Heading back inside, he tucked the odd looking metallic object into his pocket and headed down the hall slowly; not really walking anywhere in particular.

A passing servant saw him wander, and had been laying the table out before; trying to be kind or rather helpful; she gave him the set of cutlery for Crest; and he was pointed in direction of the dining room. Once there he saw the Master of the House leaning back on the seat.

The angel did have his daft moments, as he set out the cutlery for him quietly; and went to leave; not wishing to disturb him whilst he ate.

Letting out a small sound of being startled as he landed on the seat; moving to speak but Crest carried on and the angel blinked at the large amount of food pushed in front of him.

Thanking him, he started to eat, and for some reason Crest's actions had caused a small smile to meet his face; the angel had just realised that the man had been waiting for his company, not the cutlery.

He brightened at the mention of the children and hurried the last part of his meal.

Sitting back against the chair; one hand over his waist; not used to such a large amount; the Duodecim let out a content sigh.

Still quiet as he thanked the man again, before speaking more directly; "Shall I clean away the plates?"
He remembered before when he had tried to take part in the servant's duties, thinking that was what he was for; the other male had reprimanded him, reminding him not to do so. So this time he thought, better make sure and ask first.

Looking up as the man approached, the angel's eyes hel curiosity before he was being lifted; when he struggled a little, in vain. "I-I can wal-Ah!" He tried to protest but was flung over his shoulder and carried off.

As they passed the large iron barred door, and through the cells; he grew quiet; remembering not to speak unless spoken to; as Crest would have had to make a spectacle out of him if he had; Leonis also averted the eyes of many angry looking slaves. Whether they were mad at him or just in general, he didn't care to find out.

Soon they ha marched into the room where the few surrogates were caring for the younger children. Once set down a small girl, around 2 was already holding up her arms to the stranger, she had seen a white feather poking out the collar of his shirt; and made a gurgling sound before shouting 'upp'.
Leonis didn't hesitate to pick her up, letting her poke and prod away, he merely had a gift with handling children.

Helping prepare the clothes and packs for the children leaving, Leonis also helped the surrogates in general; the women surprised at how a young man could be quite so gentle. One wiser older woman had seen Crest's quick readjustment on his clothes, and quickly came to the conclusion; but kept the origin of his species to herself; as he seemed to give them a break. The children he was with were climbing over him as he entertained. "One at a time there, haha" He lifted a boy from his shoulders, ignoring the slight pain it had caused on still scarring wounds underneath.

One young one gently traced the purple bruise on his neck, asking about it; and the angel paused; remembering the incident that had terrified him; before replying. "Sometimes.. People need more than words to express themselves; and sometimes people need to be shown how to, behave. " He was struggling with explaining it, but she thankfully got distracted with something else and began asking him about the snow outside.

Some of the children were upset at leaving the others who'd they'd made friends closely with, but were persuaded gently by the surrogates to try and cheer up as they had been given better opportunities than some.

One of the younger surrogates was interested in Leonis though; she kept asking questions. "Have you always worked under the Android Master? We've never seen you until he brought you down? Were you a helper? What house were you sold from?"
The angel was overwhelmed, sure it was just curiosity, but he had no clue how to answer half the questions.
