Laci smiled down at the little girl. She reminded her so much of her sister. Bending down she knelt so she could be close to eye level. "Hum, naming a pet can be difficult." Laci smiled "You could always name the puppy something simple. Like Fido."
Avarossa raised a brow to her husband. So the girl liked kids, sure she had said it the night before. But she was proving she wasn't lying. Good points. "Maybe MisS Laci and Uncle Nihl can help you come up with a name."

Afsana gave the woman an odd look for a drawn out moment before she tilted her head and asked the woman, "Are you Uncle NIhl's new wife?"
Grigori stifled a laugh instead of coming to the woman's defense. He was curious as to the nature of their relationship, too. What could he say?"

Laci felt her face redden. "Um well no." Laci said trying to calm herself down. They weren't married though she was starting to hope he thought more about her. "I am just visiting. I'll be leaving later today."
Avarossa frowned. She had been hoping Nihl would have put the moves on the girl. Sure it might not be the right thing, but if it got Nihl a wife, who seemed like a good women. She would feel much better. "Oh you'll be leaving? Do you plan to come back and visit us again?"

"If you like puppies and cookies you should stay." Afsana informed the woman rather matter-of-factly, "Then Uncle Nihl will like you."
Nihl smiled warmly at the girl, "But isn't that what you like Afsana? Then should I marry you?"
Afsana made a disgusted face, "Ew. You're a king, Uncle Nihl. I'm gonna be a warrior, warrior's don't marry kings."
"You never know who a warrior or a king will love, Afsana."
"You're right. I'll be both."
Nihl laughed, "That's not what I meant, but hey, I like a girl who can reach for the stars."
Grigori joined his friend in laughter and reached down to lift his daughter again, "Alright, you, come along now. We have to wash your dog, then you have to show him to Attorra, don't you?"
Nodding vigorously, Afsana clung to her father and waved, "Bye uncle Nihl and nice lady."

Avarossa smiled at the young women "Hope you'll come to visit again." She said before turning and walking away with her husband. "Let's get your stinky puppy washed." She glanced down at the little critter laying in her arms.

Laci watched them leave. "Well Miss Afsana is a little bundle of joy. I'm sure she'll tire that puppy out in no time." She giggled. "Kids can be such handfuls."

Afsana nodded but was quiet as she rested her head on her daddy's shoulder, "I'm be a warrior, daddy."
"I know, sweetheart. The best one ever, too. I bet you can even be a soldier for Uncle Nihl someday, hm?"

Nihl laughed along, "She certainly is. I hear I was too as a child though, just like my brother's daughters. Quite rambunctious." He put out his arm, "Shall we?"

Avarossa sighed, she knew it was pointless trying to turn her daughter into a young lady. Not when she was so dead set on being a warrior. "I want you to be a safe warrior then." She said leaning over to kiss the child on the forehead.

Laci took his offered arm. "I never heard any stories of what I was like as a child." She frowned. "I guess that means I was a well behaved one." With a shrug she dismissed the thought. "I hope the chef wont be cross with us for being so late."

"Danger!" Afsana informed her mother, "Danger for warriors!" She turned to her father, "Right Daddy?"
"Not always." Grigori bounced his daughter once on his hip to het a better hoild on her, "A warrior is smart. A warrior doesn't look for fights, a warrior just wins a battle when kit has to be fought."

Nihl shrugged, "He's always cross with me for some reason or another. He's probably left so he wouldn't have to see me, and the food is likely out in the kitchen awaiting our arrival. Come." he pulled the woman along behind him.

Avarossa nodded her head. "If you're going to be a warrior you have to be a smart one. You don't look for fights." If her daughter was going to be a warrior, she would do her best to help steer her from too much trouble.

Laci followed along behind the king admiring some of the place as they went. "It would seem your chef then isn't a happy person."

Afsana grumbled a quiet "Okay." But, of course, she added, "But if someone start something with me, I'm gonna kick his a**."
Grigori tried really hard not to laugh, "Butt, sweetheart, we say 'butt' not 'a**'."

Avarossa stopped and grabbed a metal wash tub as they went, the puppy needed that bath, and soon. "Remember that's a bad word. Only adults can say stuff like that."

Grigori laughed, "You'll probably need some help, honey, puppy might be able to overpower you."

Avarossa smiled. At least Afsana was taking some responsibility for the puppy. "How about you hep me wash the puppy? I know I could use it."

Laci followed into the kitchen and spotted all the food. "I guess you're right." She couldn't help but notice the cook had made enough to feed more then just them.
