I can't forget the flavor
of that wurst I had before Ludwig Leader of Disciplinary Committee Ludwig just so happened to over-hear the two classmates that were talking and thought back to when he was younger. He didn't really remember his childhood...
Truth be told, his first memory was waking up in God-Knows-Where with the person he would one day call his older brother asking if he was alright, who was here, where he was from, why he was there, and so on. As obnoxious as Gilbert could be.... Ludwig was truly grateful to have a brother like Gilbert. The man had named him, given him a home, fed him, and helped give him most of his culture. The two of them had been through so much and had been so used to being on their own, but at least they had been on their own together. Yeah, sure, it seems like Francis and Antonio had almost always been there as well, but most of his memories consisted of just him and his brother. When they weren't fighting, rough-housing, or practicing together, they were laughing, drinking, and having a good time...
Ludwig kind of missed those days... He and his brother used to be so close. Maybe he was starting to forget his brother. Sure, it was great the two of them had their own friends and all, but maybe Ludwig should make more of an effort to hang out with Gilbert...
He then remembered they were in class and went back to taking notes like he had been. School is a place to learn, not a place to remanence and daydream.   "One night, I couldn't sleep well and opened my eyes...to find some strange guy staring at me." "The hell are you doing, Italy!"

"In some ways. But I don't think someone as strong as you would be scared of a person like me." Berwald was strong also, probably as strong as Mathias. I guess that's why they're so equally matched all the time. And Lukas knew that if Berwald was angry enough, he would turn into a blood-thirsty monster as well.
