There was a lot going on, frankly. And it took a moment for Roxy to get her barrings from her dizzy spell. At first she had figured it was from sitting too long in the same position for what seemed like hours, just methodically placing gems on one of the sleeves of her latest creations. But, obviously that wasn't true. There was a rainbow under her bare feet, some sort of golden thing in the background and lots of people - which she would have normally strived to go mingle with. But everyone was confused, and really at first she thought this was some weird time travel dream or something with the LARPers she had noticed. But given everyone else's current garb and how more high fantasy those two seemed to have... obviously, again, not.
That was another thing, her current attire. She was dressed in shambles, in Roxy's opinion; a couple of wife beaker tank tops layered on one another and track shorts in bright yellow. Her hair was a total mess and she had a few yellow tipped pins stuck to one of the straps of her shirt - for another matter, her bedazzler was totally missing from her hands, how did that work? How did you not get from one place to the next without the thing in your hand?
Where was here anyways? Space? A dreamland? What? There was music at some portions during all the commotions - why Roxy hadn't questioned everyone yet, another odd thing really. A very tan flamboyantly dressed guy had managed to get to them, only causing the blonde to frown further when she looked at him. Yeah, those shorts? He was probably batting for the other team ... damn. But he was gone just like that... and Roxy was lost.
Really lost. Sure, there was a name now for where they were but Roxy felt completely lost. She didn't know where she stood in relation to Earth geography. There might have been some initial barrings but she was really feeling how not so there as she had hoped. Her hands had somehow made its way to her head, fingers lacing through the loose strands of her hair in slight panic. No idea where she was.... this was so frustrating.
And the other blonde girl in the really pretty outfit was not helping. "s**t..." she hissed.

Woah. Rewind and freeze, please.
Raven frowned, after having watched Super Sailor Neso run off--why was he so naked! Were they aliens?
She gave a shrug as Jett motioned to her, then cocked her head, almost willing him to walk back over.
Addressing her new little group she shook her head. "So...uh." She glanced to Soldier Virgo, the surrounding? What did the surrounding surround? Huh. What an interesting concept.
The girl hesitated, then reached out, taking Darwin's hand. "Why don't we...Well, I half want to suggest we make a run for it, but then, maybe we shouldn't. She looks human, doesn't she? She's very pretty."

Layton was about to say a very curt "nice to meet you sir" but she was interrupted by a boy, who shined like ... well like the sun. He must've been God right? If they were dead, she assumed that God would be shining like that. Besides, who else would be able to run as fast?
Only moments later, a very pretty girl showed up. Was this an angel then? Layton listened up very politely as she spoke up. The moment she began, Layton had her hands cupped in front of her, listening earnestly.
So they were in the Surrounding, and they weren't supposed to be. Layton said, very quietly to her new friend Felix and her brother Callum, "I ... I didn't mean to be here! I didn't know I was breaking rules..." Layton was fidgeting now. She wasn't a rulebreaker! She was a good girl! A good girl!

“Excuse me!... Um…ZODIAC captain Mam?” Dannay called raising her hand trying to be heard above that, she rather felt, understandable rumbles of uncertainty.
“Excuse me… You seem confused by us being here, but we’re confused too, can you tell us where HERE is and maybe how to get BACK? I think we’d all be happier with that…you had to get here somehow too right? I mean you –look- pretty human, though that could be something like… trying not to break our brains, you’re not like…green or anything.” She rattled on before waving a hand and stopping herself. “Well you get the idea… I mean we can only be sheep dogged along a rainbow road to… here, for so long before we all start getting past ‘this is weird’ and way more into the ‘this is ******** up’ and ‘am I dead’ kinda zones… which if we’re not supposed to be here then either you’re not death or we’re not planned and either way we’d STILL like to go home…”
So many words for what should have been a simple request.

Neso was streeeeeeking... Insert snort here.
They weren't supposed to be here? That was odd. "We aren't supposed to be here...? She Who is Panicking, we should stay here until... Virgo was it? Tells us what's going on..."
I have a bad feeling about this... oh Argabauth would you were real and could help us... she thought to herself, starting to panic some. They weren't supposed to be here.
There was something bad going down. She grabbed Darwin's other hand, suddenly scared.

Oh. Oh, so now Raven wanted him to head back to her little cluster. Well. She might know something, so he cast one last look at Virgo and said to Molly, "Hey. I'll be back." He wasn't not inviting her to join, but doubted she'd be interested. He flashed her a small smile before he sauntered over to join Raven. He stayed within relative ear shot of the woman so that if she had anything important to say, this time he wouldn't miss it.
He eyed Raven holding Darwin's hand, wondering if Raven was still trying to trick him into thinking they were actually dating--as if her self procalimed 'best friend' Molly hadn't already convinced Jett that the couple was just a ruse--or if Raven was actually afraid or something. This Darwin guy actually seemed pretty popular with the ladies, despite his somewhat off appearance. Raven and Mary had been hanging all over him practically since they'd gotten here.
Well, you know. Good for him.
Jett stood taller than the three but it wasn't like he had to look down at them to be comfortable speaking to them. He should have had something clever and witty to say, but instead just said, "It's less crowded here. And I'd rather stay with the girl than the guy. No offense, but I'd rather stay with her than some half naked guy."
...Even if it meant standing around, collecting dust while he waited for someone else do the work to figure out what was going on for him.

"The 'hot guy' has gone to fetch the Princess and the rest of the Guard," she explained, her tones clipped. She set her hands on her hips, looking over the group. Interviewing every single one of them would just be impractical, and truth be told she did feel bad. None of them seemed to have any idea what had brought them there, which was a little sad because Virgo was ninety-nine percent sure this was a Negaverse plot to sabotage the Surrounding. Although hopefully the Negaverse didn't know about the Surrounding just as yet. It wasn't even fully functional.
Some of the civilians--now that she looked closer, she recognized some of them as Meadowview classmates--had gone silent. Virgo appreciated this, and favored them (Lynn, Amy, Natalia, Jett) with a smile. She had a nice smile; people told her that all the time. Very friendly. Very open.
Unfortunately she did not feel very friendly or open to the people who kept peppering her with questions she didn't know the answer to. "I'm here because this is Zodiac territory. This is our home in space, and you are all intruders. No doubt you didn't mean to--" she addressed this to the polite boy (Joshua) "--but all the same, someone has put you here."
She sighed at Anders's question, and then Dannay's. "I'm a Soldier of the Zodiac, and Captain of the Guard. Sixth of Twelve, the Guardian of Innocence. You are all on Zodiac Territory. It's not a dream, you're not dead, and you're likely not going to die soon. I know it is not your fault. I am not angry. I will do my best to return you once the rest of my Guard is here. I cannot leave you here alone and unattended. There are places here that civilians weren't meant to see." Not in the least a certain room at the top of a temple. What else could she do?
"I am human, just like you. I am also a senshi, unlike you. And this is a barrier at the edge of Sol System that keeps bad guys out. You are on it, right now."
After a pause, Virgo adjusted her circlet. "I would like the calmer members of this group to please tell me what the last thing you remember before you woke up here is. If you are going to curse at me, please wait until someone calmer has gone. If you choose to come up here, please state your name so I can call on you again later if I need you."

Eliza stayed to the back of the group, being very calm and enjoying what she believe to be a daydream at first. The most realistic daydream of a magical place that she had ever seen. All the names and faces, it was amazing and as she walked she looked down to her one socked feet walking on a rainbow road. A rainbow road.
She looked up with a grin, walking in a daze and keeping to herself only catching snatches of the conversation here and there. Listening to the theories and grinning to herself. 'It's MAGIC,' she thought happily as they walked and conversed.
Then there was a boy, she looked up with her wild hair going in every which direction curly, straight, tangled with several little decoration. Her eyes went wide and she was a bit giddy. His outfit was so COOL. She wondered if he was like a guardian or something, but then he was gone.
Then there was a girl and her outfit was so COOL. She grinned happily moving through the crowd practically vibrating with excitement. Her wild hair moving about, over large hoodie sliding of her shoulder. She looked more suit to the jungle and probably raised by wolves.
"Magic," she whispered eyes shining.
Eliza blinked and raised her hand, "Um I was pretending to fight pirates on my bed at crystal. My heart went all funny and I was going to find a nurse. Than I was here. And I'm Eliza. Um nice to meet you."

Her eyes widened as an oddly dressed man suddenly ran by, speaking with a strangely calm and pleasant tone. Unlike many of the others around her Menthe was not admiring his physique, simply starring at the fact that someone else was around.. and that said someone was so.. at ease about everything. Okay.. maybe he was pretty strange looking too.
What was the surrounding by the way?
When the woman appeared, the secretary was more then happy to comply with her. Not chattering and asking things like everyone else. She said be quiet right? Well that was possibly Menthe's special skill!
Still and silent the woman with mint hair stood, watching the veiled woman intently as she spoke about this and that and promised to help. If she could get them home that would be just wonderful!

Thanks to the glamour, Natalia did not recognize her fellow schoolmate, who was evidently some Zodiac captain? Huh...
Not a dream. Suuuuuure~ It wasn't easy to change Natalia's mind. In fact, she seldom, if ever, would admit to being wrong. If she was, she'd simply clam-up and become pissy. However, she was still convinced that this was her dream. Though why she would dream about space in the first place, a barrier around the solar system, was beyond her.
She spoke up calmly, playing along with Virgo, "I'm Natalia Tsaritsa, and well, I was sitting in my room after dinner doing som bead work. I guess I fell asleep. Next thing I know, I'm on Rainbow Road here," a hand passed through the air, indicating thier,...surroundings...for lack of a better word. A shrug followed, "It's simple as that."
She waited to see other people's stories, one hand on her hip, and the other casually flicking a piece of poofy hair out of her face. A classic exasperated teenager pose.

Flannery was amused. Her childhood friend was extremely dependable, even when they'd been kidnapped to space. Wallace had been angry at her, but it had quickly dissipated and he'd fallen in behind her like she'd planned it. Without even thinking about it, Wallace had named himself in the same style as she'd named herself. As much as he pretended to being a leader, going so far as to participate in student government, Wallace wasn't a leader and never had been. And now he was Blue where she was Red, sitting beside her in search of the comfort she'd always provided to him before. Because Flannery was a leader, and he was her first mate. And she wasn't scared at all, because this was right. This was the way things always would be.
Plus, Flannery was on an adventure, now. She patted Wallace's head comfortingly, knowing that it would annoy him but make him feel a little better too.
"Don't worry," Flannery said. "I'll figure out what to do, Blue." And she would, although Wallace probably wouldn't like her plans. But Flannery wanted excitement, and her childhood friend would surely follow. Because he always did.

Uh, hell no he hadn't meant to come here !
Though... what was he doing before he came here ? He took a tentative few steps toward Virgo but stopped before he could breach personal space. Or so he hoped. He understood none of this... zodiac s**t.
All he knew is, if this wasn't a dream (he still wasn't wholy convinced), then he wanted to get the hell back home. "I was in my dorm room, then... My heart started beating real fast. Everything went black. Then I was here."
Not much, really, even he had to admit. "Then I... heard something, earlier. I have no idea what it was." As long as this... senshi ? Made no move to harm him, Joshua saw no need to be difficult. "And uh... my name's Joshua."

So far, Aya was taking this whole thing with a large bowlfull of salt. At first, she'd thought she was having the weirdest dream this side of the one where she turned into a cat at work (and kept typing away only to find that her article printed as a lolcat macro instead of the provoking piece on the city's terrorists that she'd painstaking typed out with itty bitty kitty paws). Only this was a little too vivid for a dream, and despite the otherworldly surroundings, still too realistic - time wasn't skipping, she wasn't suddenly in another place apart from the weird vertigo that dragged her here, and the group of fifty-something other confused people were entirely too self-centered and annoying to be figments over her imagination.
So, first theory down. Second try: mass hallucination. Except she was very certain there'd been no one else in her bathroom watching her brush her teeth before bed - certainly not fifty people, anyway. And while one or two of the faces looked familiar, they weren't all residents of her apartment building. (And really, she was incredibly grateful that she wore long, soft pants and a singlet top to bed - imagine being abducted away wearing lingerie or something!)
Government conspiracy? Hmm. Possible (and done before, if you believed the many letters the newspaper received on the subject - Aya didn't). But Aya couldn't think of anything she'd done that would draw such attention or necessitate such action.
With the weirdos that kept showing up, perhaps 'alien abduction' was looking the most likely. Except Aya didn't believe those accounts sent to the paper any more than she believed all the conspiracy theories. It might explain the weird area - the rainbow bridges was a little too muppet or Disney for her. If this wasn't real, someone had been spending a little too much time with the cartoons before designing their fake 'alien' world.
Aya's PDA had no signal whatsoever, but that didn't stop her from tapping away on it. When the strange people began showing up, she switched to a notepad app and began jotting things down. If this turned out to be real, she would have one hell of an article to write - removing herself, of course, as there was no need to ruin her barely-forming reputation with the title of 'crackpot'.
"The Surrounding?" she repeated as the mostly-naked guy left on his rainbow speed-track. "Where's that, besides 'here'?"
Weird name. She didn't recognise it. But he had spoken English, so chances were this was still Earth, not an alien planet... right? Wherever they were, there was clearly a miscommunication between the residents. The first guy had welcomed them, but when the 'responsible' person he mentioned showed up, she claimed that they should not be here.
'No s**t, lady. Pretty sure my bathroom mirror does not include a teleportation function.'
"Well, if you could get us back to where we should be, that'd be pretty damn awesome," she said, instead of what she'd been thinking. "I've got a meeting first thing tomorrow. I can afford to lose a few hours sleep, but if I don't get some, I'm gonna be useless tomorrow."
And Aya did not approve of being useless. Neither did her boss, and Aya had plans regarding her career that did not involve invoking his ire (at least, not for anything less than writing a column article so controversial that it grabbed everyone's attention and sparked a city-wide debate on whether she was a genius or the daughter of Satan).
Tilting her head to one side, she narrowed her eyes at Virgo. A thought had been niggling at the back of her mind since the happy-go-lucky beach-bum had appeared, only growing stronger now that they'd met someone... less naked. "Would you care to comment on your resemblance to the terrorists of Destiny City?"

"Ricky Cunningham," he said proudly to Captain Virgo, stepping closer to her and emerging from the human wall he had crafted. He was still worried about the aliens, but the girl seemed plenty nice enough. Besides, he was pretty damn sure he'd be able to take her in a fight. He wasn't sure what a Senshi was, or what she had meant by declaring herself the Guardian of Innocence, but he wasn't sure what a lot of things meant. "Last I remember, I were taken a shot o' whiskey with my buds."

Oh this was ridiculous. She almost growled as the second strangely dressed people appeared and started taking over. What the ******** was a senshi and why should they care? All anyone seemed to want to do was go home and it should be easy enough to do. If these 'senshi' could get out here and they were human as Virgo said then they could get back to earth.
Tugging Regina and Amy with her, hoping that Regi could keep her mouth shut about aliens since the girl had said she was human, she headed up toward the front of the crowd.
"Hey, okay ... Mrs Virgo was it? I'm Jocelien, a little ticked that i'm here and not back in my house working on jewelry, and would just like to go home after beating the s**t out of whoever drug me out here. Is there anything we can do besides just stand around here like sheep?"
