Nicolas Montague of the Guard Class-------------- "I tip my hat to you"
"You're an odd one, to be sure. Though that's never really a bad thing." This was trippy, and highly amusing, he wasn't regretting coming here. The voices sudden change and speed regarding ships was met with a soft chuckle and with interest he turned his stare down to the floor as that blue light began once more to reveal......what. Wasn't expecting that. In all honesty, zombie Mincinno was last on his lists of guesses as to what would rise from the floor next. He'd kinda been hoping for something less...dead, as it were. Regardless, his smile faltered for only a moment in face of this decaying atrocity before the voice began speaking again. Speed was everything? Well, of course it was. Whoever hit first had the adva-where did the Mincinno go-oh jeezus it was heading straight for them! Nicolas' lips curled upward in a smirk of sorts, his pleasant expression twisting into something more sinister. "That might've worked if Edgeworth wasn't just as fast!" He flung out his arm, pointing the end of his cane forward towards the airborn Mincinno. "Counter him with a tackle!" The Grass type dropped into a crouch, his tail folding up under him, and as he sprang up into the air that tail flicked downward acting as though a springboard to launch him with added momentum into the air and at the rotted Pokemon.

The Poochyena growled darkly as his move failed ...as he watched it break into nothing. He could have accepted that ....he could have let that go, but his fur was still fluff from the pain and the black stain on his coat wasn't going to simply wash away. It was enough as his eyes narrowed, his jaw hung open slightly with his intent, and he ready himself to take care of the problem in one quick blow ...as he saw that fire punch and strove to get underneath that attack ....with his very own tackle.

Through it is a ghost type move, and the girl was simply normal as she smirks as the winds howled and roared, but she knew in the end as long as she kept Aella close she would be alright. For, a ghost can only touch those that are sensitive to it ....like those with varies types. But, a normal type pokemon couldn't feel it, and the girl had gambled that she might be the same ....as the pokemon stay curled against her until the winds finally died down.
"Well, there isn't much for it ...since we can't actually hurt it yet ...use Charm again."
She declares to the pokemon as the Emolga would clambour her way from the safety place underneath her trainer to the girl's shoulder as she shook her tail a bit, and got in as seductive a pose as he dares. With one hand behind her head, and the other on her hip as she gave a wink and her tail itself would twitch invitedly.

Poochyena HP: -8
Fate was not kind to the Poochyena, as while Fable's tale had just begun, the pup's was entering the final chapter. The dog went low, but not low enough. The scent of burnt fur would sear the canine's nostrils as flames lapped at his muzzle. The sickening crunch of bone followed as the Charmander's fist collided with his adversaries face; the counter only serving to worsen the inevitable impact. Blood would no doubt stream from the broken nose, boiling, then drying almost immediately amidst the receding embers.
Pivoting, Fable turned his back upon the pup. This was over. Shaking his hand in one swift stroke, the flames dispersed. The Charmander's tail lashed to one side then settled. He'd won...the sweet taste of victory was his...rather then the bitter taste of his own blood.
Raven waited wordlessly for the unknown voice to speak; he would not recall Fable before then. The boy did not wish for this win to be turned into a loss simply because he'd recalled too early.

Impromptu stopped abruptly in the middle of his attack as he watched the Mienfoo jump, eyes breaking their focus and becoming full of wonder. "> Whoah! That was...that was awesome! <" he said, turning around to face her. His tail wagged, it didn't look like he was fighting at all! This wasn't something you were supposed to do in a battle, afterall, you couldn't just leave yourself prone to attack like that!
The magician behind him sighed, digging into her pocket and taking out a dark purple, disinflated balloon. She blew it up and tied the nozzle, holding it out in her hand as she dug through her pocket. She pulled out one single, small, silver pin and held it in her hand, "Impromptu..." she pulled the hand with the pin in it back, closing an eye almost as if aiming.
"...PAY ATTENTION!" she yelled, hand rushing forwards and pushing the pin into the balloon. The purple balloon popped, and in its place was a blue one instead, inflated just as the one before it was. Yes, the Immortal Keckleon balloon trick, always a great way to keep the crowd - and a certain assistant - awake and alert.
The Growlithes head snapped up and turned to look at her, his eyes filled with determination again. "> Oh, yeah, right, the fight! <" he said, getting down in a crouching position as he growled and looked at the Mienfoo, eyes locked onto her. "> I'll get you, if you don't get me first! <" this time around, no tricks, no aces up the sleeve...this time, he was just going to run for it when it came!

The Emolga would find herself with a less then favorable reaction. Rather then even bothering to respond, the Castform simply sat their, vacant eyes starring into empty space. Unblinking, the Pokemon gazed at the empty air, seeming to take little, if any interest in the electric squirrel.

((Fumble! Yes!)) Anguish slipped back as the Bellsprout escaped its grip. Instead of its usual defense, the Seviper began slithering around the room in a random pattern, moving in and out of range erratically as the plant's vine whipped forth. Perhaps a more clever defense would work better for the serpent.

(18 - 17) + (7 - 7) = 1 DMG
Edgeworth HP: 13/14
Just as fast perhaps if they'd began their assault at the same time, but the short head start would prove to be all the Minccino needed to get the upper-hand upon his opponent. Just before the Snivy got within the range to strike the Minccino's tail would come down against the back of the reptiles head, followed promptly by the full wait of the small rotting animal.
Almost as quickly as he had struck, the Minccino grabbed his own tail and cartwheeled back to his original position. The hit had been a small one, but it still meant that Edgeworth was now falling behind. "GWAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You might be fast on foot, but your reaction time is slower then a gravestone!" The voice cackled.
"Alright beanstalk, let's see if your little sprout can manage to land anything on the second swing!" The voice taunted, turning it's attention rather quickly back to it's charge "Minccino, defend!"
Turning about, the Minccino began dragging it's tail against the floor, sweeping it back and forth with increasing vigor. Soon enough dust and dirt began to fill the air, forming an itching stinging cloud to block the Snivy's view!

Soon after Vulcan had finished his attack, he watched as the Kecleon disappeared into a red light. He was a bit disappointed… He was starting to enjoy her presence, in spite of the fact that she had nearly knocked him out with one attack. Though the feeling was short lived… As soon as the Kecleon was gone, another pokemon appeared. One that made Vulcan almost regret his decision to use roar.
Vulcan hardly had time to think about his next move before his opponent was attacking. Instead of waiting for the attack to reach him and try to dodge it, Vulcan started to run straight towards the attack (which made Pascale question his sanity) and attempt to run around it in order to avoid being hit by the black and purple beam and also counter the Dark Pulse by getting a good chunk of Seviper flesh from his opponent. Nicolas Montague of the Guard Class-------------- "I tip my hat to you"
Nicolas would have cursed if it was in his nature to do so, but such vulgarity was hardly suited for a gentleman. He watched with a frown as Edgeworth hit the ground chin first from the impact, but seconds later the Snivy had pushed himself back up to his feet with a scowl and a leafy hand extended out in a challenge. 'Bring it on' it said. His trainer smiled in response to this gesture and took a moment to casually adjust his hat so it slanted down over his eyes before continuing on. "Is that the best you can do?" The boy asked, though far from being cocky his voice held the idea that he was enjoying this and would prefer it be more exciting. His words were answered as a brief sandstorm of sorts kicked up, he could barely make the Mincinno's partially decayed shape out amongst the grains of dust that obscurred the area around it. It hardly bothered Nicolas, but Edgeworth grew agitated at the particles getting in his eyes and took a moment to paw at his own face in annoyance. "Edge!" His trainer's voice brought him back into focus and the Snivy stepped forward to wait for Nicolas' next command. "Grass Pledge!" The order was swiftly followed by a sudden stirring of wind around the serpent-like Pokemon's feet and the breeze kicked up to spiral around him, leaves slowly joining the cyclone that began to gradually extend outward before Edgeworth flung the full force of the leafy hurricane out at the Mincinno in it's cloud of sand.

The Poochyena had died as his face exploded into flames, and his eyes bulged out simply from the blunt blow. His entire body was forced to slide forward as his head went back and he hit the ground with a sickening thud. It was right, the match was over ...., but even over ...it wasn't done ...as the Poochyena's body twitches lightly before it was consumed by a white light.
Growing smaller and smaller, until eventually the pokemon itself seemed to grow no smaller than a pokemon egg as the light died away to reveal him to be so. It would seem that even those pokemon that competed followed those same laws ...as the sound of footsteps would echo around the two. A boy that appeared to be older than Raven stepped out of seemingly nowhere, the same shimmering effect that had brought both the pokemon and the potion seemed to have a hand in his arrival.
There was no complaint there as he walks over to the pokemon egg and picks it up. His eyes a cold grey and his hair matches in the silver color. He gave the boy such a cold look that it was hard to miss it ....as he walks back to where had had been without a word and disappeared into that same shimmer.
These were real pokemon and trainers battling here.
And it could possible seen a shiver down the back of anyone whom thought too much on that subject.
The voice would declare once he is gone.
"Congratulations on your success, please go back to the auditorium and complete the registration process."

Raven watched the elder boy in silence as he appeared and departed, his eyes cold and unflinching. The road to true strength was not one built with hatred, but it was certain to be a by product. If one wants to be strong, then others must become the weaker.
One had to meet cold gazes with a fiery conviction, one capable of keeping the coldest heart warm. While some chose to freeze their hearts against such matters, Raven would set his own ablaze with fires so hot no one dare draw near...but even that would take time.
The process over at last, Raven lifted up Fable's ball and recalled him; the youth left without a word a moment later...[Exiting]

(-1 to Bellsprout's attack rolls))
The Bellsprout missed as each vine after the other slapped the ground. Though the snake was slithering in a way that couldn't be called anything less than confusing ...it was just bad concentration on the Bellsprout's part that pretty much having him fumble his attack as he stops.
The look of confusion as his mouth bend inwards, and he cocks his head to one side appeared on it's face. It would have to do better ...as the pokemon smirks and then shifts to an openly defensive stance. It's leaves forward as it ready itself for the next attack.

Through the Meinfoo is a master at straight forward attack ....as she smiles wildly ...and a straight forward dodge was something that she couldn't just handle any day of the week. Her tail went straight as she rushes forward at full speed ....her legs rushing as she went for a pound straight for the Growlithe's head.
Her ears were flat as she looks to slam the Growlithe into the ground and slide him across the ground.

It was a bit unnerving ....as the Emogla's ears went flat against her skull. This was a hard battle to deal with, and she could only hope that it would be over with soon ....as she closed her arms and allowed herself to fall once more. She would land on her trainer's head with her tail darting up and down ....as she looks from her trainer to the Castform.
This match if it wasn't for the disable might have already been over, or she might have been dead already. It was hard to tell as the girl's hand came up to scratch, Aella behind the head.
"We got to avoid this one more time, and then ...you can get some pay back."
She declares sharply as the pokemon nods her head once, and the two prepared themselves to deal with whatever might be coming their way.
