Kuro began laughing then suddenly fringed "oh no Emma please don't hurt me" he said in a mocking tone, then began running in a mocking way in circles"what ever shall I doooooo..." Kuro then stopped a few feet away and began to laugh again"whoo....that was funny"he said whipping a laugh induced tear from his face "any who...,let me tell you what I know so far..." Kuro lifted up one finger " one, you've join a group that you, believed to be your new family,, two," He said now lifting up two fingers "you you helped spread this virus, three"now lifting three fingers "you lied to your self about being in a pact with monsters, which you your self are now one. four" Now lifting four fingers " you find out to late that: oh, wait there monsters and they were just using me...which by the way was kinda obvious, and Five"now holding five fingers up "your boss is now using you like a puppet." Kuro said then put his hand down and shook his head "anyways...oh, wait I almost forgot, six...your way more trained and most likely more powerful then me...but I figured you knew that...but..." Kuro said raising his arms to the side "though this body may be weak, I ravel in pain so this works out, and seeing as you getting your energy back, why not show me that power of yours?, Oh I almost for got to answer your question, if it wasn't obvious already but I don't like to be rude...I'm not the one you call Kuro" he said then blurted out laughing then quickly fixed his pose for battle as he stared her down with a grin across his face

Emma chose not to attack him yet as it hastened her regeneration of her energy. "Then...you'll die." Emma said, cringing, now that her ki was back there was something Lucy could use to control her, she could feel herself slipping away once more. "I'll pound that smug grin of your's in to the dirt, Kuro's face or not." Emma's right hand was clenched in to a fist while her left kept a solid grip on her scythe.

Avara's Sense Danger alerted her that Matt was going to attack her. Not wanting to get hit, again, she went completely limp and used the Drop and then Roll skills. She dropped to the ground fast and only received deep scratches before she hit the ground and rolled seven feet away. She then uncurled and looked at the two boys, eyes narrowed. She used Lifeforce Repression to keep from bleeding any more.
Drop - E-Ranked
This is a technique used to initiate the stance of the style and is one which can also be used to evade attacks. The user simply allows his body to become completely relaxed as they lean forward. This allows gravity to literally shove the user's body towards the ground. Due to the added force of gravity the user's speed increases by two for their fall, and ONLY their fall.
Roll - E-Ranked
This is an evasive maneuver which can be easier to perform then attempt to "leap" from spot to spot. Just as the name suggests the user will perform a simple roll in order to evade an incoming attack or, possibly, use it to create an opening. The user can use this technique in almost any direction possible. Rolling to the side, front, back, etc.
Lifeforce Repression
Rank: E
Description: Basic control move where the user sucks blood back into their wound and holds it there. This in effect keeps the user from bleeding out or dying of blood loss for some time. This costs E-rank ki per post.

Matt grinned and toyed with the stake in his right hand. "Thanks. Real shame I had to do that." He saw her wounds close up... but not quite. "That's an awful neat trick... but I have this feeling that the second that ends..." He left the statement hanging as he stood in a relaxed position, waiting for her next move.
Matt made it a point to read. It was all he did once he got a book that actually had some relevant information, and he even took a peek at a few that didn't. Sleeping in class wasn't an option for him.
She'd have to move sooner or later. She was running out of knives. That sword could only do so much. And the more she used her tricks, the more energy, and sometimes the more blood, she spent. Oh, he knew she could chew him to pieces at any time. Every move, every step, every thought in her head was geared toward that, and she was stronger than him to boot. Had more tricks.
So every move, every step, every piece of intent he had was geared toward stopping her. Killing her, no. Couldn't do that. But stop her... They could do that.
He looked toward Josh. "You okay there?"

Kuro deducted this from her not fringing or flinching when struck "and you used an ability to keep your blood from flowing out...interesting...where gonna have to stop that now, won't we?" Emma walked forward, she didn't need to refuse to fight him any longer. With speed faster than she really needed to show off she knocked the wooden sword out of the air with her forearm. Before continuing she picked it up off the ground and broke it in half with simply raw power, he didn't need it anymore. She threw the shards behind her and shook her head. "Is that your best?" Emma asked, she sighed, she expected this alternate persona of his to be a little more of a challenge than this for all the smack talk he did. "It makes me sick to even look at you, run away, trust me, it'll make this more fun...for me."

Emma said, they were still in the crypt there was little room for him to move around in here, so unless he ran he was already beaten if she used Execution. Josh nodded to Matt in compliance. He was fine he just needed away to bring this chick down. He to his Muay Thai stance. Bringing the knee up slightly of his injured left leg. His ankle still stung but he was able to take it. He brought his fist up so that his elbows were at about chest level and his fist were palm forward at eye level. He noticed the Avara's wounds were healing. She had to be burning through ki and loosing blood. Her style was dangerous not only to herself but to her enemies.
He awaited her next move. His cloths dirty from hitting the ground so much. "Yo! Matt don't get any of her blood on your skin. If it hits your cloths loose them." He said calling out to him.

Matt grinned. "Yeah, I noticed." That wasn't the only dangerous thing about her though. Apparently she had multiple means of combat, one of which was in the form of those irritating knives. If he just stood there, she'd try to toss a few at him. Come to think of it, the question entered his mind again. Just how many of those did she have left?
The only way to find out was to get her to keep throwing the things until she couldn't anymore.
Matt saw him get into a Thai stance and smiled. "Tell you what, why don't you try caving her ribs in with those legs of yours?" Hopefully that'd be enough of a hint that being at range, at least in the conventional sense, just wouldn't work. So far, the only tactics that made sense were close-range ones.
He'd know... he'd tried, and it worked to at least frustrate her efforts.

Emma had been closing in on him for so long they'd been close enough to fight right now, but using a scythe wasn't her best option since she needed the room to swing...so she switched to her greatsword. Since she was taking up the path of retribution like Hunter it didn't seem as heavy as it should have to her. She stabbed the quick, yet giant blade at Kuro's neck, nothing to difficult to dodge, she was just leading him in to a trap unless he exited the crypt. The trap? Emma took a single step forward with the stab, if he did what she thought he was going to do then he'd be falling in to it.

Josh smirked. "Not a bad idea actually." He chuckled not being sure if it was sarcasm or if he was serious. "I'll go in first. You try to find an opening." Josh said as he broke into a dash. With each step, his ankle screamed in agony but his mind was set on one thing. Kill. Such a killing intent flowed off him, it was like madness. The ki around his body glistening in the light of the moon. He would come up to her right as she was trying to close her wounds. Putting his weight on to his right foot, he brought his left knee up. As his he turned his hip, his left leg would whipped as if cocked back like a rubber band. If his knee made contact it would doubtly shatter a rib, if she blocked it would knock her down leaving a bruise.
As he knee rose, a ki circle would form behind her. Rising from it at a sixty degree angle a spike would shot from it. 'Lunar Basic Rise.' He thought as he tried to pin her. The spike aimed to hit her in the back, where he had stabbed her prior, if it hit then it would surely impale the injury. Giving her only the option, if she chose to dodge, of moving to the left.
