Team Venture"Believe me, if they show up, you'll know which cloaked figures me and Bul are talking about." Damien replied back to Cady simply with the flick of his ear in dismissal of the subject. The less he had to remember that experience, the better he'd be. he didn't bother to open his mouth at Cady and the cleaning comment, frankly he didn't want to even bother with cleaning the windows. As he gave a sneer at the aforementioned panes in question. However careful eyes could have sworn that there were things floating around in there... "Hey did you guys see....." he stared off but the words died from his throat after another glace at the empty room. "Never mind, must have been my imagination." already feeling foolish for even mentioning the odd sight. lost in his own musings, be barly heard what the ghoul was saying until his ears pricked up at a few of the words in question that made him feel concerned. "Wait what, bits, one trip?" She must be Levi's student eating accomplice, oh how horrible!

Hearing Xiu's voice call out to them, Shun turned around to see the Baku approaching their little group. Nodding to her in acknowledgement first, he soon stepped over towards her, pausing briefly to see if Mitsu was going to come along.
When he was over by her, he stared at the outfit she was wearing. Why...
He just decided he wasn't going to ask.
"Hey," he said quietly, "Stay safe, ok?"

TEAM X Shehk had greeted Sammy with a smile, though for a moment Toby had not been before the Pricolici had stared at that eye.... woah. That was definitely something she hadn't seen before. Like....she'd been told it was there, but she hadn't actually seen it before. That was..... new. Well.... 'new'. Shehk's ears twitched a bit as she stared back at that eye for a moment. Then Altair walked up behind her and the Pricolici's gut response to someone walking up behind her was for her fur to puff and her elbow to go right for his ribs. Her ears had moved between about four positions before she finally looked back over her shoulder at the Incubus, her expression between a poker-face and an 'oops'. Clearly, she wasn't very good at her poker-faces. Or maybe having one hadn't actually been in her battle plan at all.
"Yeah, well. I might as well. Lessons learned and all that." Shehk said with a shrug. She'd learned, quite frankly, that if she didn't have those sons of bitches, someone else would just use them up blindly without a thought and then ******** over another party. Alas, the Pricolici still had some bitter thoughts about her final exam and how that had gone over. She'd been considering who the pills would be in possession of, but frankly after a moment of thought, they just went right into her own bag. So that was dealt with. However, that also meant if someone royally managed to piss her off, they might have been just outta luck.
Though frankly, her ability to be pissed off by someone was when her attempts to help them were completely in vain and she ended up dying because everybody wanted to stand in a freezing hallway and just slowly die instead of being moved to safety. Yep. Slightly bitter about that too. She hadn't even been awake for that. Perhaps that was the greatest insult to her sensibilities of all of them. She'd been out cold and turned into a display.
Never again.
There was this mild sort of look that came over Shehk's face when Nukpana joined the group, forcing herself to not linger too long on his presence and that numb ache it still left in her chest - not as painful as it had been before, but it still existed. She couldn't help it. Instead, she took a look around at the fi-....six! Who had assembled.
That looked like everybody. Even she wasn't sure how this group had come together, but it was quite the group. They were quite the group in quite the place.
"Not sure what we do in the meantime." she admitted plainly.

She knew there would be no problems if Holly had her back; whatever was going to come after them. It had been a gracious offer by the ghost fox ghoul to hand her back one of the pumpkin pills and Levi's number one rule, the momentarily forgotten, then popped up: never underestimate your opponent. Things happened that were out of your hands sometimes. Okay. Maybe it would be best to take one. She smiled but looked to Savior; she wouldn't question Holly's judgement, but if the ghoul thought she wouldn't need to keep one.... Thanks.
There wasn't really a pocket on the ghoul by the looks of it, anywho. In any case, if she needed it and Levi was there to offer, she'd use it on Savior without a blink. A friend of Holly's is a friend of mine. Guess this temporarily also might include West. It wasn't that she hated the boil, he just had a skill for knowing how to rile her up or something.
She looked around the crowd as well and spotted a petite ghoul she was somewhat surprised to see here given the training. It was Xiu; the baku must really be taking to her training! Her ears stood straight and a smile smoothed out when she padded over to greet her as Savior hoped off Holly. She felt she needed to do this in case she didn't get to see the baku later on. Xiu! So yer pickin' up some training' 'ere, are ya? Atta ghoul! She kept her hands to herself but felt a sense of pride that Xiu was pursuing her goal to become a better fighter.

Team Scarlet SabbathRoch grinned at the sight of the massive monster, feeling a little safer now. Jackdammit, he could handle this. He absolutely could handle this. The group he had was tough, they could handle anything that was thrown at them. He hoped, he added, thinking about the revelation that Rikki hadn't grown up the way he'd thought he had. "Rikki," he said, turning to his pal. "Do you want to be team leader? You're the one that's been to one of these things before, right?" The idea of any of the other three being the leader sent a chill down his spine. But he could handle Rikki being the leader.

For a moment, at Shun's words, a flicker of anxiety crossed Xiu's face. "...You too, aniki. Take care of each other, and be safe." She looked between Shun and Mitsu, her ears drooping slightly. Of course she had confidence in the reaper's powers and his dedication to protect the lycan, but there was still that lingering fear that something would go wrong. She hoped that their groups would run into each other sometime during this trip.
Her expression lightened when she heard a familiar voice call out to her. With a smile and a slight wag of her tail, the Baku turned to face the other ghoul. "Levi!" She nodded at the Tatzel's words before she suddenly perked up. That was right! She had something to tell her!
"Actually, I've been training a lot lately! I even did some sparring with other students!" She hadn't done half bad in those battles either, which had served to be a slight confidence booster. Of course, she couldn't claim to be anywhere near the fighting levels of Levi or Shun, but...she had still done fairly well!

By the looks of it now, Xiu wasn't alone. Shun and Mitsu had also come for the training. It wasn't so much a surprise that the reaper boil would be here but the lycan? Was she following up like Xiu as well and looking for a challenge? Good going, Mitsu! Truly, she knew there was something about these ghouls that intrigued her. They were willing to face danger head-on despite the odds; true examples of not taking your opponents lightly.
Maybe they had that killer instinct.
Well- Mitsu's white ears did on occasion still confuse her for her own kin... but what was this? Xiu had been sparring with others! Oh~? n' how'd ya find it? Felt good ta git in a few punches? Did'ya pin any? She didn't need to ask about the end results of the sparring... what was most important was that she'd been practicing and with multiple opponents! Her tail wavered happily in response to the conversation.

Mot was acting weird(er). Hel wasn’t sure what to make of this! It didn’t seem like he was crashing, no, it seemed like he was more…uncomfortable? “ Ah…” Wait…wait…did he just turn his back to her? The reaper stared, dumbfounded. Okay, something definitely wasn’t right. The ghoul turned her head back to regard her sister briefly. “T ake care, sister! Fight a good fight, yes? I will see you in due time.” Hel nodded her head and then marched over to Mot and right around to the front of him, staring up at him with her hands on her hips. “ What’s wrong?”

Team Luminous FluxIt was true that Natalia and Whisper made an adorable couple, the sight of them together brought a smile to the dolls lips. She hadn't realized when she had first met them, that the two shared feelings for one another, but it also didn't take that long for her clue into it. If anything though, the sight of them together for the trip only made her more depressed that Bul wouldn't be with her. The last trip was stressful, and well..insane, but she did feel comfort to have Bul near by. That wasn't to say that she didn't feel that way with her friends and Mort around. She was grateful to have a good group, she just hoped that Bul was as lucky as she was. "Glad you could make it, Whisp."
It was obvious that her words dampened their spirits a little--or made them more aware, possibly more alert to the dangers they might be facing. Think positive, think positive.. "Well..uh--its not the island at least! And we actually know the teachers--er..Red and her partners are here this time." Not like last time, where every single teacher and ToTer vanished from sight, leaving them to go it in on their own. "Not to mention, most of us here are Knobs now. Maybe things will be better this time?" Somehow, she doubted it. Her attention shifted towards Mortimer as he began to speak again. A smile spread across her lips as she nodded in agreement to his words. "Right! We can do this!"
"Sure thing." She nodded tucking the pills away into a small compartment in her backpack. "If anyone needs them, just say so." No doubt, they would all need one. But, they did not have that luxury this time 'round. Wise choices would need to be made for this trip. If they used them for every little bump and scrape, they would not last long. Hopefully her healing abilities would prove useful to the team.
While she waited, she glanced about the crowd of students joining up with their own groups. She recognized some of the faces, but not all. Had their school's numbers really grown that much?

Quietly, Shun just nodded to Xiu as she said more or less the same to them. Glancing to the side, he saw Levi coming up towards the group as well. Ah. There was another who he would need a true rematch against once they were done with this trip.
The Reaper just gave her an acknowledging nod, then glanced back to where the other reapers of his group were. It looked like Mot was still being pretty somber. Well, better than having him jumping off the walls.

Team AwesomeOh, was Freya gone now? Mot breathed a sigh of relief, opening his eyes again to see Hel right in front of him. Huh? What's she want? Oh.. he had been rude back then, hadn't he? Turning his back on a ghoul or friend was not like the boil at all. Perhaps he had been much too obvious about his feelings. The reaper stared down for a moment after Hel asked of his well being. Don't be obvious. Don't be obvious."Um... nothing." Of course Hel wouldn't fall for that. He'd already said it was nothing, and she didn't believe him. He needed... a lie. "I just.. uh.." Crap, he was a terrible liar. His eyes instinctively gazed toward the direction Freyya had left, a grimace crossing his visible features. "It's really nothing. I'm okay." The reaper gave the ghoul a head pat, forcing a smile.

"It was really good practice!" Xiu beamed, thinking back to how the battles went, "And I did do some pinning! A-as for the punches..." There was a hint of hesitation there. While she had gotten some punches and kicks in, she hadn't felt entirely good at the time. Proud, yes, but...
"I felt a little bad for punching a friend." She admitted, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly, "I know it was just a spar, and they were attacking me back, but...w-well! When I fight someone for real, they won't be a friend, right?" At least, Xiu certainly hoped that she never had to fight any of her friends for real. She shook her head to rid herself of these thoughts, thinking instead about how her practice was going--oh!
Fighting wasn't the only thing she had been practicing. "U-um, remember when you first taught me self-defense? And you asked me what I could do with my tail?" Xiu gave her tail a little swish, and then stepped up beside the Tatzel so that she could curl her tail around Levi's. "I practiced that too, so now I think I have better control over it!"

Team ARPKLattice smiled slightly toward Vieve in an attempt to look friendly but soon her attention was switched toward a new figure and a new voice she tilted her head toward the voice as she nodded a bit to confirm that her name was Lattice, "Pleased to meet you, Edel. I see our group has come together." She said almost sounding satisfied and even happy. A bit of excitement was starting to well up within the Engraver overtaking the anxiousness she had been feeling prior. Nothing could possibly go wrong with this!
Not at all.
Her attention returned toward Lizzy as she reached over to take the pill offered toward her with a curious tilt of her head, "I see. I shall keep it safe." Quietly she slipped it into the pocket of her blazer to keep it within easy reach. She heard other familiar voices around her but she felt it best to focus on her group so she didn't lose them all.
"This is very exciting," Lattice said in a tone that was almost chipper.

A good group? Psch. Riyo couldn't help but roll her eyes at that. Hel and Mot were obnoxious, Mitsu was afraid of her own shadow, and Shun... Oh she didn't even want to start. "You'll eventually understand just how little I like being around others."
When the baku took her hand, Riyo thought about yanking it away... But the meek and calm demeanor caused the feline to simply sigh in defeat. Fine. Whatever. She could just pretend she was somewhere else...
The usually straight standing cat demon slumped over as she followed Xiu over to her group once more, staring at the ground for the most part. Wait. Aniki? Who the ******** was- ... Shun. Oh dear sweet Jack, she was best friends with Shun. Another thing Xiu and Mitsu had in common.
"Mot?" Riyo asked, red orbs taking a gander over towards the cowboil. "********, he had three cups of coffee this morning. He probably just crashed."
And then Levi showed up. Augh. Everybody she knew. With a frown, she pulled her arm away from the baku and threw up her hood as if she expected that would help in some way.
She'd forgotten about the cat ears sewn to the top of it.

Team STFUShe nodded back to Shun in a friendly "sup" fashion before he made his way over to the cowboil's grouping. Mot was here too? A whole lot of familiar faces were popping up, it seemed. She suddenly wondered if the hound had made his way through the portal yet. Surely he wasn't being a scaredy pup again like at prom. Sighing internally, she wondered if it would've been a good idea to actually have picked him up kicking and screaming to bring him in with her this time. The boil could use some training. It would give him a chance to toughen up for when West finally decides to wail on him for his constant jokes in class. Coming back out of thought and returning her attention to the baku, Levi beamed back at Xiu when she said she'd been using her pinning techniques. Ain't no reason ta feel bad punchin' a friend! One'a ha best things ta do! Shows ya trust one 'nother. Ya know- learning' ta learn off'a each other. Of course, fighting = playing in most cases for the tatzel. Defense was one thing, but roughhousing was a common pastime back home that she indulged in even with those of her family. Those were some fine homely memories for her. If they ain't a friend, that's when ya take what ya learned from fightin' with yer friend. So- yer friends are helpin' ya fight them others. It was true; if you found out what worked and what didn't in battles where your opponent made their pains known, you could then generate the same knowledge towards real fights like what they might encounter here. Might come in handy 'ere... Smiling still, she recalled when she and Xiu had talked tail movement during their initial exercises. Yea, I remember. Then the tatzel watched the baku's movements as she aligned herself beside her. Allowing her tail to ease down, Xiu's thin tail picked up the end of her thick white tail displaying a notable difference in control. Well I'll be darned in a ditch...Her tail last time was shaky and seemingly unable to hold onto the weight of her tail for a long period of time. Now, Xiu's tail held her own in a firmer and steady grasp. This was a very commendable feat for Levi. Tatzels of her kind not only primarily used their tails for fighting and transportation but also for greeting and recognition of kinship. Xiu had just not only displayed that she'd improved physically but that she was also greeting Levi in a kinship fashion. Levi's eyes widened for a moment and then she chuckled, allowing her tail to in turn coil around the offered portion of Xiu's as if they'd held hands. Unlike hugging, this wasn't an embarrassing move ...since none other than she and perhaps Demi knew the significance. She'd have to explain her pride in the baku another time as they were surrounded by peers and prospective opponents. That's certainly some mighty fine work thar, Xiu! This tail 'a yers got some strength in'it fer sure! Ya'll keep workin' on it n' you'll be whippin' it at critters like nobody's business! Excel'lent progress~ She swayed her tail so that it swung with Xiu's which could be considered the equivalent of shaking hands or patting the petite ghoul on the head. Another tail caught her eye and while it wasn't as long as hers, the black tendril seemed familiar. Tatzel? No... this was Riyo, the ghoul she'd knew from CLIFF club and shared menacing thoughts with. Peering upward at the ghoul's new set of ears, Levi tilted her head, having to reach out and tap one with a finger to make sure they weren't real somehow. Ya had me fer a second thar. Though they might'a moved! keke~
