little smirk sliding across her face. She moved one of her arms off of the top of the chair and gantly pat the little girl in the chair on the head.

"Wha'? So... so yer sayin'... This guy here, the guy we just kicked the tar outta... is already dead? Like a zombie?" Aiden asked Arell, looking down at Grundy. "Hoo, boy..."
Apex could sense confusion in Bane. It wasn't often the infamous "Man Who Broke The Bat" got thrown around with such ease... and that brought some satisfaction to the former Marine. His mind went back to his own enhancements, comparing them to Bane's own Venom-induced abilities: Apex was stronger (as he was able to lift approximately four tons, whereas Bane maxed out at two, and could go to three if he was willing to risk going nuts for a bit), had better healing (as Bane had to rely on Venom injections to do so), and was arguably faster and more agile than Bane, though that depended on how much Venom Bane was using.
Apex figured, based on what knowledge Deathstroke had accummulated and passed to him, that he and Bane were equally matched when it came to hand-to-hand combat prowess. And that meant that one of them needed to be able to outwit the other. Apex knew that Bane was a natural polymath, had near-perfect recall of his memories, and was a masterful tactician and strategist. Apex only had a high-school education, but his enhancements allowed him to process thought approximately nine times faster than an ordinary human being; Apex's mind had become a virtual computer when it came to strategy, tactics, and planning ahead of time. Predicting enemy movements was something he could do, and do well, so long as he had enough knowledge on who he was facing. And Bane was someone he'd studied extensively. After all, if you could best Bruce Wayne, you were incredibly dangerous.
The faintest shadow of a smirk crossed Apex's face, and he raised a single arm, motioning to Bane with his fingers in a gesture that translated in any language to just two words:
Bring it.

Joker WANTED to get angry and the mad goddess. He REALLY did. But, all he could do was laugh. "You know, if it weren't for the fact that you're a goddess that stands for everything that gives MY life meaning, I'd try to kill you right now. Not that it would do much good, but I would." Turning back to the monitors, in an effort to relocate Sapphire again (DAMN, she could move when she wanted...), he added to Zira, "Besides, you'd probably LIKE it too much."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Bane smirked himself as Apex issued his little hand-gesture-challenge. The smirk itself was his way of saying, With pleasure. Bane began another charge, but before reaching Apex, he slid onto the ground, going for a slide tackle.

Apex saw Bane's movements and decided on a plan of action: As Bane approached him, Apex jumped in place several feet in the air, and as Bane overshot and slid under him, he forced himself downward, in a sort of double-stomp motion aimed for Bane's spine. It probably wouldn't do a lot of damage (as for all his own body strength, Bane could most likely withstand some serious hits before going down), but it was enough to catch Bane off-guard. In that same millisecond of thought, Apex considered using his katanas-- forged from a blend of both depleted and volatile Promethium-- but decided against it. Unless, of course, Bane agreed to a sword-fight (or something along those lines, as one of Apex's own swords would look like a toy in Bane's huge hands).
As his feet hit Bane's back, Apex leaped again, performing a corkscrew-somersault in the air so that he landed facing Bane... who was facing the other way.
"Thanks for the compliment, Bane. That's why I wanted to fight you... To see if I'm worthy of the name my master gave me." Apex said after he landed. "Should I happen to win... I'll let you live. You're too worthy an opponent to be killed."

Zira smiled and rested her head on her arm. "Of course. It would be interesting to see you try to anyway." she replied.
Rosie kept her attention on the three in the room for a moment, then relaxed and turned her attention back to the monitors as well.
And Joker was right. Despite the lack of consistent solid structures, Sapphire could move when she wanted. The City wasn't her original base of opporations, and she was used to moving quickly in rural areas. It was just....easier and less stressful when she had actual buildiings to flee across.
When she got to a stand that had a few signs around it, she paused for a moment to catch her breath and give her legs a rest. The signs were tall enough to give her some protection and place to hide. At least for the moment.

Bane rolled, taking the impact in his chest instead of his back. After Apex jumped off, bane did a kip-up, which was rather inpressive given his Venom-enhanced size. "Bad idea. If I win, I'll break you."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Joker smiled as he located Sapphire. A good spot to hide from all the people on the Carnivora grounds ITSELF, but not so good at hiding from the cameras. "Unfortunately for you, Zira, I don't waste ammunition just to help goddesses get their jollies. I need to get something out of it, too." He picked up his radio, and scanned for a specific channel. A small crackle came over the radio's speaker, which was then interrupted by a very happy male voice that was apparently halfway through singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody', by Queen. After letting him continue for a few extra seconds, Joker interrupted, saying, "Hey, you Freddie Mercury wannabe, time to get in on the action!"There was a pause over the radio. Then, "You're just jealous of my mad singing skills."Joker continued unabated. "I need you to do a fast snatch and grab on a woman wearing blue. Her codename's Sapphire Spider. She's on the BB Gun shooting booth.""Where is it?""It's in the southern end of the park- wait. What happened to the map I made for you?""You made it too much like a map. Couldn't read it."Joker's head dropped. Recovering after a moment, he said, "If you look at it, it should be in grid I6 or I7.""Uh... YEP! Found it!""Good. Drop her off in front of the main entrance to my building, then go have some stabbing time.""Some stabby time? For ME? You shouldn't have!""I thought you'd like that. Get to it.""Getting on it!"Joker smiled, putting down the reciever for the radio. "I like him."(( From 3:11 to 3:26 is where he was singing ))

"He does have quite a bit of promise." Zira agreed. Smiling at the screens.
Sapphire had planned on stoping only for a moment, but all of the up and down she had just done was making her take more than just a momet to rest. She muttered something under her breath and very slowly moved to peek out over the signs she was hiding behind. She wanted to make sure the coast was clear for when she did move again.
