Bix heard Ariane's order but was having a hard time with it. Why would he attack the punk? He seemed to miss his attack so far and the hunchback, now without his pendant, was a raging crazy threat.
He took aim once more, took a deep breath, and let an arrow fly. It flew true, hitting the patchwork right in the chest. He'd managed to cover his 'Boss' successfully.
He could take that punk next. ... .. right? Oh.. wait. Out of the corner of his eye the punk hit one of their traps. FINALLY.

Bix hit his side this time, not quite prepared for the throw. He wasn't sure why, since it happened often enough.
He hit a scorched patch of floor where a mine used to be. Thank god it wasn't still active or he'd really be hurting.

Arm to the head.
That was new and rather surprising - in fact, Ariane quickly added that to the list of things she was actually surprised by. The few other items included 'Jeremy can actually be responsible', 'Giant flaming horses', 'mask behind a mask behind a mask' and 'Harrison has a nice a**'.
Grabbing her set of bandages from the backpack which was still somehow intact despite all the tossing around, she quickly wrapped them around her arm, where most of the damage was, before turning to -
... Oh, punk was gone, thanks to bomb.
... So was the patchwork, thanks to Bix.
She couldn't help feeling a small twinge of disappointment.
"So, only the pony is left," She glanced at Calder, "What to do, what to do..." She started to play with the glowing pendent around her neck.

Christof shuddered as he felt the arrow pierce him, his head jerking to topple from his shoulders as his body slumped.
Master he... he was going to save his Master and.... and Calder... te head rolled, eyes bleary as they focused up on the Kelpie for just a moment. He shouldn't have taken the pendant off... he shouldn't have put it on himself... he should have run... run and saved himself... he should have... he didn't know.
Christof should have stayed home. Useless, stupid Igor... can't even save his own Master...
And no sooner had he fallen apart at the seams, he began to dissolve....

Before moved to where Ariane landed, wheel drawn, face grim, teal eyes trained on the latest pendant-wearing creature. Make that the only creature left. "Do we wait for more of the things to try and come and save him?" he asked.
Before didn't like it. Before wanted this thing gone and the pendants dealt with. While that tender and touching display from earlier would have normally had Before sobbing, seeing them gang up on Ariane just pissed him off to no end and he was itching to just take the wheel and-
He'll only dissolve into FEAR particles, Before. You won't have the satisfaction of cracking open a skull and bludgeoning innards into pulp. It's best to wait for your superiors' permission.
With a sneer, he gave the shape-shifting thing a suggestion, "Keep the pendant on."

Bix, though hurting and wrapped in bandages already, joined his other team mates near the kelpie.
"It's a kelpie. Some sort of killer river horse." His weapon had told him. "I think it's a girl." He held his bow at the ready, an energy arrow softly glowing and drawn. He would fire, point blank if need be, if the beast shrugged off the order or attacked.
"We should take it back with us to base. We've captured a few of them I think." He had no idea that the traps weren't 100% foolproof, but their team had bagged a few.
Actually... he was pretty proud of them for the battle that had just taken place. They didn't need Caelius to wipe out their enemies for them.

Calder was barely up when he was given a command, and staggered where he stood. He could feel a heat rippling through his worn body and grip all his nerves, painfully screaming for him to do whatever it took to relieve it. A kelpie is not commanded by humans. They were not horses and their fear was to be domesticated. Calder resisted against the pendant, and soon felt the power ebb away. Gripping it, he turned it over and felt it didn't seem to be doing much. Is it broken? He wasn't sure, but he was concerned because Roch was still here. He didn't want the boil trying to take the pendant from him and so he slipped the pendant over his collar to be hidden under his sweater against his bare chest.
Just as he was about to get up, he looked about. It was utter chaos. Roch exploded into many particles. He caught Christof being swarmed, their attention all upon him, and the Igor, with the drive and power that Calder deeply envied, vanished under their attacks. Gone. To where? He wasn't sure. Maybe to where Barth now was.
They could all be gone there.
I don't want to be alone.
He had to save them. He had to find a way to them. It was dumb luck the house placed them here, but second chances didn't come along that often if at all.
Calder dropped to the floor, sitting as he had been commanded to. He waited, and with all others gone, all the hunters turned upon him, weapons drawn and at the ready. As they did, all the hard work they had done to weaken the humans vanished with a quick patch-up job. He didn't have that ability, and knew he was vastly outnumbered. A blind attack, with what little power he had, would not work. He'd vanish with them all.
He only glared up at them from where he sat. "I'm not a horse." He huffed. "...and I'm a boil." Though, he could hardly say he was a stallion. Just some weak, stupid colt who couldn't do anything. You'll try. They just have to take you there.

"Your friends are fine." Bix was still at the ready. He suddenly felt like Clarice did, saying things he wasn't sure were true but selling it as best he could. "You're no use dead. In fact you are pretty lucky its us. The other hunters.. " Bix just whistled when he discussed a few of the more bloodthirsty of their organization.
Oh please... Mina was pulsing visibly. Just shoot him. I always hated those kelpies. Even the boils were pretty. She hissed hungrily.
Aww come one. Not as pretty as you? Bix pandered to her sensibilities, trying to keep her at bay.
Oh snowflake. You are learning about women. She let out a bit of a laugh.
Bix glanced at Before and Ariane out of the corner of his eye. Would the return command work with that other pendant? Though they could just grab him and return him themselves. Either way.. for now the house wasn't spitting in reinforcements and he'd like to get out of here before more arrived.
"Don't try anything funny." Though the command seemed to have worked but he couldn't see the pendant anymore as it seemed to have fallen under the thing's sweater. He wasn't going in there.
"She's always wanted a taste of kelpie" The albino hunter quickly wrapped his long braid back around his neck and once again was quick to the ready.

Bix and Ariane had taken out the two remaining creatures other than the horse one, who had turned back into a human - or rather, a human-like creature, since he still had ears and hoofs for legs.
The rifle swung upwards as Gale walked slowly across the room to join the others, resting the barrel against his shoulder. Jinhai made a thrumming noise, the coldness of the metal permeating through Gale's jacket.
The creature on the floor did not look like anything to be feared - instead he was curled up on his side, looking up at all of them with a defiant, red-faced expression as if daring them to try anything.
It was a familiar face - one that Gale himself had seen before.
"That creature," he said, meaning the demon they'd gotten rid of earlier. "He's your...significant other, isn't he?"
He'd caught a glimpse of the horse thing leaning down over Barth, and had thought he'd seen Barth lift his head to snog him - an awkward moment, no doubt, but it meant that they held a significant advantage over the hoofed creature - the one he liked was held captive, or maybe had been changed by now.
"At any rate, Bix is right about not trying to do anything rash," Gale said, in an almost bored tone of voice as he lifted his chin. "Just for the record."

Calder gave the humans a very unbelieving expression. "Yeah, like being tied up was just fine or kicking someone when they were tied up." He wouldn't believe them, but that didn't mean he wouldn't talk. He had to have them to take him to the others, and also to keep them from killing him right on the spot. This was his only chance. Sadly, if he had been in better spirits and more even ground, he might have tried using his looks, but they had been severally compromised during the events leading up to this room. While his race relied on attracting humans, his eyes were red, shot from crying too much, his sweater was torn in places and his hands cut up from hitting mirrors, and his hair, undone, while slick and smooth was still untied and flowing down his shoulders, back, and in his face. A fire room had tried it out, and he was very dehydrated. He hadn't had water all day.
What tough guy act he was mustering flicked when one human, a boil (right? Humans looks rather uniform), pointed out his relationship, or un-relationship, with Barth. Ears jerked up and his fingers clutched the hem of his skirt. "He's not. We're - We're just really good friend." Oh, he did not want to have this conversation with anyone, let alone with some humans that were fighting his kind. He had only confessed his feelings to Fester, who wouldn't tell about his crush, but he wasn't about to let the others know. He was trying to look fierce but it was hard when you were flushing.
He decided to restate his question. "Where are my friends? Where did you take them?" He wanted to know. NEEDED to know. He couldn't leave without them. Physical HP: 14

Ok Bix couldn't help it. Especially when the kelpie seemed to become sheepish when Gale asked about Barth.
"Oh wait.. oh no. Just friends?" Bix gave Gale a smirk. "This guy is my friend and we don't kiss." Gale had almost died earlier. Kissing him had not once crossed his mind. Bix almost made a crack about Gale's missing twin sister but that was probably in bad taste.
"I think he's blushing. Ohhh snaaaap.. Young love. Take him to monstro-prom or whatever?" Bix was obviously a few years older than those in his group so Calder definitely looked young to him as well. He looked like a high schooler.

"Well that was deliciousssss." The giant mouth on the ceiling murmured, before opening wide and expanding. It grew and grew until it encompassed the entire room, and then it swallowed. A soft dark tunnel, warm and wet closed around the group and tightened. After a few moment that quite possibly felt like much, much longer, the group was deposited into the hunters' hub, captive, couch, and all.
