Apparently the clocks had become a lot more easy to open since that angry minipet had trampled through them. When Kallos had picked up the closest clock and attempted to pry it open, it actually opened.
And then exploded in a flurry of ash and clock parts.
Kallos slowly shoved the now exploded clock away from him, with a face that could only be described as being: ; A ;

There was much swearing to be heard from Poke, whom had came in here to open another clock in search for the illusive ring.
But instead, all she received was a spring in her eye.
The clock was long forgotten as she held onto her eye and hoped that she would sitll be able to see after this.

Enya looked around at all the smashed up clocks as she walked through this gym. She was totally excited to try smashing one. So she quickly picked up the hammer. Breathing in deeply, she lifted up the hammer and brought it down onto one of the clocks hoping to find a ring inside of it like she was supposed to. Before she even has time to look at it, the clock explodes in her face. She falls backwards sputtering and just sits there for a bit before collapsing in laughter. That was fun except for clock bits exploding at her.

Enya gets up and brushes off the broken bits of clock still clinging to her hair. Deciding to stay for a little bit, she starts to walk around the gym looking for anything interesting. She comes across a dronew. "Oh! So cute! Yes you are." She reaches out her hand to pet it and it seems to like her a lot. "Would you like to come home with me?" It seems the dronew does. Happy to have accomplished something, she leaves with a big grin on her face and a new minipet to take home.

Sebastian was getting a bit bored with this mundane task. Sure, smashing clocks had been fun at first. The anticipation of what was inside was always lingering. Now he had learned to just expect disappointment.
Well at least Time Out was getting some sort of sick amusement from this, assuredly.

The clock that Kallos recieved seemed to be a tad...unstable. When the haunt placed it down in front of him, it seemed to break slightly. Warily, he poked it with his hammer.
It exploded. The haunt and the table around him were covered in soot, and the poor boil could only wonder sadly why he always got an exploding clock.

Carefully, thoughtfully, reverently, Christof gave the clock a pop with the hammer. It popped open with an explosion of parts that sprang directly at his face, popping a couple stitches with its metallic slap.
In a fit of rage, the hunchback threw the clock against the wall and stormed off.

Again with the explosions! Artemis, soot covered and shocked, set his hammer down and assumed a crossed-legged position, allowing time to settle down. With a deep breath, he picked up a hammer, a clock, and sat there. He would do this.

Jericho went on to try and tinker with the clocks again, trying to see if he could open one up. All this effort got him was a spring to the face.

Willow had come back one again to try to help Time Out. She smiled as she took up a hammer and carefully picked out a clock to open. As she worked, something sounded a bit funny, with every clink, there was a tick. Suddenly the Clock exploded on her. "Oh for Jack's sake!" Willow cried once the shock of the explosion had wore off a little bit.
That wasn't any good, hopefully there was nothing actually in that clock. She frowned hoping she hadn't just broken more than the clock, before getting up and retreating. The ghoul didn't feel like exploding anything else.
