(Vulcan stifled a yawn as he stood up straight dusting off his coat. Was he really going to be forced to watch them fight? Well he was still technically in the tournament so it was all good to him. He would fight soon enough. He watched as the boys faced one another in combat with little interest...

rolling forward, Travis jumped up off the ground and quickly turned around and faced Travis and resumed his fighting stance by turning to his side and digging his feet into the sand for stability and positioned his legs in a way that would allow him maneuverability and leveled his closed fists in front of him to gaurd his face and body. Travis was ready for whatever kappa had in store for him with determination not to lose this match no matter what...he was gonna win.

Kappa digged his own feet into the sand and then sent himself lunging forward with a fist, as he lunged forward, he used the ki to push himself forward farther and move faster than what they had both would've expected, Kappa then brought his fist down on Travis as fast as he could.

Travis swiftly slide his left foot back and turned his left shoulder to the back slightly steping to the outside of his lunge as he extended his right fist in a quick and precise way that made it unavoidable from kappas current lunging position as he accurately aimed for his throat knocking the wind out of him and disorienting him
*wing chun skill: shoulder punch* -10 ki

Fenrir Graveheart Kappa is disqualified for inactivity. The match goes to Vulcan and Travis. (Well I guess a person can't have a majority of his time taken from outside of Gaia working on driving class when dealing with things like this, no matter, didn't actually care anyways....Enjoy your tourney....) Kappa stands up after being knocked back by Travis' strike, dusts himself off and heads back to his dorm, not saying goodbye, not thanking anyone for a good match, no anger, no sorrow, nothing. He just heads home, he felt betrayed by Yuki and angered by impatience and his own weaknesses.

Vulcan sighed. Was this it? Was this all this tournament had was quitters? He only hoped that the weak would be pushed away as the strong were revealed in the later rounds. He decided to train until round 2 had begun.

Travis slowly lowered his fighting stance untill he was in a erect position with his hands slowly draped at his sides. Travis looked over at kappa and calmly spoke in a normal tone.
"We should have a real match sometime" he said walking off from the battle field claiming his hollow victory over the boring match then glancing over at fenrir and asked.
"dose that count as a level up....since there were two of them the same level as me....shouldn't that mean that I'm a level two....also when dose round two start"

Taking a book that he had taken from the library at least a month ago and hadn't bothered to return he flipped to the section on Muay thai. He decided he would learn this then wrestling.
He didn't have anything specifically stated in the book to train with but he figured he could manage without. He began hopping back and forth to learn a certain rhythm to his movements. He threw many powerful jabs, and brought one punch straight down twisting his body into a spin with a crushing elbow blow. He hit the sand hard, and leaned back on his hands and shoved off landing on his feet. He was already significantly stronger than most people here. But with this training he would be able to jump higher too.
After nearly hours of this kind of training, which included elbow attacks, knee blows, jabs, and jumping, and moving to a rhythm that is his own, he eventually was able to figure out how to jump much higher, his body was slowly becoming more accustomed to kicking higher, and faster. He would soon be prepared to learn actual attacks.
The first move was aptly called clench, where he would grab the neck of a target using his enormous strength to pull them down into his reinforced knee. He was sure this would kill most anyone he did it to. Which made him grin all the more. Anyone foolish enough to allow him to catch them in his death grip deserved what they got.
In his eyes this technique though by the schools 'ranking system' was low he knew that he could easily use this to end a fight in a matter of moments. He wasn't afraid of anyone at this school, and thus far hadn't found someone he considered totally worthy of facing him in combat. He knew with this technique that he could either break weaklings in a single blow, or find out who the worthy opponents are- which means either someone capable of not being knocked out or dying, or someone capable of getting free.
He reach out with his arms and pulled down at an imaginary neck launching his knee simultaneously into the air. The knee would have planted itself right into the nose of the enemy, and if he had his carbon limb skill activated he would probably end a fight instantly. But so far he hadn't had a real fight that he could test something like this in. Maybe soon though.
Skill learned- Clench.
Ignoring the 'Knights shield' skill he went on to the next one, Elephant kick.
Judging by its name, the elephant kick would surely be a kick worthy of being learned by Vulcan. Though after reading about it he came to realize it was pretty much the same thing as a round-house kick. Which despite his lack of professional training had always came easily to him.
But the difference here would be that he could learn to do it faster, and higher. Before he could only reach a round-house to the mid torso of enemies as tall as himself. But with his muay thai training he knew he could easily kick over the head of someone even taller than himself.
He began by practicing spinning and kicking straight out right where an imaginary enemies gut was. This wasn't exactly what he needed to do, and it wasn't near as high as it should be. But he was making sure he had the basic idea down pat before continuing on.
Soon he was kicking high into the air and carrying his leg all the way around in a 360 motion. He realized that without a sturdy target his own force was carrying him dangerously around in a half circle opening his back up to possible assault. Meaning this attack had to hit or he would be open for counter-attack. He grinned even wider, for this was his kind of attack. A risk he would always be willing to take.
-Skill learned: Elephant kick.
He sat down for a moment deciding he needed a break from the training he was reckless, but not stupid- well that could be said if he wasn't taking a break so that he could drink. He took a large flask from his coat pocket and unscrewed the cap taking a few large gulps of the liquid hiding inside.

ROUND 2 BEGINS!
Vulcan vs Travis
All fighters begin with a full Ki reserve. Same tournament rules of engagement apply. The fight ends when one competitor either forfeits or gets knocked out.

Vulcan Fullbuster ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ And announcement came over the loud speaker, stating the second round was beginning. Which meant he was now going to face another opponent, this time alone. Meaning he would get to have his own fun. His grin grew and he returned his flask to his coat, the book too. He stood and waited for his prey to enter. "Who will break first... You, or me? Let's find out!"Hahahahahahahahhahaha! I'm gonna make you bleed.

Travis walked over to the golden sand after hearing the announcement broadcast and felt as unprepared and at a disadvantage to his opponent as he could ever be. seeing as though his opponent had time to train as he did not, Travis felt cheated and had no intention on winning this match and would forfit the match to fullbuster.
"this is unfair dude, I quit" he said turning around and leaving "good luck in the next round"

((I don't guess I count all of these forfeited matches as wins, right?)) Vulcan snorted in disapproval. Unfair? What was unfair was all of these weaklings being pitted against him. Maybe this would be for the better. Maybe he would be able to face someone worthy of his abilities. He decided to return to his training, seeing as he no longer had anyone here to face. Oooh shock club. He liked the name for this one. Seemed as if he was meant to spin in a 360 motion around the opponent. Thus slamming his elbow into the back of the neck, either ending the fight in his favor or screwing himself over. This skill required precise timing, which Vulcan could probably pull off. He was an excellent fighter, and he had no intention of losing this tournament. So he would use this skill to his advantage, as it was a quick attack that coupled with his powerful frame could prove deadly to any fool that dare stand before him. He quickly took up a fighting stance preparing himself for a spin, he spun around an imaginary opponent, simultaneously twisting his core to the left thus providing extra speed and power to the swing of his elbow. His coat tail whipped through the air as his elbow met the neck of his imaginary opponent. The imaginary opponent wasn't just one person, it was actually three, but all at once, all standing near one another. The three people that had forfeited the matches before against him, he snapped ones neck with the spinning blow. Then he spun again only half of the spin this time bringing his elbow into the other enemies neck, then he elephant kicked the last one in the skull sending shrapnel of bone forth. -Skill learned: Shock Club He grinned as imaginary blood splattered his suit, he could almost smell it. Soon he would make someone bleed, very soon. This was his tournament and he would destroy anyone that stood in his way.

kuro ran toward the beach and jumped up. while in the air he quickly removed his over shirt and landed on his back on the sand and began to laugh " oh sand how I missed u so " he said rolling around in it for a few seconds before getting back up and dusting him self off "okay then now down to bizness" kuro said then grabbed the book and began reading the book "so on all fours huh...intresting" kuro said then put the book down then began stretching [1/4]
